I am satisfied with my stay! The room is spacious and has clean toilet. No bathroom as you have to shower in the rather small shared onsen - which I didn’t mind. The kaiseki dinner was plenty and delicious, especially the pork belly potato puree and the kamameshi. The breakfast was just so-so but the dinner made up for it. There is also free ice cream and yukata. The amenities are complete so you can just come with clothes.
It’s behind Yumotokan and with 700yen, you could use their various outdoor onsen but I didn’t. I arrived 6pm at ogotoonsen so I called their shuttle to pick me up from the station.
FYI There is no lift in the hotel for people with big luggages.

Use sister hotel to get to Level 1/ street access (this lobby is level 6 and up a steep hill)

Excellent dinner, onsen experience. Breakfast was good as well. Clean room and we got a bigger room as we are a group of 5 traveling by car. It can be a bit hard to find. But if you happen to reach their sister company/building they will direct you. They also provide phamlets in English as guide to their facilities.

The room was great, the hot spring in 湯元館 was amazing and really worth trying, the food including dinner and breakfast was okay. The only defect was it was really hard to communicate with the front desk; there’s a serious language barrier. Also for some reasons the lady that helped us check in only provided the complimentary ticket or service if asked and she seemed to be pretty sick that she kept sneezing without mask on.
All in all, I would recommend the stay.

I must say that Komorebi has to be one of my absolute most favorite parts of my trip to Japan with my wife. We lucked out, catching the shuttle from the train station to Yumotokan, the sister onsen next door you can pay a small fee to use, even offering a private bath we absolutely loved.
The dinners were amazing and the meat we got was almost better than the super expensive wagyu I paid for earlier in the trip.
