Great location by the beach, but only a small free area for guests and most facilities require extra fees. The hotel feels a bit old with damp rooms, and parking is inconvenient since most lots are across a busy road—unsafe for kids and the elderly. An excellent business-class hotel located in the heart of Kitakyushu (Kokura), walkable from JR Kokura station and to many dining and shopping options. Quiet and comfortable day or night, excellent front desk staff, rooms with city views available, fast Internet (wired and wireless), clean rooms.

The rooms themselves were actually really nice. The only issue was that a group of guys on my floor kept knocking on each other's doors and chatting loudly in the hallway, which was quite annoying. On the plus side, the onsen and the new main building were very conveniently connected.

Hotel is near the station. Room is enough to accommodate one person. Loved the big bath onsen, that has a sauna. Many eateries around the hotel. Shopping mall is just next to it. Loves the breakfast. I use Kokura as a base to visit shimonoseki, mojito port. Great stay!

This hotel is pretty standard for a cheap Japanese business hotel experience, so no complaints about the amenities, but they still use physical keys for the hotel rooms, and they ask that you leave the key with the front desk every time you leave the hotel which is pretty annoying.

The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station, making transportation very easy. There are many shops nearby, which is great for shopping. The room was quiet, clean, and well-equipped. It's small, but perfect for a solo traveler.

The single room was spacious enough for one person and had everything you need. It also had a microwave and washing machines on some floors. The location was great, just behind the Central Station. Not sure about the Japanese culture. We tried to check in at morning time, but we got the only response that the check-in starts at 3:00PM. No extra information about how to enter the Park, or anything. We need to figure out that ourselves. We walked to the main entrance, and back there. There was a large public bath, which was nice.

The location on Kokusai Street was quite convenient. I was also very satisfied with the large communal bath. However, disposable amenities like toothbrushes weren't automatically provided, so I had to request them directly from the front desk.

It's located in Tenmonkan so there's no problem finding somewhere to eat. It was clean and check-out was at 11am so I was able to relax.

The hotel is very close to the planetarium. There are bars and the like downstairs at night, but it's not noisy.

This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip.com and is, at best, a 3-star property. The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury. The rooftop bar closes at 9 pm, which is far too early, and we were also told at check-in that access to the infinity pool costs extra at around JPY 1,100 per adult. The twin room was 26 square meters, clean and tidy. I stayed on the 16th floor, where I could see Beppu Bay to the left and trains arriving and departing from the station to the right. Both breakfast and dinner were substantial, and a special highlight was being able to try the local specialty, 'Jigoku Mushi' (hell-steamed dishes), cooked with 98-degree hot water directly from the onsen.

Hotel has nice hot spring. Single room typical Japanese style but a bit narrow to accommodate 24” luggage with both sides fully open. Buffet has good spread, but the meat stew serving was limited, after 8am there’s no more meat in the stew, left with the carrots, lotus roots etc. should refill as the buffet ends 930am. Like the hot noodles.

Traveling in Kyushu, Japan, I stayed in Kumamoto for two nights in a twin room. The room layout was well-designed, allowing us to open two suitcases comfortably. The room was fully equipped, clean, and tidy.

Have to take tram from kumamoto station to the hotel. The room is nice and clean. There is also.an onsen which is great. The hotel is situated in a lively neighbourhood whereby there are a lot of restaurants. The place became very lively at night.

I've stayed at the Washington Hotel on both of my visits to Kumamoto. Its location is perfect for exploring the city center and conveniently reaching nearby tourist attractions. Additionally, it's very close to Sakuramachi Terminal. Both the cleanliness and the staff's exceptional hospitality were highly impressive.

A hotel that leaves much to be desired. The decor and facilities are incredibly dated, reminiscent of Japan's Heisei era. During my three-day stay, I had to switch rooms four times, as every room had some issue, be it with the air conditioning or the windows/doors. The service, however, was decent, and they provided a complimentary room upgrade.

JR Kyushu hotel Nagasaki is within walking distance to Nagasaki JR station and it is surrounded by shopping malls. We were grateful for the early check in at 1pm. The room is cozy and comfortable. The space is just nice for one large and one medium luggages. The toilet and amenities provided are great. Luggage storage was available after check out. Umbrellas was also available for rainy days.
