The rooms are tiny. Breakfast is the same and never changes. We asked for a thick layer of dust to be removed, but no one has done so in four days.

The morning buffet is great. It's a semi-buffet style where you can choose between Japanese or Western main dishes, but you can also have as much bread and rice as you want, so you can pretty much eat both. The free ramen in the evening was also quite tasty. The waiting lobby also has a luxurious feel.

This was my first time traveling to Kanazawa, so I was a little nervous, but this was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were friendly, and the accommodations seemed clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was great, and the large bath was fantastic. Next time I visit Kanazawa, I'll definitely book at the Manten Hotel again.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's only a 10-minute walk from Gotemba Premium Outlets. You can take a bridge from the 6th floor of the car park, and there's even a prime spot on the bridge for taking photos of Mount Fuji. At first I really couldn't find the main door. I thought I had to take the stairs to carry my luggage up, but I ended up taking the elevator from the hot spring area to the second floor and walking through the overpass to the main building to check in! The place overall it's quite good, especially with the food and shinkansen package. My biggest complaint are the beds which are terrible, uncomfortable, and really messed up my back. The room is outdated style of Japanese room design. When we reach the Echigo Yuzawa station there are no more JR train at 21.45 at nite, we have to take a taxi to the hotel.
