Hotel Route-Inn Chitose Ekimae, Chitose1 / 28

Hokkaido, Chitose, 5 Chome-3-1 Chiyodacho 🧭 Map
The hotel is perfectly located very close to the railway station. It took us only 8 minutes to get to the arport from the station. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The reception staff is professional
Great location, just a few minutes' walk from JR Chitose Station. There's a Lawson convenience store nearby, and they offer a free shuttle service to the airport. Very convenient!
Good value for money hotel. Onsen small but appreciated, breakfast for free was a nice addition. Staff friendly and helpful. A few minutes walk from the station. Recommended.
Nice hotel. Near chitose JR station & with onsen. Hotel walking distance to Aeon Mall . We use the hotel shuttle to the airport.
good location. clean and comfortable room. free shuttle to airport. will book again if come this way
The hotel staff is very nice in helping us checking in and gave us 4 tokens for the vending machine (we're a group of 5). The onsen is clean and safe, separate floor for men and women onsen

Hokkaido, Chitose, Honcho, 4 Chome−4 🧭 Map
There's a massage chair and various multiplayer card games available, as well as a play area for children
Plus, the complimentary ochazuke (tea rice) for late-night snacks was such a nice touch—perfect after a long day of traveling. What’s more, they provide free airport shuttle service, which saved us a lot of trouble
Originally, we only stayed here for one night due to a flight connection, but the experience far exceeded our expectations! The hotel offers great amenities like an on-site hot spring, massage chairs, and a gym
In the morning, the golden sunlight streaming through the courtyard was absolutely stunning, adding a peaceful and beautiful start to our day. Considering all these, the price is really reasonable and worth it
Close to new chitose airport. Free shuttle bus service is a plus. Room is small but for over night stay before flying out is better than sleeping in the airport. Timetable for the free shuttle is posted.
Highly recommend this place for transit travelers!

Hokkaido, Chitose, 6-chōme-4-4 Suehiro 🧭 Map
I highly recommend it for anyone with a late arrival or early departure flight. I also took the opportunity to explore Sapporo Airport during dinner time
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location, right outside JR Chitose Station
The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; they contacted the bus company to retrieve a bag we'd left on the airport bus, helped us tie up loose ends, and gave us directions. I'm very grateful for their assistance
The hygiene was impeccable, the service attentive, and the combination of snow scenery and the onsen created an incredible atmosphere. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hokkaido!
The hotel is a few minutes away from the JR Chitose station. There is a 7- Eleven nearby. It is also walkable to AEON. The room is spacious. Definitely my fav hotel. Only 2 stations away from New Chitose Airport.
JR Inn Chitose has all the essentials - comfy bed and pillows, good stock toiletries, tasty breakfast. Convenient location to JR Chitose and Aeon Chitose. Good place to start for Hokkaido adventure!

Hokkaido, Chitose, Bibi, ターミナルビル内 3階 New Chitose Airport 🧭 Map
Smacked right in the domestic departure hall of CTS and has all the amenities you might need. Though a bit dated it was great for someone who’s flying out early next day. The onsen ticket was a nice touch.
Room is decent sized, rooms come with complimentary breakfast. The location of the hotel is very convenient.
Stayed at New Chitose Airport Hotel again. It's really easy to find, as soon as you reach domestic departures Gate E, you'll see the hotel sign. The room locks have been upgraded from keys to key cards since last year
The Japanese breakfast buffet was unique from the usual western or contemporary buffet i have before. The location was superb and a very good transit hotel to stay after a long flight
The hotel's breakfast and complimentary large public bath service are excellent; it's a shame I was in a hurry this time and didn't get to enjoy the public bath
Perfect location for one night stay, just a little bit confuse when check it, i went to the 2nd floor (beside domestic departure) and found entrance for a lift to 3rd floor lobby

