Following the navigation on Ctrip leads to the correct building, but Google Maps directs you to the annex, which is a five to six-minute walk away. The annex doesn't have a front desk; check-in is done via self-service machines. In the main building, Indian staff are available to assist with machine check-in. The hotel is conveniently located, just a three to five-minute walk from JR Station and Otaru...

The main building for check-in is really close to JR station. Just exit, go straight, turn left after you see Lawson, and then another left at the intersection. It's about 400 meters. The hotel is spread out in several areas. After check-in, the staff told us our villa was another 10-minute walk away. Luckily, there's a shuttle service both ways. It meant we were quite a distance from the onsen, but...

There's a delicious soup curry restaurant right downstairs in the main building, but if your room happens to be directly above the kitchen, it can get quite smelly. The location is very convenient for transportation, being close to the JR station.

The location is great, but the hotel is a bit old and dusty in many areas. What's more, the hotel accommodation and the reception are in separate buildings, and so are the hot springs. It's three units across three buildings. To go to the hot springs, you have to get fully dressed and cross the road. After soaking, you can't just walk back to your room in your yukata; you have to put on heavy clothes...

Perfect. Dinner was delicious, the private bath was incredible. Stereo in the room, awesome view, just a bit far from Otaru, definitely recommend.

Great location, nestled halfway up the mountain with beautiful views. The hotel service is excellent, offering pickup and drop-off at Otaru Station. The room also has a hot spring bath.

The private bath in the room is definitely the highlight of the room. Plus the front desk even offered to change our room with a better view of the sea! Love it!

Hotel was a little old but well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The shuttle service provided by the hotel was very convenient, we made good use of it everyday. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. Having a private bath was definitely a plus. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from JR Otaru Station. You can pre-book a shuttle service, which runs from 3 PM to 7 PM in the afternoon, and there are also morning shuttles available. Amazing traditional ryokan run by a lovely couple who are very helpful. Great location close to the canal and train station. The breakfast is incredible and worth the experience on its own.

The traditional Japanese breakfast prepared by the host is superb. The place is very clean and tidy. The free covered car park is perfect so no need to remove the snow before driving. Just the WiFi is too weak.

One of the best authentic japanese bed & breakfast experience. Owners live on site, facility is extremely clean. Not the fancy modern decor, but you have everything you need here! Reminds me of St.Regis

Please upload updated photos of the renovations! The breakfast was clean and prepared with care, but the communal hot spring on the first floor is too small, barely fitting more than two people. You have to wait in line. I was really disappointed, especially after seeing the pictures and expecting a traditional ryokan.

Good location, near the train station. Also, very traditional and very hospitable. I enjoyed their amenities, especially the bathtub, and it is somewhere I will definitely stay again if when I go to Sapporo! Also, easy to get to, and very understanding hosts!

It's very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This was my third time staying here. The staff's service was excellent, making my stay very pleasant. I'd love to visit again.

They helped with my luggage upon arrival, and provided a check-in service. They speak fluent English. I booked a room with a private onsen (hot spring bath), which overlooked the canal – the view was amazing! There was also a massage chair. The complimentary wagashi (Japanese sweets) were delicious, and the mini-fridge was stocked with free drinks. Dinner was also quite good.

This hotel is excellent in every aspect. The staff are incredibly friendly and, despite limited English, they make a genuine effort to communicate. Three staff members were waiting outside for our check-in, and they escorted us all the way to the door during check-out. The location is super convenient, right next to the Otaru Canal, and it's a quick walk to Otaru Station. The hotel offers a lounge...

This is my second time here, and I'm completely satisfied with everything. The hospitality, in particular, is exceptional, making it my number one hotel to stay at again!

not bad. quite spacious. pretty close to the canal (walking distance)

I stayed there 3 times and wifi never worked. I asked the front desk and they said it was broken. Anyway location and service is okay. Pretty close to the station

The place is nice and well located near the Main Street and a couple blocks away from the station but the internet connection is not good at all, I stayed on the second floor and there was no internet I needed to get connected to the 3rd floor wifi and it was super bad quality.

No Wifi internet connection in rooms, property did not address the issue throughout the duration of stay.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. You will need to take 15 minutes taxi ride to reach here from Otaru station. It's right by the beach. Room is super spacious and comforting. There's kitchen and dining area. It was snowing so the balcony is filled with snow but the view is just so amazing. The staffs are very helpful. You can check in early with a small fee. Breakfast was simple. Complete amenities

Their Wi-Fi worked for maybe 5 minutes, and was extremely slow. I had to buy data from my phone and hotspot it to work, costing me much more money. I was so frustrated because this is so basic and they couldn't get that right. The workers were great but I'm still never coming back.

Very good, nice people, great view, nice room! It is recommended to book two nights to relax! The most amazing thing is opening the balcony door! From that moment on, you feel that taking a taxi is really worth it.

The location is a bit remote, but the view is great, the hardware is also very good, and the breakfast is very exquisite

Beautiful and newly renovated hotel and restaurant right next to the sea located in a small town 15 mins from Otaru. Easy with bus or taxi from Otaru station. Exceptional views from the room and restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast and all was excellent and made with local products. Nice and friendly host.

Beautiful accommodation, very nice owners

Although it is an old building, the bathroom has been renovated and is new and clean. The downside is that it is a little inconvenient to access and the room key is optional, but it is cheap so it may be worth the price.

The hotel has a strong fragrance smell, so it may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin. The Wi-Fi was unstable and I couldn't connect to the internet.

Other places raised their prices dramatically over the weekend, but this place had similar prices on weekdays and holidays, around 2650 yen. However, it's located halfway up a hill, so it can be tiring for people with suitcases or heavy luggage. It has Japanese-style tatami rooms, and the doors to the two rooms are very thin, offering virtually no soundproofing. The kitchen is fully equipped 👍, suitable...

A very good accommodation experience. The hostel was clean and quiet, and I slept soundly last night. It was also very convenient for getting around; I didn't feel it was far at all, even though I walked from the JR station.
