Hokkaido, Chitose, Chitose-shi, 2 Chome-2-1 🧭 Map
Great location for self driving travellers and free parking, and if you are looking for a quick stay near the airport. Thanks for the front desk staff for a free upgrade and the room was spatious.
The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel is located near the train station in the quieter Chitose area, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided great room service. One of the biggest highlights was the convenient airport transportation, especially a huge relief when we had to manage our suitcases in the snow.
There is also a shopping mall near the...
The front desk agent gave us a room that was already occupied. We got quite a shock when we opened the door!
The room was quite spacious, though the facilities felt a bit outdated. The staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied.
Extremely satisfied! The hotel was surprisingly clean; I had expected an older property but it turned out to be quite new. It was also very spacious. Overall, super happy with it. It was very convenient to stay near the airport the night before leaving Sapporo. The next morning, I just woke up and took a taxi to the airport.
Great location! The entire places was amazing, like the ice sculptures displayed ❤️❤️

Hokkaido, Chitose, Bibi, New Chitose Airport, 国際線旅客ターミナルビル 4~8F 🧭 Map
The room was spacious with a great view of airplanes, and the facilities were very new. The staff were incredibly friendly and there were even Mandarin-speaking staff available. Guests can also enjoy the hot springs for free, which is a fantastic perk.
stayed here once last year and booked this place immediately after confirming our 2nd trip back to hokkaido! excellent views and service from the hotel and it has an onsen for one final soak before heading home. we would always stay at this airport hotel before our morning flight to ensure we would not miss our flight due to snow, highly highly recommended!!
Who would've thought our last night in Hokkaido, at an airport hotel, would be the best night? The room was huge with a direct view of the planes from the window. All the snacks and drinks in the room were complimentary. There's a hot spring and the facilities are very modern. Breakfast at the hotel costs extra, and the food selection wasn't as extensive as I expected. However, it's super convenient...
I love the hotel’s design, and most importantly, it is impeccably clean, kudos to the housekeeping team for maintaining such high standards. At the concierge, I was warmly greeted by a very courteous male staff member who even offered to carry my bags to the room while I checked in.
Perfect place to stop over after flying into the airport, rest and visit the onsen before exploring more in the area. Everything about the stay was great.
The reception service was excellent, and the front desk staff spoke Chinese. You can see the planes and the runway from here.

The hotel management is really poor. The public hot spring always has a sticky film on top, and there were foreign objects in the large pool where people lie down, almost cutting my skin. The worst part is that these things can't be removed. The day after soaking, my feet were incredibly itchy, probably due to a fungal infection. People with tattoos and whatnot were also soaking, and no one seemed...
Good. Facilities are new, and the hygiene is spotless. The environment is beautiful, right next to Lake Shikotsu. Service is excellent.
Excellent stay!
**Environment:** Beautiful and exquisite everywhere you look.
**Service:** Very attentive, made me feel really comfortable.
**Cleanliness:** Spotless, I was pleasantly surprised at every turn.
Just a heads-up about transportation: make sure you find the shuttle pick-up point. Luckily, a Trip.com staff member helped me with the booking.
Excellent service and hotel environment
Cozy hall with professional staff service
Private onsen is amazing under the snow
We had a really fantastic time at Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort which was a once in a lifetime experience for us. The area is beautiful and the spa has everything you need for a fantastic and relaxing stay. We stayed in a Premier Suite and the rooms are fantastic - fully equipped and spacious with all amenities, and a fantastic private Onsen to relax in.The staff at the spa were extremely friendly and...
The hotel offers a shuttle service for guests to and from the airport and JR station. I found the shuttle schedule and booked my seat easily on the hotel's official website, which was very convenient. The hotel's buffet breakfast was also quite extensive.

I booked this hotel because I couldn't see the 'Song of Light' during my visit, and it also conveniently tied into my travel itinerary, which was great.
Service: We received welcome drinks upon check-in, and the room had welcome fruits and champagne 🍾. All minibar items and room service orders were complimentary (though we didn't use them, the gesture was much appreciated).
Cleanliness: I walked...
During the off-season, the hotel upgraded to a high floor room. The service was good and responsive. The hot springs were great and private. It is incomprehensible that such an expensive hot spring hotel does not include dinner. Since it is expensive, it should provide value for money and provide breakfast and dinner. Instead of saving dinner costs, there are no other good places nearby.
The room is very large, with floor heating, a separate hot spring bath, separate wet and dry bathrooms, pajamas, socks, and home clothes that can be worn in the hotel. Full butler service, free shuttle to the airport, separate private rooms for dining, waiters will introduce the dishes one by one, and there will be a different menu every day, which is worth recommending!
The price is the most expensive hotel in Zhiqian Lake, and the hardware conditions are OK! It has everything it should have! But it is not worth coming!
The hot spring water is great
However, the toiletries are particularly bad! They are all their own brand products. I used them to tie my hair and combed out a lot! Hotels over 3,000 yuan all use pola, but I have never used such a bad one! Such an expensive...
Everything is good, the food is very exquisite, the sense of ceremony is full, but the food is exquisite, the actual taste and ingredients are ordinary, no merit or fault. The overall experience is affirmed. Before booking, I saw in the comment area that the charge for bringing children is no more than 1,000 yuan per person. When I settled the bill, I was shocked to see the price. One child added almost...
The scenery is first-class, the private bath is very large, there is boating on the lake, which needs to be booked in advance, and there are many things to eat on the lake. The hotel's own catering is also very good, and teppanyaki needs to be booked in advance. The lounge sommelier is very professional, he is an old grandfather.