Hokkaido, Chitose, Bibi, New Chitose Airport, 国際線旅客ターミナルビル 4~8F 🧭 Map
Who would've thought our last night in Hokkaido, at an airport hotel, would be the best night? The room was huge with a direct view of the planes from the window. All the snacks and drinks in the room were complimentary
However, thanks to the kind assistance of Yi Lin (who was a terrific polyglot fluent in both English, Japanese, and Chinese!), we were able to get things in order, and we had a very smooth check-in and reception
Guests can also enjoy the hot springs for free, which is a fantastic perk
stayed here once last year and booked this place immediately after confirming our 2nd trip back to hokkaido! excellent views and service from the hotel and it has an onsen for one final soak before heading home
The room was spacious with a great view of airplanes, and the facilities were very new. The staff were incredibly friendly and there were even Mandarin-speaking staff available
Perfect place to stop over after flying into the airport, rest and visit the onsen before exploring more in the area. Everything about the stay was great.

Hokkaido, Chitose, 5 Chome-6-1 Saiwaicho 🧭 Map
Nice hotel for those who need simple accommodation for early flights from New Chitose Airport. Free transport to airport. New setup; bathroom and bed good. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance.
For Japan, the room wasn't small; it was actually pretty good. You could easily open two or three suitcases without any issues. For a 'pigeon-coop' hotel in Japan, you can't ask for much more
Otherwise, if you're coming from Hakodate or some other remote place, it's quite a long journey, and if you miss your train, you might have to wait several hours for the next JR. Staying here in advance is the safest bet
The lady at the front desk and a slightly plump guy were both very enthusiastic and had excellent attitudes. I went during a very sensitive time, and there were absolutely no problems
The only minor drawback, if I had to name one, is that there aren't many shopping centers or entertainment options nearby, and it gets dark early. If you're flying home, you absolutely, positively must book this place!!
I booked this hotel as I needed to fly out early from Chitose. I arrived at 12pm but wasn't able to check in until 3pm but my luggage could be stored. The rooms are SMALL but practical, no complaints

Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort Spa Mizu No Uta, Chitose1 / 30

Hokkaido, Chitose, Shikotsukoonsen 🧭 Map
We had a really fantastic time at Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort which was a once in a lifetime experience for us. The area is beautiful and the spa has everything you need for a fantastic and relaxing stay
The hotel management is really poor. The public hot spring always has a sticky film on top, and there were foreign objects in the large pool where people lie down, almost cutting my skin
Good. Facilities are new, and the hygiene is spotless. The environment is beautiful, right next to Lake Shikotsu. Service is excellent.
Excellent stay! **Environment:** Beautiful and exquisite everywhere you look. **Service:** Very attentive, made me feel really comfortable. **Cleanliness:** Spotless, I was pleasantly surprised at every turn
Just a heads-up about transportation: make sure you find the shuttle pick-up point. com staff member helped me with the booking
The worst part is that these things can't be removed. The day after soaking, my feet were incredibly itchy, probably due to a fungal infection. People with tattoos and whatnot were also soaking, and no one seemed to care

Shikotsuko Daiichi Hotel Suizantei, Chitose1 / 27
9.2
Hokkaido, Chitose, Shikotsukoonsen 🧭 Map
I didn't try any others, so I can't comment on them. There really are deer nearby! I saw them twice when they drove me to the station in the morning, but unfortunately, the car was too fast for me to get a picture
This could easily be called the hotel of a lifetime. It's located at Lake Shikotsu, accessible by bus from Hokkaido's New Chitose Airport to the final stop. Note that the hotel does not provide airport transfers
Regarding meals, it is a set menu - if you are particular it may be better to dine elsewhere and order directly. For the Onsen, we did not use as I have tattoos. They do have nice baths in the rooms
I left at 3:30 PM and missed it, ending up paying 14,000 JPY for an Uber. The service, however, was excellent. Upon arrival, they inform you of dinner times, and for breakfast, you can choose between 7 AM or 9 AM
There's also a 9:30 AM shuttle bus to the airport for 1,300 JPY, but it's annoying that they only accept cash. So, I took the free 11 AM shuttle that dropped me off at Chitose train station instead
You can see a picture of the dinner menu (Photo 1). Breakfast is similar to dinner, just without sashimi and with tofu instead. They mentioned a beautiful sunset, but I didn't get to see it

