Richmond Hotel Asakusa in Tokyo

Our stay was so nice. The room is very comfortable and we can easily request for room cleaning. It is also spacious for couples and solo travel. The location is good and very near to some food stalls, temples and malls.

The location is great. Walking distance to most of the station (Asakusa Station , Ginza Station) and basically just next to the major temple in Japan.

Worth the choice, with provided sufficient amenities.

Super convenient location. Room is clean and neat. Staffs are very nice and welcoming.

- located in the middle of asakusa , right by sensoji , opp a uniqlo and donki. many many food options right outside the hotel
- nearest subway is asakusa station on tsukuba express line (2-3 min walk)
- other not so near stations r tawaramachi station on ginza line (11min walk) & asakusa station on asakusa line (13 min walk)
- direct train to Narita via the asakusa line but will need to haul your luggage through the busy streets of asakusa hahaha

the room
- it’s bigger than most japanese hotels for the price and location.. (I paid around 67,000yen for a basic double room for 4 nights in feb). I can comfortably open 1 large suitcase and 1 small one.
- the room itself is very clean
- housekeeping can be requested too
- BUT the toilet has a damp smell. which sometimes can be smelt in the room when there’s no airflow.
- there’s also a lot of condensation in the winter. stuff left on the window ledge all got wet. don’t put ur things on the window ledge 😔😔

the washing machine
- paid 500 yen to use the washer and dryer…. do not recommend. all my clothes came out damp and smelly.. paid additional to have it dry again.. but still smelly lolol

overall for price and location this is still a very worth it hotel hahaha

The location is fantastic, with plenty of shopping nearby like Uniqlo, GU, Muji, Daiso, and Don Quijote, all great places to browse. There are also many restaurants, and the cream puffs at the matcha shop at the end of the street are delicious. Senso-ji Temple is also just at the end of the road. The service was excellent too.

The hotel is right in the heart of the Asakusa Senso-ji commercial street, directly opposite UNIQLO, Don Quijote (open 24 hours), and Ichiran Ramen. From the room, you can see Senso-ji Temple and the Tokyo Skytree. At night, you can watch the illuminations directly from your room. The best part about staying here is being able to explore in the mornings and evenings when there are absolutely no crowds. There are also many small, atmospheric roadside stalls nearby that serve late-night snacks and drinks. For Narita Airport, there's a direct express line, so no transfers needed.

I must say that my stay was quite pleasant, and the staff were exceptionally helpful.
The room was very quiet and clean.

It was located in the best place. Easy access to the Asakusa temple and station. It was a bit confusing because there was another hotel with the same name right next to it. It was Richmond Premium and Richmond Hotel (maybe they are the sisters)

It is recommended staying in this hotel when travelling with daily packed itineraries for fun. It is definitely a place to unwind your pressure. It provides bath salt & toiletry free of charge. In guest room, dehumidifier is installed each room that it really helps dry your clothes or stabilise the room humidity. Though the hotel won’t give away the water bottle to guests, it is environmentally friendly that you can fill up your own water bottle. Free non alcohol drinks is available for all guests. For entertainment, Netflix and Disney plus and YouTube app has been installed into smart TV.

Most importantly, their cleanliness and guest customer services are in high standard and top-notched. It makes me comfortable and a happy trip

Conveniently located. It’s a good business hotel ! I recommend as I’m hardly in the room. I needed a cost efficient hotel to be near the Jr Tokyo station. For the price I paid , can’t complain !
