The spacious parking was a big plus! The room was also very large and relaxing, and I was lucky to get one with a nice view. It was great that the lounge offered free alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and snacks. The only downside was the limited hairdryer space in the women's changing room at the underground public bath, which led to some waiting.
The room was clean, but the windows were rattling and very noisy, and there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom and toilet. I would have been happy if they had done a better job of preventing odors and fixing the rattle of the windows. I'll think twice about staying here again.
Very good for relaxing, the location is perfect for rent a car traveling, The dinner is excellent with variety of food and fantastic alcoholic drinks , as well as breakfast it is very delicious.
I stayed on a weekday. The lobby lounge offered alcohol and snacks, and after my bath, I was treated to Yukimi Daifuku and frozen fruit. It was fun to see so many ways to enjoy the hotel without leaving the room rate. There was a kids' play area (although the batteries in the electric toys, like the merry-go-round and piano, were all dead). The public bath had children's foam soap (although they couldn...
The service of staff could be better.
This hotel offers a free shuttle service to/from Ugata Station. The rooms are comfortable and the service is warm and attentive! The breakfast spread is also extensive. I suggest the hotel post the specific station for the shuttle service on their website so guests know beforehand (we only found out which station to go to for the shuttle after emailing the hotel).

The hotel was great. The location is nice, but the road to get there is time consuming especially with all the curves through the back roads.
The hotel had a pool and a great location, making it feel like an overseas resort! The rooms were spacious and the kids were thrilled! It was great!
The luxury, uplifting feeling, and service were all excellent. I want to go again.
It was a wonderful resort. You can choose between Western and Japanese breakfast. I chose the Western option and enjoyed the bread, smoothies, and other delicious dishes.
This time I stayed in a villa-type room, and the interior was very beautiful and the view from the room was great. I would like to stay here again.
The room and facilities were clean and nice. Breakfast was a little late, which was a bit of a problem, but the food was delicious and enjoyable. The shuttle bus from Kashikojima Station was on time and very good.

Okay, as someone who actually lives in Spain since about three years now (my nationality is Dutch) this was a very interesting and hilarious experience. The park kind of does a really cliche exaggerated version of what Japanese people probably think Spain is like. With flamenco dancers on the street, a bullfight in every town and men dressed in traditional Spanish outfits yelling "olé" all day. Obviously...
Low key, calmer and much better value for money vs Disneyland. Definitely a great place to visit and the kids totally enjoyed it. Less crowded also compared to many places in Japan.
I definitely had fun at this park. It is a mellow and quieter version of Disneyland. I'd rather visit this theme park as it was not so crowded, rides are thrilling, and my favorite, is that there is no queue. You can absolutely take as many rides as you want.
Spain Mura is a hidden gem with some of most enjoyable roller coasters! The best part about this place is that it’s not well known. It seems like the local population know of it but it’s not really know to tourists. While I was here, I explored the whole park in around an hour then went on all of the rides. Each ride had a wait time of approximately 2 minutes (just waiting for the last group to finish...
This is my second visit, and I'm still satisfied. Except for the convenience store being very far away and the dinner reservations being fully booked... I had a quick dinner beforehand, so there were no issues. There was beer in the vending machine, though. I think it's a great choice for a theme park visit. I highly recommend it.
After having fun at Parque Espana, you can refresh yourself in the Sunflower Baths.

The staff is very friendly, excellent service, thank you🥰
This is a very elegant and tranquil hotel. We had French cuisine, and it was absolutely delicious. I would love to visit again.
Clean room. Green garden. Good staff. Excellent service. Great hotel.
First-class service, making you feel at home everywhere. From 19:00 to 22:00, in the comfortable environment on the second floor, you can enjoy snacks, drinks and cocktails. The breakfast is quite exquisite, and the tableware and furnishings are very exquisite. There are Western and Japanese options. People can't help but be in France, looking out the window elegantly and enjoying delicious meals
I booked the plan that included breakfast. It far exceeded my expectations, and everything I ate was delicious. The lounge was comfortable and had a great view, and the hotel-sponsored tour of the hotel was very enjoyable. I was able to learn about the hotel's history, and it was more than worth the price. I would like to come back with my whole family next time.
The location is excellent, very close to Kashikojima Station, the hotel has a shuttle bus, and the service attitude is very good. The lounge is open from morning to night, and you can go to the Bay Suites Hotel next door for dinner. The French food is great!

