A very nice Japanese-style hotel with a beautiful sea view and a very sumptuous dinner.
The actual appearance of the hotel differs greatly from the pictures and descriptions on Trip.com, and the soundproofing in the rooms is very poor.
I only stayed one night, but I would have liked to stay longer if possible!
Tucked away in a quiet corner at the end of a winding and narrow road is this lovely ryokan. We enjoyed the hospitality, the fantastic food, and the serenity of being by the seaside.
The bath was made of wood, so it was wobbly and slippery, which was a little dangerous. Also, there were no amenities, which was disappointing.
The room was on the mountain side, but it was on the parking lot side so it wasn't a problem. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

A house converted into a hotel. Cozy rooms and very friendly staff with options for bicycle and car rentals, and boat tours. Approximately 10 minutes from the city center. I recommend it.
Wonderful place. Family run. Beautiful people and place
Family run accommodation which doesn't feel like commercial hotels. It feels so homely with daily breakfast provided and served with their hearts.
Right behind is a small floating platforms where you'll see baskets of scallops, oysters and also big fishes in nets. I chose this place because of this where I can just go to the back and start fishing with wonderful views all around.
Parking lots are limited...
Definitely one of the best places I have stayed in Japan.
This is, as the name suggests, a petit hotel run by the nicest family. The hotel is literally on the ocean!
We got the amazing balcony room.
The breakfast was the best we had in a hotel in Japan, and it was so full and rich!
They have E-Bikes for rent at an excellent price, and they know everything about the courses and activities around.

This photo shows two beds, so I booked thinking it was a room with two double beds, but it turned out to be a room with one double bed and one sofa bed. I was able to sleep normally, but the sofa bed was hard and short, so it was far from comfortable. The room with two beds was full, so I had no choice but to sleep here. I arrived at night on the day of my reservation, so there was nothing I could...
The location was perfect and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

After reading the reviews, I was intrigued and decided to stay there. I brought my small children with me. They had the baseball board I'd heard about, and the kids played with it the whole time. You were allowed to take the boards back to your room. There were also things you don't usually see, like a putting green and a ping-pong table, so the kids had a lot of fun.
The bath isn't a hot spring, but...
Everyone had said this hotel was shabby and old, so I was pretty nervous about going there. The front desk is certainly very Showa-era. However, there was a small miniature golf club, nostalgic toys, books, and a ping-pong table, which was fun.
The bath was incredibly hot.
But we had it all to ourselves. Luxurious. The food was pretty good, too. Maybe it's not really for kids.
The room was spacious...
We checked in on a Saturday and were told the rooms were fully booked, but there were hardly any people around. Even the restaurant was empty for dinner, which was odd. Tonight's dinner was much better than last night's, which I guess compensated for the room rate. I don't know why hotels are so tight in Kashikojima, so I had to book this one, and it wasn't ideal.
It’s a nice older style ryokan ! It’s not new or new looking ! But the staff were really friendly and the food was so great!!! It felt like I was at a friendly home stay with food taste like an amazing family meal!
The food was sumptuous, and the service and hospitality were excellent.
I want to go again.

The hot water faxility is out off work, they took a reponsibility by waiving all hotel the fee.
The room was spacious and comfortable.
Considering it was old, it was well-cleaned, which was nice.
It had all the basic amenities and was comfortable.
The price was also reasonable, which was nice.
I wish the toilet had a washlet.
It's very close to the station. The room is relatively large. It feels like a mom-and-pop shop. The cleaning is quite clean. Yukata and towels are put in a bag every day and one for each person is placed on the bed.
Although it is a hotel without meals, you can have bread rolls and self-made coffee for free breakfast. Coffee also has iced coffee. The bread is delicious even if you don't put anything on it. I think it's better to take a bath outside.
It looks like an old building, but inside the room, the cloth on the wall seems to have been replaced recently, so it has a bright atmosphere like a kindergarten. There is also a room where you can smoke, which is rare these days, and it is nice to be able to take a break in the room. The bed is a little small, and the free breakfast is just bread and coffee (and no butter or jam). For women, it is...

We stayed here as a family of three in April 2025. 🤗
It cost ¥5000 per adult for one night with breakfast.
Our schedule ran behind that day, so we checked in quite late and arrived in complete darkness.
A man in his 60s, who seemed to be the owner, greeted us at the reception. When we apologized for being late, he quietly replied, "Yes, it's very late," sounding rather displeased. 😓
We were a little...
This was my first time staying at a youth hostel during the Obon holiday, with no elevator and steep stairs, making it difficult to carry my suitcase up the stairs.
The indoor outlet was only about a meter long, so it was difficult to charge my smartphone and use it while charging.
I could hear conversations from the next room.
Toothbrushes are available at the reception desk, but there's a fee...
It's located about 5 minutes away from Spain Village, halfway up a hill on the opposite side of the bay, so it was convenient for visiting the village.
As it's a public lodging, it's more like a training facility, as you can see in the photos.
I visited in winter, so the shower wasn't very strong, the water wasn't very hot, and the bathtub itself was just warm.
For meals, you could have as much rice...

