Eco Village Iriomote in Iriomote

This accommodation boasts a fantastic location, with rooms that face the beach and overlook the sea. While small, it also features a swimming pool, which is a nice bonus for cooling off.
Iriomote Island is known for its unpredictable weather, but when the skies clear, it offers a great opportunity to observe the incredible number of stars. Take advantage of any break in the clouds for a truly spectacular view.
For dinner, you have the option to enjoy a delicious BBQ (yakiniku) if you select the meal package. Breakfast is excellent, featuring carefully prepared dishes like fresh salads and other well-made items. A notable characteristic of the staff is the presence of non-Japanese workers, likely from Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam, who live on-site and work very diligently and devotedly. Their commitment ensures a pleasant dining experience.

In particular the Dinner was fantastic

We enjoyed the great service, the fantastic food, and the seclusion. The kindness and hospitality we received was genuine. I would highly recommend.
As far as traveling around the island for the sights and exploration, I’d suggest renting any form of transportation.

Only downside is location that's why 4 stars and not 5. Iriomote is a big island and for this accomodation you need to rent a car as public transport isn't great. Service is great and they supported us in absolutely everything we needed specially not speaking the language. The rooms are according to price and the food is fantastic either breakfast or dinner.

The location facing the sea is good. There are no buildings around and it is quiet. Although it is a remote island, the quality of the food is guaranteed.

Above all, the location is great, the view is amazing, and the food is made with local ingredients, which is great. I want to go again.

I would give 10 starts for the service if possible. I have no words to express how helpful the service was. The food was delicious: typical Japanese breakfast and a 5 course dinner proper from a renown chef’s restaurants. The rooms are clean and the view is incredible. 10/10

We spent one week in a beautiful villa here and we couldn't be happier with our stay. The villa was spotless and spacious. The location is fantastic and the resort is well kept, with a beautiful pool.
We ate in the restaurant most nights and the food was always excellent.

But as always, it's the staff who really makes the experience. The staff were always polite, helpful, friendly and very flexible. Thank you, we'll be back soon!

The location, the people, the food, the room, everything was satisfactory and I enjoyed it very much. The sunrise was so beautiful that I watched it while swimming every morning. The pool and the beach were right in front of the room. Because it is located in the middle of nature, you need to rent a car to do activities outside of the hotel. I recommend that you plan what you want to do in advance before visiting. If you want to join a tour, you have to rent a car to get to the meeting point by yourself, so it is better to arrange a rental car in advance. The staff were kind and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Thank you very much. I will visit again someday.
