Super loved this room ! it faces the sea and the view is absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. The room was spacious and clean, and the service was friendly. A really lovely stay!

The staff are very friendly and polite. My low mark for service is because coffee and food are unavailable on site after 9a and EVERYTHING--the restaurant/cafe, shop, and even the on-site onsen--is closed until 3p! This inconvenience is magnified by the fact that in this sleepy locale, nearby businesses where one might get food or coffee during the 5-hour dead time are only sporadically open themselves.
The room (tatami ocean view) was spacious and comfortable EXCEPT for the sleeping pads, which are very thin and offer next to no padding. The pillows are also like rocks, so we were very happy to have our own travel pillows with us.
Finally, as their website is silent on the issue, it is worth noting that the on-site onsen is NOT TATTOO-FRIENDLY. My husband was able to enjoy the beautiful facility; I was not. Fortunately, there are tattoo-friendly onsen nearby, within 5-7 minutes walk. That said, had I known of their policy ahead of time, we would have stayed elsewhere.
There are 2 small electric bikes for rent. We enjoyed those for an afternoon.
Finally, visiting the bar downstairs (open 8p-12a) is a must. The bartender is an absolute pleasure and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there.

It was located further out of the Ibusuki hot spring area than I thought, but if you time it right, it was a 5-minute bus ride or taxi ride from the station, so it wasn't too inconvenient. The guest room was spacious and spacious enough for a single person. The large bath and breakfast restaurant were well-equipped, and the breakfast menu had a variety of menus and was delicious.

A very cost-effective experience. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and the breakfast is great! The hotel's hot springs and services are very good. The key is that it is not far from the station. But now it is off-season and the whole town is deserted.

The welcome drink, mini concert, and location were all great.
Dinner and breakfast were delicious ☺️ I'd love to go again.

What we liked about this place:
1. Old style traditional room with tatami beds. Beautiful view of the sea from our room.
2. Interesting sand onsen which was a real treat for a foreigner like myself.
3. A beautifully laid out set dinner for us. Enjoyed it tremendously.
4. Staff provided very good service.
5. Small gestures eg free ice cream after an onsen session is much appreciated.

Some things to take into consideration:
1. It’s a nice three-star hotel but not expect four star facilities.
2. No kettle in the room but hot water was provided in a thermos jug.
3. My bathroom was quite ancient looking but everything's works.
4. The tatami bed experience was good but even I (not too old) found it difficult to stand up from the tatami on the floor. I would be very concerned for the older folks.

rather old hotel. we came during the low season so not so crowded but most restaurants outside the hotel were closed for business. there is only one onsen pool indoor (no outdoor). the fun part was the sand bath for experience @¥1500/pax. Ocean facing room is nice.

Of course the hotel is rather old but everything here is very decent - the room is enormous; hot water works well; the staff is very helpful. Given the price I truly appreciate. Give the location it is not close to the station but it is perfectly fine.