Okay, as someone who actually lives in Spain since about three years now (my nationality is Dutch) this was a very interesting and hilarious experience.
The park kind of does a really cliche exaggerated version of what Japanese people probably think Spain is like. With flamenco dancers on the street, a bullfight in every town and men dressed in traditional Spanish outfits yelling "olé" all day.
Obviously...
Low key, calmer and much better value for money vs Disneyland. Definitely a great place to visit and the kids totally enjoyed it. Less crowded also compared to many places in Japan.
I definitely had fun at this park. It is a mellow and quieter version of Disneyland. I'd rather visit this theme park as it was not so crowded, rides are thrilling, and my favorite, is that there is no queue. You can absolutely take as many rides as you want.
Spain Mura is a hidden gem with some of most enjoyable roller coasters! The best part about this place is that it’s not well known. It seems like the local population know of it but it’s not really know to tourists.
While I was here, I explored the whole park in around an hour then went on all of the rides. Each ride had a wait time of approximately 2 minutes (just waiting for the last group to finish...
This is my second visit, and I'm still satisfied.
Except for the convenience store being very far away and the dinner reservations being fully booked...
I had a quick dinner beforehand, so there were no issues. There was beer in the vending machine, though.
I think it's a great choice for a theme park visit. I highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel. Great amenities
I asked the hotel for a taxi to pick me up, but they refused, probably because they didn't have enough. I was in a pinch, but the hotel shuttle bus took me to the station, which was a relief.
The pillow was too high, which caused discomfort for my neck.
I was worried about the foul smell in the public bath.
I stayed here for one night during a trip to Ise-Shima.
Since I was traveling by train, I used the free shuttle service to Kintetsu Ugata Station. The departure was on time and the service was very courteous.
[Good Points]
① Large public bath (open until midnight, morning bath available from 5am. Free popsicles after bathing, choose from four flavors)
② Ample amenities (POLA lotion, milky lotion,...
Thank you for accommodating us at such short notice!
I also asked for frozen food, which I felt was a bit unfair, but you handled the situation with kindness and I was able to stay comfortably.
I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
Thank you very much.
The shuttle service between Ugata Station and the hotel was very helpful.
I didn't use it this time, but I think it would be convenient to have it transported to and from Shima Spain Village.
The large public bath was also very comfortable!
I was happy that they offered free ice cream after the bath.
I also liked the free coffee.

nice house, complete utilities, and a great environment
I was very satisfied with my stay, but there were some areas where safety precautions were needed if you have small children. The gap between the fence around the entrance was wide and there was a risk of children falling in, and the bathtub was a freestanding type made overseas, so it was quite high and caution was needed.
It was a lovely place and I felt comfortable staying there.
I'd like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
It was also nice that there was a dog run.
Overall rating is almost perfect.
There is a single road in the land surrounded by mountains, and when you pass through it, you will see a stylish cottage-type lobby. After parking the car and checking in, you will drive your car to the front of the room.

The price is cheap, the hygiene is good, and the comfort is better than expected. The disadvantage is that the location is too remote. There is only a convenience store near Kashikojima Kintetsu Station, and it closes at 6 pm, so it is a bit inconvenient.
This was a really nice room in a really nice hotel. I went during a slow time of year so I guess I got a pretty good rate. I got the large sea view room and the views were awesome. If I ever decide to visit the island again I'll be staying at this hotel again.
Location is good, pretty close to JR station, room itself is small and aged, especially the bathroom
Wonderful experience. We had an amazing time. Only nitpick would be that I wish there were more outlets in the room for charging. 6 people in a room with two outlets.
The futon were clean and the pillows very nice. The food was great both at dinner and breakfast. I would recommend the upgraded 🍽️ options. We had a standard and a nicer set and the money was well spent for the upgrade.
The view from the window was beautiful.
The room was also clean and I was able to relax.
The surrounding shops close in the evening, but the hotel kindly provided a car to take us to a recommended restaurant.
This was very helpful given the limited number of trains running.
I'd like to stay here again!
The rooms and the verandas are very spacious and the views are great. I was reminded of the tourist inn style of the past.

This hotel has already seen many years, but it's built in a spectacular location. You can literally feel the sea in your room because the sound of the waves is constantly audible, and the view of the sea is amazing.

Funny story. We pulled up to this place super excited to enjoy the beach the following day. We planned the trip months in advance. It seemed like the front desk was being run by just one person, but I was grateful that they were flexible in addressing discrepancies between what was stated on the website and what was actually happening.
Since I checked in at night, the road just before the hotel was a little scary, but when I walked along it in the daylight the next morning, it wasn't scary at all.