Kyukamura Shikotsuko, Chitose1 / 30

Hokkaido, Chitose, Shikotsukoonsen 🧭 Map
Wonderful location - secluded near Lake Shikotsu. Great for scenic walks although not easy during winter snow. Walkable to the lake lookout at the Yumasen red bridge. Nice little onsen for evening / morning baths
Lots of variety for the meals, so you won't get too bored after a few nights stay. Note, rooms only have toilets / sink, no shower and bath. You have to use their bath, but I went a few times and it was empty
The environment and staff were wonderful, and I truly enjoyed my stay. Both the food and spring water were excellent. The resort even offers a nighttime star tour, which was a fantastic experience.
They have bird feeders outside the dining area with binoculars so you can wait for the chance to see the famed Shimaenaga, we were unfortunately not so lucky
They had salt scrubs and different shampoo brands, and had after bath lotions, toners and serums. The food and meals were great, shabu for dinner and the best croissants for bf
The staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous, and most spoke English well. Rooms were clean, spacious and the bath left my skin silky smooth

The facilities are relatively old, but the overall environment is very good, like an old-fashioned luxury hotel with free hot springs and saunas.
Very good location! Not far from the JR station..walking distance. The bathroom is small but the hotel has a big and clean hot bath pool on the 6th floor. The staff are nice and very helpful!
It’s a compact hotel located near the JR station, just a few minutes walk to the hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the airport, but you have to show your intention when checking in
Lovely hotel, really clean and has everything you need. The onsen was amazing and staff were ever so nice. Even a free mini bus to airport if needed! Definitely recommend:)
Spacious and clean room. The hotel is right next to Chitose Stn. They even offer a free hotel shuttle. 100% recommend if you are taking an early flight out in the morning.
Great location, just two minute walk from Chitose station. Room is bigger than standard japan room size. Bathroom is a bit small but full of function that we need

Marukoma Onsen Ryokan, Chitose1 / 25
8.8
Hokkaido, Chitose, Shikotsuko Poropinai 7 🧭 Map
Dinner, I think, was decent for the price! The ingredients seemed fresh, and it wasn't as bad as some online reviews claimed! Overall, Lake Shikotsu is worth visiting, and Marukoma is worth experiencing! It's an old brand, and the service is quite good! When we checked in, we casually mentioned needing a taxi the next day, and at breakfast, a staff member came to ask if we needed help calling one!...
The view is really beautiful, like a painting, the onsen is very good, interestingly there is a certain time given for photos and videos, there are special hours when the onsen is closed.
Out of the three onsen hotels I stayed at in Lake Shikotsu, Suizantei, which is popular online and hard to book, was actually quite average with no scenic views from its onsen
And the view from the public cafe is incredibly comfortable; just sitting there and daydreaming is a pure delight! The rooms are just for sleeping, small, and without a view, but the previous two hotels weren't any better
First, the onsen views are the best because of its elevated location. I wouldn't recommend the wild onsen as it's unmaintained and the water is very cold
Reviews online were mixed, but seeing it was a century-old onsen, I wanted to give it a try. Turns out, it was the only one of the three worth visiting

It is in a good location to go by car. The building is not new but it is clean. The staff is kind. Breakfast is pretty good. Parking lot is not big, but there is no need to worry because there is coin parking around.
4 out of 5 Beds are comfy, breakfast simple but packed, toilets average, and staff average japanese. It's a good stay for a few days. Too far away from the station. It's not real far but not close enough for me
Basic hotel and really love this place for its privacy. As usual, the staffs were at their best. Just that not really easy to find food nearby. Especially for dinner.
Is a good place near station Chitose. Not very expensive.
Clean and spacious with bathroom. The heat was quite hot though, and there wasn't any way to control the temperature. Staff were very pleasant and spoke a little English. Fridge and microwave included in our room
We needed parking but there wasn't any available; however there was a public parking lot nearby that was quite cheap. Free Japanese breakfast was filling and delicious
