Kyushu, Oita, 1-5-18 Chuo-machi, Oita-shi, Oita Prefecture 🧭 Map
Wonderful station near restaurants and only a short walk away from highway bus to Fukuoka airport and Oita train station.
Wonderful coffee machine at lobby.
Thank you!
Tje hotel is morden style, good location, close to JR station & lot of restaurants around. hygiene is above average.
Comfortable hotel, amazing breakfast and great location
The hotel is near the train station but the room is old which doesn't looks like the picture provide
I didn't have high expectations because the price was reasonable, but it was a very nice hotel. The staff were very kind.
Fast check-in, complement wine and enjoyable stay overall.

Kyushu, Nago, 115-2 Kise 🧭 Map
Great location by the beach, but only a small free area for guests and most facilities require extra fees. The hotel feels a bit old with damp rooms, and parking is inconvenient since most lots are across a busy road—unsafe for kids and the elderly. On the bright side, the breakfast was very good and quite varied, and it was lovely to enjoy it on the higher floors with a sea view.
Kanehide Kise Beach Palace was a nice hotel to stay in! Although there was nothing much in the surroundings, the hotel had all your basic needs. There was a shop at their lobby selling drinks, souvenirs, even has a craft workshop to make small Okinawa crafts. Driving to the hotel was easy, just have to follow google maps. Upon arrival at the hotel, the carpark right at the hotel was full. At check...
A perfect place to spend your days in Okinawa. Although there is not much around the hotel itself (one restaurant), there are some cafes and shops in 10-15 minute walk. The stuff is nice, ready to help. There is a free beach in front, you can also rent sun beds and parasols, water park extra charge and a gift store inside the hotel. However, there is no outdoor pool, although the page says the hotel...
Nice beach, but close at 5 o’clock
Very nice to have 10% discount at the store next to the lobby, but not much to go around the hotel, join the water park and it’s fun to play, clean room, just sometimes has bad smell with the AC, always no one in the front desk, don’t have kid’s amenities
Little bit old and smell from the pipe and carpet. However it has sea view. The beach too many rock and shell.

Kyushu, Kitakyushu, 1-4-11 Komemachi Kokurakita-ku 🧭 Map
An excellent business-class hotel located in the heart of Kitakyushu (Kokura), walkable from JR Kokura station and to many dining and shopping options. Quiet and comfortable day or night, excellent front desk staff, rooms with city views available, fast Internet (wired and wireless), clean rooms.
The rooms themselves were actually really nice. The only issue was that a group of guys on my floor kept knocking on each other's doors and chatting loudly in the hallway, which was quite annoying. On the plus side, the onsen and the new main building were very conveniently connected.
Hotel is near the station. Room is enough to accommodate one person.
Loved the big bath onsen, that has a sauna.
Many eateries around the hotel. Shopping mall is just next to it.
Loves the breakfast.
I use Kokura as a base to visit shimonoseki, mojito port.
Great stay!
Very near to Kokura Train Starion. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Public onsen is a plus point.
Very close to main train station and walkable to everything, including restaurants etc. room is clean and comfortable. Everything is good.
The hotel is near the JR station, but the gotel is old and have a bad smell which doesn't looks like the photo provided.

Kyushu, Fukuoka, 1-18-1 Hakataekihigashi 🧭 Map
This hotel is pretty standard for a cheap Japanese business hotel experience, so no complaints about the amenities, but they still use physical keys for the hotel rooms, and they ask that you leave the key with the front desk every time you leave the hotel which is pretty annoying.
Room: Small, but cheap and very clean. Not really enough sockets for the number of things you need to charge these days.
Service: The hotel let me leave my suitcase with them both before and after check-in and check-out. They let me use their glue which I needed for something. A small thing, but appreciated. Slight minus - despite giving a Japanese address, they still asked for my residence card....
Very near to Hakata station, 10-15 mins walk away.
Room was clean and had all the 'necessary' in room amenities.
Nice and clean. Rooms are small but it has everything. Very compact so it's good for one or two nights' short stay with minimal luggage.
Service was great, and room is clean, but the building and it's room definitely shows it's age.
Compared to a UK station it’s amazing. Compared to other Japanese stations such as Shin-Osaka it’s just very good.
Great food options and as a station has great connections and friendly staff