Very nice hotel. Great amenities
I asked the hotel for a taxi to pick me up, but they refused, probably because they didn't have enough. I was in a pinch, but the hotel shuttle bus took me to the station, which was a relief. The pillow was too high, which caused discomfort for my neck. I was worried about the foul smell in the public bath.
I stayed here for one night during a trip to Ise-Shima. Since I was traveling by train, I used the free shuttle service to Kintetsu Ugata Station. The departure was on time and the service was very courteous. [Good Points] ① Large public bath (open until midnight, morning bath available from 5am. Free popsicles after bathing, choose from four flavors) ② Ample amenities (POLA lotion, milky lotion,...
Thank you for accommodating us at such short notice! I also asked for frozen food, which I felt was a bit unfair, but you handled the situation with kindness and I was able to stay comfortably. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
The shuttle service between Ugata Station and the hotel was very helpful. I didn't use it this time, but I think it would be convenient to have it transported to and from Shima Spain Village. The large public bath was also very comfortable! I was happy that they offered free ice cream after the bath. I also liked the free coffee.

This is a traditional, large-scale hot spring ryokan. I've been to many hot spring ryokans, and most of them felt deserted with few staff and many foreign guests. However, this ryokan had plenty of staff, and they were very attentive with both greetings and farewells. The baths were spacious, and the changing rooms were cleaned frequently. The unlimited use of bath towels was a fantastic service for...
We had a truly wonderful stay at Kashikojima Hojoen. The Japanese-style hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, and the dinner was absolutely fantastic — a full Japanese-style meal experience that was both refined and satisfying. The facilities are reasonably maintained, and the highlight for us was the outdoor onsen — incredibly relaxing...
I enjoyed my stay, particularly the room and bath with views of Arakawa Bay.
The view from the inn was amazing. The quality of the hot spring was also excellent. Dinner was lavish and delicious. However, although there was a description of the dishes on the table, they weren't brought out in the correct order towards the end, which was disappointing as I didn't know what I was eating and it took half the enjoyment out of the meal. I also noticed the staff tidying up around...
The hotel was spacious, and the staff were friendly. The Japanese-style room was clean, tastefully decorated, and offered a beautiful view of the ocean. The onsen facilities were excellent—especially the outdoor bath, which provided a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

It was a wonderful place. The beautiful sea, white sand, sky, and stars in the night sky were a storm of emotions. The room was spacious and clean, with full glass windows, so if you time it right, you can see the beautiful sunset from your room. The large public bath was a little far, but the hot spring was great. I would definitely like to stay again.
Nice Great food Nice view Loved it, except for one thing, tattoos are not allowed in Onsens.
The location is great. Unfortunately, the filter for the air purifier in the room was full of mold, so I had it replaced, but it was still full of mold.
We stayed here as a group of four, including three adult friends and one four-year-old child. The pool can be used until 6pm on the same day and from 10am to 2pm the following day for an additional fee, and there was a jet relaxation corner in the indoor heated pool, so it was very refreshing. The hot spring afterwards was free and fun.

There are so many things to do in this resort that you will not feel bored and just stay in the room. To name a few, they have a golf course, a marina, a tennis court, yoga area, stargazing at night, and bonfire at night where you can roast marshmallows, have tea or coffee.
The Nemu Resort Hotel is a great quiet place to be secluded from the ruckus of a major city. Lovely place just to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
The large window in the room overlooked the bay, and the sunset was the best view! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with seafood in abundance. We roasted marshmallows in the lounge, played table tennis, and enjoyed morning yoga, so we had plenty of activities to enjoy. As the reviews said, it wasn't a new building, but it was clean. The bath was also cleaned regularly by the staff, which was nice. The sunset cruise, which was an activity I booked, was also wonderful. I'm glad the weather was nice.
A standard resort hotel with large rooms and great scenery. It has some nice entertainment options. You can rent a car to explore the area and there is a bus station pick-up. It is very cost-effective.
Very satisfied with the room. This stay was great! The room was clean and cozy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and they also helped to upgrade the room type for free. The good impression was full!

