Landabout Hotel in Tokyo

Great place to stay! I loved it, it was very clean and convenient for getting around.

Overall good location, cleanliness but the room is too compact to open two luggage at the same time.

This hotel is in an excellent location, making it super convenient to get around. The restaurant is on the first floor, the front desk is on the second, and the guest rooms are upstairs. The room I booked had a balcony with a direct view of Tokyo Tower.

Facilities: The room, though not large, was new and clean. It was very comfortable for two people, not cramped, and allowed for easy opening of a 24-inch suitcase. The individual wall-mounted air conditioning unit was a big plus! The rooftop terrace was nicely decorated and offered a distant view of the Tokyo Skytree.

Cleanliness: There were no obvious stains, and the bedding was clean and bug-free.

Environment: It's very close to Uguisudani Station, just a two-minute walk from the exit. You can also walk to Ueno Park. The hotel is a standalone building facing the street. Usually, traffic noise isn't loud at all, but you might occasionally be woken up by a fire truck siren – it's a matter of luck. Our room faced a side shrine, which was quite good, but I imagine rooms with balconies facing inward would be even quieter.

Service: The front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a semi-buffet Western style, with choices of whole-wheat toast or buttered rice as the main dish. While the self-service options weren't extensive, everything was very fresh, and items like yogurt were homemade and on the healthier side.

Convenient location, and despite its small size, the hotel has everything you need.

A beautifully designed, modern and stylish hotel with a great interior. The rooms are very small, but fine for a couple of nights. Location is a bit away from the center, yet only a 5-minute walk to the JR, so you can get anywhere easily. Overall, really enjoyed the stay!

The location is excellent, with both the National Museum and Ueno Park within easy walking distance. It's also very close to the subway station. The hotel facilities are modern and spotless, ensuring a comfortable stay. The cleaning team consisted entirely of Southeast Asian staff. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s location was perfect — close to major attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night.

Overall, I had a truly wonderful experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, service, and quality. Five stars!
