I am satisfied with my stay! The room is spacious and has clean toilet. No bathroom as you have to shower in the rather small shared onsen - which I didn’t mind. The kaiseki dinner was plenty and delicious, especially the pork belly potato puree and the kamameshi. The breakfast was just so-so but the dinner made up for it. There is also free ice cream and yukata. The amenities are complete so you can just come with clothes.
It’s behind Yumotokan and with 700yen, you could use their various outdoor onsen but I didn’t. I arrived 6pm at ogotoonsen so I called their shuttle to pick me up from the station.
FYI There is no lift in the hotel for people with big luggages.

Top-up for a5 beef for dinner
Use sister hotel to get to Level 1/ street access (this lobby is level 6 and up a steep hill)

Very great time here, i give it the maximum rate! The people are awesome or particularly kind, the worry about everything for you, shuttle bus to station or from station to hotel, all amenities. The food was absolutely delicious, even tho sometimes it wasn’t at our taste you can see that the products are fresh, carefully selected and very tasty. It had a playing 8ball pool, and a ping-pong table! Very near Biwa Lake. Outstanding view from 11th Floor onsen.
I recommend and wish to come back on our next trip to japan.

Overall it's good, the service is also very good, but the hotel is a bit old, the food quality is average, the best is Omi beef. We each paid an extra 700 yen to go to the hot springs at the Yu-no-kan, but it was inconvenient for the hotel to get there. We had to walk a long way, like a maze, to get to the 11th floor. . . The hot spring on the 5th floor is great, and the one on the 11th floor is also good.

I doubted there was a hot spring until I stayed there.
It was the best hot spring at the end of my trip around Lake Biwa.
I thought the bedding was dirty because it was old.
I was very satisfied with the hot spring and the food.^_^

The hotel services and facilities (if you want to use the soup in Yu Yuan Pavilion, you need to add 700 yen) are great; as soon as you park the car, the service staff will come to guide you to check in. After changing your indoor shoes, you will go to the lounge and watch the whole hotel "Introduction video" is clear at a glance.
It is an old but renovated hot spring resort. There is no elevator, but you can go up to the third floor. The CP value is very high!
The breakfast is very rich and carefully prepared, and you can enjoy authentic and creative kaiseki cuisine.
The only regret is that the meat in the shabu-shabu dinner is not Omi beef! But all the ingredients, colors, flavors and flavors are all present and every dish is worth savoring!