Best Western Plus Hotel Chitose – Convenient Airport Stay with Mixed Service
My family and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Chitose this week. The hotel is about 10–15 minutes from New Chitose Airport, and the taxi ride cost roughly $30 USD, which made travel very convenient.
Our arrival experience wasn’t the strongest start. We arrived around 2:00 pm and were told our room was ready but that we...
Near to New Chitose Airport. It is better if have shutter provided to the hotel especially during the night.
The hotel is a straightforward 10-minute walk from Chitose Station. The Japanese-Western style room was very comfortable, and it was lovely to enjoy a late-night snack at the small table on the tatami mat. The bathroom and toilet are separate, which was very efficient for three people staying together.
The room was quite clean, and the transportation was convenient, being very close to the airport.
I had to stay here for a night because my flight was cancelled. It was really convenient, very close to the airport, and super clean. The bathroom was also quite spacious. The price wasn't too bad either. Overall, it was a great stay.
Not very satisfied with the used items placing in the floor which feel its messy. There was no complementary water, coffee or tea in the room. The breakfast were simple and not much to choose from.

The room is nice, and the onsen in the room is great. The snow view is wonderful. The service here is good. We were late to the hotel due to traffic jam and missed dinner, but luckily the hotel staff, Mr. 塩谷, was very kind and helped arrange for dinner to be delivered to our room. We really appreciate that!
One of my favorite hotel stays anywhere in the world. Exceptional service. Great Lake Shikotsu views from the rooms and the facility. Meals were outstanding both in their quality and interesting offerings.
The negative reviews seem very out of place to us. Assume it is based on which room type selected. Our room was very clean, nice features - deluxe twin. Regarding meals, it is a set menu - if you...
Here's a review/guide:
1. Honestly, the location is quite remote. The last bus from Chitose Station is at 4 PM. If you're coming from central Sapporo, you'd probably need to leave by 2 PM. I left at 3:30 PM and missed it, ending up paying 14,000 JPY for an Uber.
2. The service, however, was excellent. Upon arrival, they inform you of dinner times, and for breakfast, you can choose between 7 AM or...
Staff is friendly and food is very good. Make sure to book the shuttle ahead of time, it will take about 30 minutes from the JR station.
This is a very Japanese-style onsen hotel. I could communicate with the staff using simple English for work-related tasks. The traditional Japanese service was excellent, and it was incredibly quiet. The tatami mats were very comfortable, and I slept wonderfully. During the day, coffee, tea, and snacks were available in the first-floor cafe. The second-floor tea room offered a wide variety of tea bags...
This is a very traditional Japanese onsen ryokan. If you've never experienced this type of hotel before, it's an excellent choice. As someone who appreciates home decor, I absolutely loved the small cabinets and ornaments throughout the hotel; they felt carefully selected. There were also welcome drinks near the front desk, and a certain milk tea was delicious – definitely worth trying!
The hotel...

Situated within its own natural area overlooking lake shikotsu with a bird sanctuary nearby
The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh option but the only problem is that the room doesn’t comes with shower . You will need to walk outside to take a shower which is inconvenient . Onsen was amazing .
Excellent location with views of Lake Shikotsu and we were there during fall foilage. They have bird feeders outside the dining area with binoculars so you can wait for the chance to see the famed Shimaenaga, we were unfortunately not so lucky.
The staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous, and most spoke English well.
Rooms were clean, spacious and the bath left my skin silky smooth. They had...
Happy to see the deers during dinner time! The place is serene and secluded. Housekeeping did their job to keep the rooms in spotless conditions. Buffet breakfast and dinner has lots of variety and restaurants staffs are friendly and helpful.
The environment and staff were wonderful, and I truly enjoyed my stay. Both the food and spring water were excellent. The resort even offers a nighttime star tour, which was a fantastic experience.

Hokkaido, Chitose, Shikotsukoonsen 🧭 Map
To be honest, I didn't have high expectations when I stayed here. I had heard that the building wasn't particularly new, and that Lake Shikotsu Onsen wasn't particularly well-known. However, after actually staying there, I found everything to be wonderful. First of all, the location is fantastic. As the name Lakeside Villa suggests, it really does face the lake, offering endless views of the majestic...
Very Nice food over there
We love the message chair in the room
Each room has a hot spring bath. There are two private baths, and I chose the rock style one. The spring water is basically the same as the room, but the environment is large enough!
The room was normal, just enjoying the quiet feeling by the lake.
The waiter was very friendly. The dinner was French cuisine, which was delicious. It was right by the lake and the view was amazing. The hotel has only 8 rooms. The private bath is facing the lake. No Chinese people come here, so it is quiet and beautiful.
I stayed here with my son and his wife for a celebration. This is a rare inn located right next to Lake Shikotsu. It is a long-established inn, and although it is undeniably old, it has a total of 8 rooms, an open-air bath, and children under 13 years old are not allowed to stay. It is a quiet and relaxing inn. You can spend time looking at Lake Shikotsu from your room and restaurant. There is no large...
The service is excellent! The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed the room onsen bath and massage chair in our room. The food is fabulous too, I really enjoy the French dinner and the Japanese breakfast. It was a quiet and wonderful experience in Lake Villa Suimeikaku and we'll come back again.