HOTEL ATE DOWNNNN WORTH THE PRICE AND THERE WAS FREE AMENITIES ON THE FIRST FLOOR??? SLAY???
Room is a bit dusty, front desk staff a bit cold, otherwise location and the free beverages and snacks are just great !!
Nice hotel with good amenities and very convenient location but the room can be very small and the staff at the reception hardly speaks English and not as friendly as one will expect.
Nice to have welcome drinks and foods.
Room size is just suitable.
General breakfast like most hotels but it has some Fukuoka signature dishes. Of course it’s not like those signature restaurants but more like home-cooking taste.
The room is too small. There's no place to open up our luggages at all. Overall the room is very clean but the carpet & quilt were very old. The maruhati pillows were excellent.
Loved my stay here.
Amenities include face and hair treatment for the women ❤️
There's coin laundry, vending machine and microwave oven.
Welcome drinks and snacks available from 3 to 11pm.
Location is a minute walk from Nakasu station.

Great location, very close to the subway station. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and they even offered free drinks and ice cream. For a Japanese hotel, the room size was quite generous.
The room was clean and quiet, and the service was good.
Second visit, great overall experience.
Blue Seal ice cream all-you-can-eat and high-quality hotel supplies.
Next to a 7-11 with many late-night snack options.
Close to Kokusai Dori (International Street), about a 10-minute walk, with less noise at night.
Quality hotel, breakfast is delicious and you can get blue seal ice cream every day. My kid and I so enjoyed eating. ☺️@First floor has 7/11, it’s very convenient.
Very good location — just a few minutes’ walk to the monorail, and there’s a 7-Eleven right under the hotel. Breakfast is nice, and they even offer free drinks and Blue Seal ice cream, which is a lovely touch.
We have stayed at this hotel numerous times since 2015, and it has consistently been a convenient choice due to its fantastic location near the train station. The breakfast is enjoyable, though the restaurant can feel a bit cramped, especially when it's busy with travelers. During this visit, we noticed that the room seemed recently renovated—it was clean and free of the cigarette smell that we had...

Kyushu, Nagasaki, Goto-machi 5-45 🧭 Map
Toyoko Inn always my first choice of admocation.
We stayed for 2 nights at the end of March.
The main plus is the location: the hotel is literally right next to Nagasaki Station, which is convenient for transfers and generally as a base for exploring the city. There's a tram nearby, shops, everything is very compact.
We were given a room on the 7th floor in the new building, typical for the Toyoko Inn chain: small, but clean and functional. It...
My first time trying Toyoko Inn, I thought I'd see it right outside Nagasaki Station, but it was actually a seven or eight-minute walk. The service is very standardized; check-in and check-out are done via machines, but there are staff members on hand to assist. Breakfast is very simple, but the room itself is pretty good, with a sufficiently large desk. The room has minimal decor, simple and neat...
The breakfast buffet, while not as extensive in variety or quantity as in more expensive hotels, was actually a plus. I didn't overeat or get overwhelmed by choices, and it was perfectly satisfying.
It was also great to have free lockers in the lobby that I could use after checking out.
Nice location for shopping and sightseeing. The room at new apartments newly built or renovated is big and clean. Nice free coffee at the lobby. We have a great vacation and relax days.

