The ski-in/ski-out access at this hotel is incredibly convenient. The hotel also boasts a wide range of facilities. After a day of skiing, you can relax and soothe your tired muscles in the hot spring. Everything was great, except for the limited selection at the hotel's convenience store.

Only the facade and lobby look grand. The only good thing is the airport shuttle goes directly there. Nothing else was good. The room was large but very rundown. The bathroom lighting was dim.

This was my first time in Karuizawa, and I picked this hotel blindly, but it turned out to be even better than I expected. The hotel is right next to the outlets, making shopping, getting around, and dining all super convenient. The room decor was also very cozy.

It’s a short walk from the ski room to the gondola.  We enjoyed the restaurants and onsen.  This is a quiet place.  We had a fantastic week of skiing with fresh snow on five consecutive days. Nearly all of the terrain is off-piste so good snow is needed to access most runs.

I booked the Takayama Green Hotel, and for a standard price, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a hot spring hotel! I could enjoy a very relaxing soak. The hotel service was also excellent, and they even gave us discount coupons for the neighboring product hall.

Theres only one chair in the lobby, that nobody can sit on, because it's got a strong parfume dispenser right next to it, that goes off every 15 seconds. The people on reception have bad english. There’s no Laundry room, only expensive Laundry service, that doesn’t work on the weekends. This hotel is in an excellent location, with friendly, helpful service and generally good quality rooms. One downside to my stay was the bed, which was very uncomfortable. The hotel's proximity to the old districts, museums and gardens is a big plus.

Superb location and hospitality. Spacious, clean, and quiet room. I attended the Kanazawa Marathon on the weekend, the hotel location is right across the street, and the hotel was so caring to open breakfast buffet at 6:30am so runners can have breakfast before race.