1st class service. The staff are all absolutely wonderful; so kind and so helpful. 1st class hotel room with private onsen. 1st class food (breakfast and dinner) that rivals some 2-3 star Michelin restaurants in London. Incredible 2 nights stay - so peaceful and relaxing. A bit of the beaten path but can wholeheartedly recommend this superb Onsen resort.
A perfect resort hotel can only be truly appreciated by experiencing it firsthand. So perfect I almost don't want to share it, hehe.
Excellent service and food. This is a hidden gem. Before I had even arrived with my family Hikari the concierge had been assisting me with transport, tour guides, luggage concierge. The service in this hotel is beyond excellent. They help with everything. The hotel is clean, the food is exceptional a mixture of Japanese and French. I have two feelings about this stay. 1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to...
If I have time, I go to Kashikojima~ Since last year, Hiramatsu has been my only choice for Kashikojima. I don't usually eat French food, so I enjoy the excellent seafood here. It's really delicious. It may seem like the focus is on the food, but the comfort of the room and the amenities are almost perfect. I prefer rooms without open-air baths, so I go for the private open-air bath. nice house, complete utilities, and a great environment
I was very satisfied with my stay, but there were some areas where safety precautions were needed if you have small children. The gap between the fence around the entrance was wide and there was a risk of children falling in, and the bathtub was a freestanding type made overseas, so it was quite high and caution was needed.
It was a lovely place and I felt comfortable staying there. I'd like to use it again if I have the opportunity. It was also nice that there was a dog run.
Overall rating is almost perfect. There is a single road in the land surrounded by mountains, and when you pass through it, you will see a stylish cottage-type lobby. After parking the car and checking in, you will drive your car to the front of the room. The first road is only wide enough for one car, so we recommend driving with extreme caution! The room is very spacious and extremely clean. There...
We stayed here without meals. The log house in the forest had a nice atmosphere, and the inside was very clean, spacious, and lovely. The bed was also spacious and we were able to sleep comfortably. The price is cheap, the hygiene is good, and the comfort is better than expected. The disadvantage is that the location is too remote. There is only a convenience store near Kashikojima Kintetsu Station, and it closes at 6 pm, so it is a bit inconvenient.
This was a really nice room in a really nice hotel. I went during a slow time of year so I guess I got a pretty good rate. I got the large sea view room and the views were awesome. If I ever decide to visit the island again I'll be staying at this hotel again.
Location is good, pretty close to JR station, room itself is small and aged, especially the bathroom
Wonderful experience. We had an amazing time. Only nitpick would be that I wish there were more outlets in the room for charging. 6 people in a room with two outlets. The futon were clean and the pillows very nice. The food was great both at dinner and breakfast. I would recommend the upgraded 🍽️ options. We had a standard and a nicer set and the money was well spent for the upgrade.
The view from the window was beautiful. The room was also clean and I was able to relax. The surrounding shops close in the evening, but the hotel kindly provided a car to take us to a recommended restaurant. This was very helpful given the limited number of trains running. I'd like to stay here again!
The rooms and the verandas are very spacious and the views are great. I was reminded of the tourist inn style of the past.

It is immaculate in every way: the staff is super polite, the rooms are superb - there are Yumatas provided for dinner and breakfast and for the use within the hotel so that you don‘t have to break the style wirh western clothing. We stayed in the Sky Tower. The Akari and Sora buildings are the cheapest standard rooms. The rooms themselves appear to be the same size, but the Sora room uses more space for the open-air bath, while the Akari room seems to have made the open-air bath space smaller and made the room larger. Even though it was a Sky Tower, the room was spacious and the hot spring was comfortable, making it a fantastic...
"Teisho" seems to mean "shore" or "water's edge," and "basara" means "a lavishly decorated appearance." This inn was a wonderful, "beautifully decorated" inn, located on the tranquil shore of Ago Bay. This hotel has already seen many years, but it's built in a spectacular location. You can literally feel the sea in your room because the sound of the waves is constantly audible, and the view of the sea is amazing. Funny story. We pulled up to this place super excited to enjoy the beach the following day. We planned the trip months in advance. I was able to sleep normally, but the sofa bed was hard and short, so it was far from comfortable. The room with two beds was full, so I had no choice but to sleep here. I arrived at night on the day of my reservation, so there was nothing I could...
The location was perfect and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

After reading the reviews, I was intrigued and decided to stay there. I brought my small children with me. They had the baseball board I'd heard about, and the kids played with it the whole time. Everyone had said this hotel was shabby and old, so I was pretty nervous about going there. The front desk is certainly very Showa-era. However, there was a small miniature golf club, nostalgic toys, books, and a ping-pong table, which was fun. The bath was incredibly hot. But we had it all to ourselves. Luxurious. We checked in on a Saturday and were told the rooms were fully booked, but there were hardly any people around. Even the restaurant was empty for dinner, which was odd. Tonight's dinner was much better than last night's, which I guess compensated for the room rate. I don't know why hotels are so tight in Kashikojima, so I had to book this one, and it wasn't ideal.
It’s a nice older style ryokan ! It’s not new or new looking ! But the staff were really friendly and the food was so great!!! It felt like I was at a friendly home stay with food taste like an amazing family meal!
The food was sumptuous, and the service and hospitality were excellent. I want to go again.