Kyushu, Fukuoka, 4-4 Hakata-eki Chuo-gai 🧭 Map
The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station, making transportation very easy. There are many shops nearby, which is great for shopping. The room was quiet, clean, and well-equipped. It's small, but perfect for a solo traveler.
The single room was spacious enough for one person and had everything you need. It also had a microwave and washing machines on some floors. The location was great, just behind the Central Station. The best part was that you could check in at 1pm and check out at 12pm which is better than almost every other hotel. Checkout was also a seamless process
Although the room was small, it was well-equipped, clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The best part is its great location, just a 3-minute walk to the station, which is incredibly convenient. The ginkgo trees outside are also beautiful.
Second time staying at this hotel and booked this again for my family trip this round! Really wonderful hospitality from the hotel staff and the 1pm check in timing was helpful for us to rest after a red eye flight.
Hotel room is very clean and has all the basic necessities provided. Coin laundry and vending machines are available at alternate levels too.
I had a great stay at Hakata Green Hotel No. 1. The location was convenient, the room was comfortable, and the service was excellent. I was very satisfied with my experience and would happily stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel ten years ago and absolutely loved it! When I visited Fukuoka again, I chose it because of its excellent cleanliness, which I'm still very satisfied with. The surrounding area is also convenient for getting around, and it's close to the subway station. However, perhaps due to the current situation, I felt the front desk service has declined significantly compared to a decade...

Location: The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the back exit of Hakata Station, making it quite convenient. There are also convenience stores nearby.

Room Amenities: The bathroom has shampoo, body wash, disposable toothbrushes, etc. At the front desk, you can pick up small samples of toner, tea bags, and...
Good service with hotel staff can speak well English. It would be better if hotel amenities have salt bath.
Good to stay in this hotel for solo , service are good too location good too very clean everything good as well
The location is within less than 10mins walking diatance to Hakata Station (where all the Shinkansen, JR line, subway stations and bus stations/stops are). The hotel is very comfortable and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is also considered spacious for a japanese hotels notorious for being compact.
This is a standard business hotel with no standout features,
but you'll find drugstores, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby.
Given its relatively close proximity to Hakata Station,
it’s a budget-friendly option for those prioritizing easy access to the Shinkansen and Fukuoka Airport.
The triple room has twin beds plus a sofa bed, which is enough for three people. It's right by a bustling road. Coincidentally, it was election day in Japan, and when I opened the window, I could see a politician waving at me. Toyoko Inn only offers breakfast. Kyushu, Sasebo, 6 Huis Ten Bosch 🧭 Map
It's a classic, grand hotel, equipped with high-end toiletries. The room was very clean and tidy.
The hotel is a little dated, but service is good. There is a public bath, but no gym. The hotel is very close to Huis Ten Bosch and has a private gate going to HTB once you have already purchase a ticket. You can request for extra pillows to use for free and you can choose pillow type (soft, medium, hard)
The hotel is decent for a one night stay. Though I would describe the interiors of the room as pretty retro and dated in the 90s. The hotel staff are very warm and friendly, and the room is clean. It’s acceptable for a short stay. The hotel is only a stone throw away from Huis Ten Bosch’s entrance where you need to get your tickets. And you can return to the hotel via the back gate. There’s a Lawson...
Would recommend to all my friends if they visit this place

Kyushu, Fukuoka, 3-4-24 Watanabedori, Chuo-ku 🧭 Map
The hotel is a 20-minute walk (1.6 km) from Hakata Station, or a 70 RMB taxi ride if you use Didi. Overall, it's quite convenient. The hotel itself is very new, and the staff offers smiling service. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the Tenjin shopping district and Tenjin Underground Mall. There's also a convenience store very close by.
Good location, near to Watanabedori station.
The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Watanabe-dori Station (Nanakuma Line),
with easy access to both Hakata and Tenjin. The property is clean and well maintained, and the laundry facilities on the first floor are very practical.
A FamilyMart right across the street adds extra convenience.
Overall, great value for money and highly recommended.
The room was spacious and the location was great, just a ten-minute walk from Tenjin. What's more, it's very close to the subway station and has an elevator, which made moving my luggage around super easy! It was a bit of a splurge for one person, but it would be absolutely perfect for two.
Nice and clean room. Asked for more pillows. Ice machine on the first floor was nice. Breakfast offered very few food selections. Paper plate and plastic utensils was a bit turn off. Other than that, the hotel was very nice. (Eel restaurant next to the hotel was a bit pricey but really good)
Rooms are ok but the bathroom is very small. Wish to have more amenities.

