It appears to have been renovated from a former apartment building.

It's friendly and self-catering, so it might not be suitable for people who are used to hotels with all the amenities they can offer.

There is a convenience store, izakaya, and ramen shop within walking distance.

The building is old, but it is kept very clean.

Non-smokers might find it a bit tidy.

It's an old apartment building door.

The mailbox is a nice touch.

The common areas are dark at night and security is a concern, so I'm not sure if it's a good option for a woman staying alone.

People will probably like it or hate it.

I hope it continues to do well as a roadside business inn.

I use this when I can't find a place to stay in Oarai. Is a car necessary? You can go out late at night freely.

I stayed one night in a Western-style room because I had business in Nakaminato. I appreciate the hospitality despite the last-minute booking.

This is purely my personal opinion… and it might only apply to the room I stayed in, but please take it as a reference.

• There were several drawbacks, but the most bothersome was the smell. From the front desk to the room, there was a general musty smell. The bed was particularly bad, and I had trouble sleeping. It should have been laundered, though…

• The sound and vibration from passing cars were quite noticeable.

• There is free Wi-Fi, but the signal was a bit weak.

• Depending on your preference, the bed is on the lower side. The comforter was nice and fluffy, though.

• I was a little excited that the room wear was a yukata (Japanese-style robe).

• There is no elevator, so it might be difficult to go with a lot of luggage.

• The Tabist website's promotional photos show an electric kettle, but there was a regular teapot instead. Perhaps other rooms have them…? There is a small kitchenette in the room, so it is usable.

- The bathroom door doesn't close properly. The doorknob seems to be broken. The bathroom only had rinse-in shampoo, body soap, and a toothbrush set... I think? I don't think there was a razor or brush (I'm not entirely sure). Also, the lack of hand soap was striking.

- The hairdryer is smaller than normal. It had a miniature feel to it, which was kind of funny.

- The bath and sink are in the same room, but the toilet is separate. However, the sink in the toilet seemed broken, and no water came out.

It felt more like a guesthouse than a hotel. Overall, if you approach it with the mindset of "that kind of attraction," you can enjoy it, but even then, the smell was the most noticeable thing about the hotel. As others have mentioned, I wouldn't recommend it for a woman traveling alone. Also, I think couples should avoid it. It's a business hotel, but the atmosphere isn't really suited for couples.

I stayed here for a week for work. It's a spacious one-room apartment (unit bath, private toilet, balcony) equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, chair, and small desk. The mini kitchen is gas-fired and comes with a small kettle, coffee cups, towels, toothbrushes, razors, and shampoo. There is some vibration from large trucks passing by. Supermarkets, convenience stores, bars, and drugstores are just within walking distance. For self-sufficient travelers or those staying for work, this price is perfect. However, due to the large companies in the area, there is heavy traffic on the way to and from work.

It looks good in photos, but in person it's covered in dirt and the hallways are pitch black.

It's a rule to leave your room key at the front desk when you go out, but room service forgot to lock the door on several occasions.

This is the first time I've ever experienced a hotel where someone forgot to lock the door.

I couldn't help but feel uneasy about leaving the room.

Also, there was sometimes a strong sewage smell rising from the room, which was unpleasant.

Some of the amenities in the room were broken, but the staff acted as if it was normal. No apology was even made.

Women should definitely avoid staying here alone.

I stayed for a week at work. Although it is a small business hotel with a retro feel, the room is large and air-conditioned. The TV has a 32-inch LCD, the toilet has a washlet, and the bath has a large bathtub with a shower, so you can spend your time comfortably. Morning and evening meals are usually delicious. Above all, I'm glad that my aunt's personality was good and I felt at home! I hope I have another chance!

Grandma, I said I could check out late, but when I checked again, I was told that I wouldn't do that with my palm. I'm glad I didn't stay. Is dementia progressing?

Natto for breakfast, the expiration date has passed, and it's usually put out!! ️
Rice is also leftovers from the evening.

We think that it is appropriate for business hotel.
Better for the long term! !
Food is nearby and there is a convenience store, but if you can't walk for about 10 minutes, it might be tough.
Also, if you are nervous and want a service, you can go to the Royal Hotel with money.
Is the parking lot a little narrow?

The bed sheet of the room is changed only once a week.
The meal is the worst. Continue until the rice smells. If it gets worse, make sushi with vinegared rice for breakfast ...
The number of items is small and it is not delicious.
On the end of the day, I oversleeped and had no meal ... (laughs)
If you are staying, we recommend staying overnight.
