Hotels with sauna in Otaru

The room was small, but very clean, with everything I needed. There was a lan connection on the desk which I plugged into my laptop. I had my own wifi hotspot so didn't use the hotel wifi

The hotel's location is excellent, with rooms offering views of Mount Tengu and Otaru Station. They also provide a complimentary set menu dinner in the evenings

Can see that the decor, furniture etc are all probably seen decades of use. Regardless, the location was great - just outside the train station. I can leave my luggage immediately and go sightseeing

Great location, just opposite the JR station. It’s just 2 mins walk to Sankaku Market. If you have luggage and do not wanna drag around especially during winter, this is a great option

Funami-zaka Slope and the Sankaku Market are conveniently located just a short walk downstairs

Room size is small but quite standard in Japan. Onsen is good and has a pin to enter for female

The 11th floor offers a Western-style breakfast, while the 3rd floor has Japanese set meals, so you can choose what you prefer. There's also a large public bath on the 3rd floor for soaking

Authant hotel is a very classic n posh hotel in Otaru. Only 8 mins walk from otaru station. Room is spacious, clean n amenities provided are top class

Lobby and rooms are really spacious and clean. Toiletries were mostly provided, water pressure and heating is good. Hospitality was great as well

Located only less then 10mins away from Otaru Stn and accessible to otaru canal. Convenience store just right outside the hotel

Highly recommended if anyone plan to visit Ptaru and stay for a night or 2

The hotel is a 10min walk from the train station so it was hard to get there in snowy and icy conditions. The room was small and comfortable but clean.

This hotel is well maintained, located across from the ski resort, guests can enjoy a beautiful view by opening their room windows. The hotel itself is spacious, and the outdoor hot springs are decent

They accommodating all our needs. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was delightful! The photos are right out our window. There is literally a resort across the street

Worth it to go! Highly recommend to book. The bed is comfortable, clean hotel, service is VERY GOOD, they show you to the room, onsen is GREAT- two outdoor baths and one indoor bath

There is the perfect big onsen on the top with great view on the sea. All three days I visited it I was alone. Breakfast was ok, but not as gorgeous as I expected. The room was clean and quite big

The hotel is in a good Location near the chanel. Very nice beer brewery with a big variety of beer is just across the Chanel. Fish market and train station in 10 minutes by steps

Clean and big room, friendly staff, good location too. It’s just a few mins walk to the canal river. The only advice is that, you may find nearby parking lot to park your car (cheaper) 🚗 Overall all is good 😊

The room was a normal size and very close to the canal, within walking distance of all the attractions. The service was excellent; we arrived in the morning before check-in, and they stored our luggage for free

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is so good and you have to select a time slot to avoid over crowded in the restaurant. Location of the hotel is far from JR Station

By the time we checked in later that afternoon, our bags were already in the room. Overall, it was great, and I'd book this place again if I ever go back to Otaru

If there is a heavy snow fall it will be quite challenging to bring your luggage to the station. Overall, location of hotel is near to the Canal and restaurant

The shuttle service provided by the hotel was very convenient, we made good use of it everyday. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. Having a private bath was definitely a plus. Breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is located at higher point of Otaru. You can enjoy the scenery, the coldness and the quietness. Do include breakfast and dinner. Dinner is very romantic if you going with yr girl friend

Perched on a hill overlooking the sea, the hotel boasts wonderful views, perfect for catching both sunrise and sunset. Guests staying at the hotel also receive a discount for Mount Tengu Ropeway

While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, they are very well-maintained. Each room features a private hot spring tub with continuously flowing, clean water, which is a great convenience

The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from JR Otaru Station. You can pre-book a shuttle service, which runs from 3 PM to 7 PM in the afternoon, and there are also morning shuttles available

They helped with my luggage upon arrival, and provided a check-in service. I booked a room with a private onsen (hot spring bath), which overlooked the canal – the view was amazing! There was also a massage chair

It’s around 13 minutes walk from JR Otaru Station, if you have luggage, just get a taxi to go there, only take around 5 minutes. This hotel is just too cute, a vintage vibe, lovely welcome drinks in classical lobby

My room is for single person, small but it’s fine. Japanese breakfast is amazing. You can have a canal view while you’re having breakfast. They provide free onsen or paid private onsen (2500 yen for 50 minutes)

Service and food was above expectation. Lovely ryokan, really enjoyed the private bath in the room and the breakfast and dinner were amazing quality. Highly recommended and will definitely be back

Honestly, the only drawback is the price. The room was spacious enough, and the elevated location offered fantastic views. Both dinner and breakfast were among the best I've had for a half-board stay!

The views of the room stunning. Yes, this is Japan, so expect raw fish for breakfast but the most delicious. Very very special place, worth visiting any time. Everything will exceed your expectations

The food was delicious, and the large public bath was simply fantastic. Despite being the priciest hotel I've ever stayed at, I definitely felt it was worth every penny.

An excellent experience, even better than Hongleyuan in my opinion. The hot spring views are unbeatable, and the Japanese breakfast and dinner were also very unique.

The staff at Ginrinsou were fabulous and we felt so welcomed to the hotel. The history of the building made it an incredible experience.

Breakfast does not have to be a set, as it is not luxurious, such as frozen grilled rice balls and omelet. Normally, it may be better for travelers to eat a seafood bowl for both morning and lunch somewhere

The view of the sea from the bath was also superb. There was a bedrock bath, two big TVs, cosplay, a stupid bed, and two bottles of Otaru wine as a service, so it was a very satisfying stay

We stayed here for several days when visiting Sapporo and otaru. The staff was great and the room service is well priced and yummy. The tub had lights and jets and a little TV

Our only complaint would be the location. There were not many restaurants in the area and the station was about a 20 minute walk away from the hotel

I didn't eat at the hotel because I ate out for dinner, but I ordered the one that came with my accommodation plan for breakfast

I really love this winkel village! It's just a short walk to Asarigawaonsen Ski Resort for skiing. We can enjoy BBQs even in winter and the private outdoor onsen right outside the room is a huge bonus for my family

You can buy firewood to keep warm at night, the atmosphere is great, and the children had a great time experiencing firewood for the first time. The semi-open-air hot spring is also very comfortable

This is the first time we tried the Onsen in Japan. I was surprised that my girl loves it. The crew will come to replace the Onsen water everyday. The location is good for ski lovers too.

Definitely planning to return! Great value for the money. Note: We took a taxi from Otaru Station to Winkel Village and it cost around 5,000 yen. The price was reasonable too

As for the outdoor hot spring, it is really not cold at all in the sub-zero temperature. After the bath, just put on the bathrobe and rush into the room to take a bath
