Because a state of emergency was declared, the cocktail time available to gold members was non-alcoholic, but we enjoyed the one-plate hors d'oeuvres
An average resort hotel. It's very close to the US military base, so it can be noisy if there are flight training exercises.
Still a big fan of Hilton. Great location and excellent service, especially from the front desk staff. A huge thank you to Ctrip for relaying my requests to the hotel in advance.
So happy I could watch the fireworks right from my room's balcony! It's perfect for a relaxing getaway. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Okinawa.
The location is superb: just a 3-minute walk to American Village, 2 minutes to the seaside, and a 5-minute stroll to the beach
In the evenings, you can go beachcombing, and at dusk, enjoy beautiful sunsets from the aptly named Sunset Beach

The hotel is located in Kirishima, making it convenient to drive to Kagoshima and Sakurajima. The lobby has a great design, the room was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive
The hot water was the most comfortable. If you complain, it is difficult to understand how to get to the public bath. It is difficult to understand how to get to the room you are staying in
the main building lobby is very good, buffet dinner is good, even gets free parking,
First, we loved the onsen and its services, where we soaked in three pools of different temperatures, sweated in a sauna, then alternately cooled ourselves in cold baths
Second, room services were excellent despite its furnishings seemed to be run down a bit. Third, its location is central to travel most places of interest, which spreads out in Kagoshima Prefecture
clean and spacious rooms, nice and friendly staff, lovely onsen onsite, free easy parking, will come back again.

Rooms and location are great; swimming pool not being available to children is a bit of a minus. Very negative experience with the staff at the reception: Booked a room for 2 adults + 1 child
we have an excellent stay here from May 3 to 9, 2026 with my family. The hotel location was great and bfast was excellent.
Everythibg is worth it. For sure will be back again here.
thank you so much hotel okara fukuokq
Hotel is very clean and staffs from front desk were very friendly
Its just beside the mall amd no worries on finding food!
The parking was shared with a mall and charged at reasonable price of 2000yen daily
Happy to stay here!
The cleanliness is excellent, and the staff are very enthusiastic. The facilities are well-maintained. The cleanliness, service, and maintenance all reflect the high standards of a long-standing Japanese chain hotel
The hotel has a gym, sauna, and swimming pool — entry requires an additional fee, but the pricing is reasonable. We came to celebrate my dad’s birthday
Really nice staff and very good place to visit. The hotel is connected to the Nakasu-Kawabata which is really convenient to travel in the city to Tenjin or Hakata.

I booked a tatami room for three nights almost a month in advance. The hotel is very clean, and towels and yukatas are changed daily. The breakfast set menu is simple
The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but it definitely doesn't affect the overall experience. I absolutely loved the onsen baths here; there are multiple indoor and outdoor baths with various temperatures
The hotel is clean, but the facilities are a bit old. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs. There are two restaurants inside the hotel, and a ramen shop across the street also serves food
Suitable for families with parents; the rooms are spacious, and although the location is a bit out of the way, there's free short-distance parking available, so it's not a problem
There's a free shuttle bus at Saga Station exit, with temporary parking next to the Comfort Hotel. See the picture for the specific times; it's very convenient for getting around
It's about a 15-minute bus ride from the train station

You have to go to the counter to exchange for new towels when there are people at the counter (15-22)
The room was just OK for cleanliness and modernization, however the large, deep tub made up for any other oddness, such as wires coming directly from a rough hole punched in the wall for this purpose
The cleanliness of the room is acceptable, there is a little blood stain on the quilt, the bathroom floor has poor drainage, water will accumulate after taking a shower, it may be so, the bathroom floor is slippery, and the quick cooker is very
Oily, the frosting in the refrigerator is very thick, but the price is cheap
It is very close to Naminoue Palace, and there are indeed many custom shops nearby. If you are alone, it is not recommended to stay here. If you can accommodate the price, you can consider it
Both the room and the toilet are big. If you stay for three nights in a row, there will be no housekeeping to clean the room
Room is big but not clean enough

