Overlooking lake biwa room! From far you could also see the snow mountain ! You can walk around the lake in the morning!

Very good, the room was spacious with a pleasant view from the window. Personally, I felt the breakfast on the 36th floor was better than on the 37th.

Aside from its location by Lake Biwa, this is a very ordinary hotel with basically no service. The air conditioning was uncomfortable, either too cold or too dry. The windows were also dirty, making it hard to see the Lake Biwa scenery clearly.

Didn’t give me highest floor but the design is so cool and it’s the highest building and is very nice and clean and 24 hr check in also have shuttle bus

The lakeside room is incomparable to general street view or building view hotels, giving guests the feeling of exceptional value. It is difficult to find such spacious rooms at the same price in other hotels in Japan. The facilities are clean, and the bathtub space is sufficient, all of which make guests feel comfortable.

This hotel is located right by the lake, offering fantastic views. There's a free shuttle bus to and from the subway station, which makes going out for food and shopping very convenient. It's especially handy if you're driving, as guest parking is free. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Definitely a top choice if you have a car.

This is my second stay at Hotel Forza Kyoto. The location right in Kawaramachi is super convenient for shopping and dining. My first stay, I had a room facing the street which was a bit noisy. This time, I got an inner room which was quiet, but I did miss out on the view.

The room was very clean, and the location was convenient. I loved the self-check-in and check-out options, which are great for introverts. Traveling to Kyoto with my family, choosing to stay here was definitely the right decision. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Kyoto Station, which is incredibly convenient. The room facilities are relatively new. The hotel's 7th-floor courtyard is a nice place for a walk. Rooms facing inward overlook the courtyard, and with the window open, you can hear the sound of flowing water. The red leaves in autumn are absolutely beautiful.

It’s definitely the most remarkable New Year’s Eve experience we ever had, from the city luggage service, shuttle bus to the trail within the hotel. Food wasn’t just good it’s great we will come back and stay longer next time !

One of the better APA hotels we have stayed at. We were originally in a smoking room. But they were able to switch us to a non-smoking room. We were very pleased with the rest of our stay there. Great location all in all and close to everything in the area.

2 nights stay with a toddler. I gave it 3 stars because of its great location, price, and the staff (really helpful and kind). I would’ve rated it less otherwise. The environment is very good. Most of the service staff are Southeast Asians. Their service is not as meticulous as that of the Japanese, but it is also very good.

The hotel is nice. However, the weather was not so good. The hotel is not too far from Kyoto station but not close to any major attractions by walking. The best Marriott experience! The pillows and bedding were incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff noticed we'd bought our own water and thoughtfully added two extra bottles of mineral water to our room. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious! So worth it! I was very pleased with the hotel room design, comfort and space. The parking is first come first serve even though I had requested for it earlier so I had to park elsewhere for the first few nights. Location is excellent. Staff even found my discarded SIM card and were honest to callback and inform me about it.

I chose this hotel because they mentioned to have parking spot however it was very disappointed. Everyday you have to go somewhere else to park and pay a very high fee. The reception is not very helpful and feel very frustrated. The hot spring is dirty and packed with people.

I’ve stayed in Kyoto many times and I just have to say that this is one of the best values you’ll get for your money. I found the facilities to be very well kept and was a nice balance of modern and traditional design elements. Location of the hotel was a short walk over the bridge to the underground Station. Supermarket and bike hire over the road. The room were dark due black walls. Your beds were two mattress put down on a large piece of wood and bed sheets would come loose and mattress can move. Wow! What a wonderful experience at Biwako Grand Hotel. Truly the most relaxing part of my Japan trip, the onsen was very beautiful, with fantastic views. We didn't end up getting a pure lake view, but it was still a beautiful and relaxing experience in the tatami room. Check-in is conveniently done in the hotel room. The staff are professional and welcoming. The overall design of the hotel's public spaces is very comfortable.

The service was good. The first room I was given was a bit smelly, so I changed it to a new room. Then, because I was bothered by the cemetery view room, I was upgraded to a Kamogawa view room for free.

Great, because the hotel made this trip even better!