Location: It's inside a shopping mall, quite small though.
Hygiene: Similar to business hotels in Japan, pretty clean.
However, the facilities are very old, and there's only one power outlet, which is super inconvenient.
Great location, but the hotel facilities are really old. It was scorching hot inside the room in March, and the AC wasn't working, so we had to open the window for air. Being right next to Canal City was incredibly noisy. The sound of the fountains went on late into the night.
Nice location of the hotel. 1700yen for parking over night. nice bar opposite of the hotel
I've stayed here dozens of times over the years. The location, accessibility, and value for money are the main reasons I keep coming back. While the standard rooms are indeed quite small, typical of Japan, and the hotel is a bit older, it's generally well-maintained. Overall, it's a good choice!
Great stay at Canal City Washington Hotel! Perfect location right next to Canal City Hakata with lots of food and shopping nearby, and walkable to Hakata Station. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—ideal for a solo traveler. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Excellent value and very convenient. Would stay again!

There was a large public bath, which was nice.
The location on Kokusai Street was quite convenient. I was also very satisfied with the large communal bath. However, disposable amenities like toothbrushes weren't automatically provided, so I had to request them directly from the front desk.
The bathroom had a moldy smell and didn't feel clean. I'm sensitive to smells so it didn't feel very good.
The APA Hotel Naha is a beautiful hotel made for exactly what you need. Especially if you're here for a business trip or pleasurable stay. The price are very affordable. This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip.com and is, at best, a 3-star property.
The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury. The rooftop bar closes at 9 pm, which is far too early, and we were also told at check-in that access to the infinity pool costs extra at around JPY 1,100 per adult. Charges like this should be made clear upfront...

Clean room and convenient location, convenience store right opposite of the hotel. The room is spacious as well. We were lucky to have a room that can see the fireworks from our hotel room window. It was a nice stay.
Everything was very good, except the temperature in the room, because it’s super warm in winter, and it can’t be controlled in the room. Hotspring was very nice!
Kim at the front desk was very nice and helped us with changing to non smoking room without much hassle. Deserve 5 stars
The twin room was 26 square meters, clean and tidy. I stayed on the 16th floor, where I could see Beppu Bay to the left and trains arriving and departing from the station to the right. Both breakfast and dinner were substantial, and a special highlight was being able to try the local specialty, 'Jigoku Mushi' (hell-steamed dishes), cooked with 98-degree hot water directly from the onsen.
Hotel has nice hot spring. Single room typical Japanese style but a bit narrow to accommodate 24” luggage with both sides fully open. Buffet has good spread, but the meat stew serving was limited, after 8am there’s no more meat in the stew, left with the carrots, lotus roots etc. should refill as the buffet ends 930am. Like the hot noodles.
The location is decent, about a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable. The room didn't have much of a view and you could hear the train. The onsen and breakfast areas were very crowded. This Kamenoi wasn't as good as the one we stayed at previously in Toba. The hot springs in Beppu are definitely worth visiting!

Traveling in Kyushu, Japan, I stayed in Kumamoto for two nights in a twin room. The room layout was well-designed, allowing us to open two suitcases comfortably. The room was fully equipped, clean, and tidy.
Clean and comfortable. But the shower in the public bath has an issue - you have to constantly push the switch to keep the water out, inconvenient to use.
The location is nice, close to the castle. It was nice to visit onsen in the hotel and try curry with horse meat in the evening. The breakfast was good too - buffet.
The room was comfortable and clean.
But the bed was sooo extremely small for 2 people. We are exhausted and could not normally sleep. I don’t know why the sell such small beds in rooms for 2. This was only but very big disadvantage.

The room was quite spacious, and equipped with a full range of amenities, including a smart toilet, a mini-fridge, and a safe. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily. Opening the window offered a view of the Pacific Ocean. The breakfast area had a great ambiance, and the breakfast selection was extensive, featuring Western, Chinese, and Japanese options, including fish, meat, vegetables, and local specialties...
A hotel that leaves much to be desired. The decor and facilities are incredibly dated, reminiscent of Japan's Heisei era.