The hot spring facility, which is frequented by many locals, was also great. The toilet in the room didn't have a washlet, which was a bit of a problem for me as I tend to get stomachaches
Everything was very good.
However, I wish the hotel would pay attention to the loud noises of the drunk people in the room across the street
until 11pm for two days.
I stayed at the hotel with a one-night stay and two-meals plan. The facilities are old, but the staff are energetic and hospitable, and it was a comfortable stay
Good price for a hotel. The onsen is also good. We got the breakfast option, which was also delicious
Two downsides; we didnt have the option to pick smoking or non-smoking rooms (and wound up in a room where the smell was strong), and we couldnt boil water in the room, as boiling water is only available in teapots from the restaurant
However, the attractive hot springs and dining area make up for all those shortcomings. This time I ordered à la carte rather than dinner. The hot springs are also fantastic, with water directly from the source

The room is big and clean, but the only downside is that the public bath is not so clean
The staff are polite and the service is good. The environment outside the garden is good. The Japanese-style room is also clean, tidy and well-equipped. Only there is no hot water for taking a shower in the morning
The hotel's decor is somewhat dated. The owner is a kind elderly lady who provides attentive and warm service. The hotel features a large natural hot spring bath, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable
If you want to eat in the evening, you have to go out. The corridor should be undecorated and dusty. But overall, it is a B&B with a separate toilet, and the price/performance ratio is pretty good
While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, it's meticulously prepared and tastes quite good. In terms of location, the hotel is a bit far from the sand bath onsen
The location can also be reached by walking for 10 minutes from Ibusuki Station or by taking a taxi for 3 minutes

No matter how many times I go, I have lots of fun memories. But now I'm avoiding going out and weighting myself. I wonder if Corona will converge soon, no, it will end
This was a last-minute trip for us as couples, and it's been a while since we last stayed here. We were able to relax in a quiet environment
We took a cable car to Tenku no Yu, where we enjoyed our open-air bath with a spectacular view. The indoor bath in our room was also very spacious, and by opening the window we could feel like we were in an open-air bath
I was drawn to the private observation bath and cable car. I enjoyed a long soak in the slightly warm hot spring while admiring the magnificent view from high up! It was fantastic
A kitten came onto the terrace, so I played with it for a bit, and when I asked the staff, they surprised me by saying it wasn't a pet but a stray!
I was also given a chocolate croissant on my way out, which was delicious
The food and room interior also created a nice atmosphere, and the best part was the quiet space and time where I could relax, far from the hustle and bustle of the city

Excellent service. Amazing view overseeing coastline and Fukuoka Tower.
Distance from city centre but highly recommended if drive.
Due to the language barrier, I couldn't get a clear explanation. ⑥ The room lighting was dim and very uncomfortable. However, the hotel's location is indeed excellent, with full sea views and convenient transportation
④ The room facilities were not as good as those in a decent business hotel back home (China). ⑤ The hotel policy stated free parking when I booked, but I was charged 2000 yen per day at check-out
② There was a lack of substantial dishes; only one salmon dish could be considered so, but it tasted really bad. ③ Almost all the dishes were unappetizing
However, when it came to breakfast, I was truly disappointed and felt quite let down:
① The coffee was the worst I've had in any hotel in Japan
The experience might be better if staying in the summer

This is one of the best Marriott hotels I have been staying. The view outside the hotel room window was astonishing. The selection of the buffet breakfast was massive and the food was so delicious
Corner suite has beautiful view. Not like other Japanese hotel, very roomy. Food is also very good.
Onsen is also beautiful.
Parking is free, room is huge, service is awesome, there are shops selling stuff at basement, onsen is superb, water pressure for shower is strong. There are indoor swimming pool
I've stayed there 3 times (in September )and have had an excellent experience every time. My only complaint is that the pool has never been open at night. When it was open during the day it was crowded with kids
It would be great to have a separate adults-only pool, with drinks, open into the evening. That would make for a true resort experience
The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained! The room is big and the ocean & pine trees forest view was simply awesome 👍! Another plus point was their out door Onsen with the pine trees view was fantastic!!

We like service and staff in Hotel. Cleaning room is perfect, swimming pool and hot spring are always clean
The hotel was very clean, and the stay was comfortable, with excellent service. However, the hot spring was really dirty, with all sorts of suspended particles. It was obvious the circulation system wasn't working well.
In its lobby there is a Familymart so and a souvenir store so overall it’s a convenient place!
Didn’t get a chance to really explore its amenities as I’m out most of the days, but I would recommend for its price!
The Grand Hotel offers decent value for money, though it's a bit on the expensive side. The room rates are pretty good, all things considered

The hotel pool facilities are great, and the big waterslide is really exciting. The daily all-you-can-drink Okinawan draft beer is also a big plus
Spacious room and facilities, tip: rmb to check in sharp at 1pm and try all their free and discounted water activities, the boomerang slide is a must try if you like water parks! Free cocktail/beer from 2pm to 11pm in two different sessions, and their Japanese-French style breakfast bar is prob one of the best breakfast buffet I've seen, even butter they have 3 types for you to choose from, free flow...
However, they do have different pool areas, including an adult-only pool where kids are not allowed. That was a great option when we wanted to relax and enjoy some quiet time
Overall, we really enjoyed the pools and had a fun, relaxing stay
Wonderful time at Grand Mercure. Hotel are spacious, fit in four beds , breakfast are nice and from noon time serve welcome drink till dark. Beautiful sea view from the room. Enjoyable to stay in this hotel with family.

We did find the opening times of the pools a bit odd and the lack of affordable food options at the resort a challenge, but with a car, there's plenty of good food options nearby
The outdoor pools are very nice but beware of the short opening hours.
The environment is great, the hotel facilities are complete, the service is thoughtful and enthusiastic, and there is a rich variety of dining options. Several restaurants require advance reservations.
The area around here is quite deserted, so I wouldn't recommend going out at night. There are also many other activities. I tried boat snorkeling and 🪂. By the way, you can order in-room massages
The hotel has several restaurants, a cafe and bar, and afternoon tea. The food is delicious, but reservations are required. Afternoon tea is a must! The view is stunning, and there's piano music

This resort has great service and ABF is very nice, we can choose Chinese, Japnese (Ryokyu), international for our breakfast in seperate restaurant
The location is easy to reach even without a car thanks to regular bus connections. The setting itself is stunning — the hotel is located on a separate peninsula, and the views are truly magnificent
The check-in process took a full 45 minutes, and I was almost on the verge of heatstroke from standing there so long! After finally checking in, I wanted to quickly freshen up with a shower, but then waited another 30 minutes in the room for my luggage
Because of this, the prices for additional services and restaurants also feel overpriced. Dust, dirt, worn furniture, and even mold significantly spoil the overall impression
The only time you can really enjoy the pool or ocean without getting baked is closer to sunset (unless you don't mind the sun, then never mind what I said)
At the same time, there are many positive aspects. Some areas are beautiful, the food is very tasty, and the staff are extremely polite, attentive, and caring

The beach and pool are beautiful, and the rooms are well-maintained. The off-season price seems reasonable
The hotel has a shuttle service that runs regularly to and from the Hoshino Resorts Banyan Tree Iriomote, allowing guests to enjoy their 8 pools. Right next door to the hotel is the famous Hoshino Coffee, a must-try
On the hotel's beach, during low tide, you could see little fish swimming and crabs scurrying in the glass-like water – it was adorable! For breakfast, you could choose between Japanese or Western style
Water activities also require reservations, and they don't accept phone bookings; you have to go early in the morning to get a spot, which is a bit too primitive 😂
The hotel's restaurant has good food and service, but there are queues for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and no one told us we could call ahead to reserve a table
The building looks a bit aged but certainly well maintained. It is located an hour drive from Naha and is more convenient for visiting the mid and north Okinawa

We stayed in the Beach Wing this time, and while our balcony overlooked the sea, the hallway outside our door faced a road, and we could hear cars speeding by at night
A very comfortable stay, with top-notch experience in terms of rooms, common areas, and service. The only regret is that the strong winds and low temperatures in February made it impossible to enjoy the water activities.
My only minor complaint is that the blinds let in a lot of light, making it hard to sleep in late. But overall, it's a fantastic hotel that I'd definitely visit again
However, the room's design, with a long corridor leading from the front door to the bedroom (past the closet and bathroom), acts as a natural sound amplifier

The hotel only provides daily towel changes; there's no room cleaning service. The breakfast is plentiful, with children's meals included, which is a thoughtful touch. Plus, there's no need to wait in line
This is considered a relatively good hotel in Miyako Island. The surrounding area is incomparable to those in China. It is best to make reservations in advance for meals, as the restaurants open every day are different.
There is a shuttle bus on the coast south of Shigira. It runs every half an hour during the day and every quarter of an hour after dinner time, making the transportation in this area quite convenient
There are no special facilities, it is cleaned very well, and it doesn't feel very old. Of course, the bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, which still reflects the sense of age
