Excellent service. Amazing view overseeing coastline and Fukuoka Tower. Distance from city centre but highly recommended if drive.

Due to the language barrier, I couldn't get a clear explanation. ⑥ The room lighting was dim and very uncomfortable. However, the hotel's location is indeed excellent, with full sea views and convenient transportation

④ The room facilities were not as good as those in a decent business hotel back home (China). ⑤ The hotel policy stated free parking when I booked, but I was charged 2000 yen per day at check-out

If you're attending a concert at PayPay Dome, honestly, don't bother staying anywhere else! The walkway shown in picture five leads directly to gate 7 in just five minutes

② There was a lack of substantial dishes; only one salmon dish could be considered so, but it tasted really bad. ③ Almost all the dishes were unappetizing

However, when it came to breakfast, I was truly disappointed and felt quite let down: ① The coffee was the worst I've had in any hotel in Japan

Excellent amenities and location. With a coffee machine and water machine at lobby for customers. Also have a microwave oven and cutlery at lobby. Many choices of food for breakfast

Room is smaller than I'm used to being from North America, but still nice and comfy. Washroom is good, nice and clean

Tje hotel is morden style, good location, close to JR station & lot of restaurants around. hygiene is above average.

I loved it, its a big room, by Japanese standard, I liked it so much that I extended my stay from 3 to 4 nights and on hind sight should have stayed 2 more nights in Oita

Quick 12 min walk to Oita train station and buses, I like Oita where its just 1- 3 stops to Beppu and its quite relaxing compared to Tokyo and Osaka

Very clean & Comfortable rooms with good views, a very wide spread of food at the buffet.

It’s a good hotel to stay for rest and relax. Hotel is far from everything so best to have a car to go around for food. Definitely will be a lot nicer if hotel is renovated recently

I've stayed there 3 times (in September )and have had an excellent experience every time. My only complaint is that the pool has never been open at night. When it was open during the day it was crowded with kids

The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained! The room is big and the ocean & pine trees forest view was simply awesome 👍! Another plus point was their out door Onsen with the pine trees view was fantastic!!

It’s a lovely place, full of locals, so everywhere is kept and maintained clean and enjoyable. Hotel has different areas / activity to explore, service was attentive and thoughtful, parents enjoyed thenselves

The hotel was very clean, and the stay was comfortable, with excellent service. However, the hot spring was really dirty, with all sorts of suspended particles. It was obvious the circulation system wasn't working well.

The Grand Hotel offers decent value for money, though it's a bit on the expensive side. The room rates are pretty good, all things considered

In its lobby there is a Familymart so and a souvenir store so overall it’s a convenient place! Didn’t get a chance to really explore its amenities as I’m out most of the days, but I would recommend for its price!

Because of this, the prices for additional services and restaurants also feel overpriced. Dust, dirt, worn furniture, and even mold significantly spoil the overall impression

The only time you can really enjoy the pool or ocean without getting baked is closer to sunset (unless you don't mind the sun, then never mind what I said)

I chose the newest building facing the ocean. The room has nice ocean view and can also see the pool underneath. The balcony is also good as it allows you to hang clothes to dry

Hotel room was spacious and extremely clean. However we did not have a good experience with the reception counter. The staff I spoke to was rude and unhelpful.

This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip. com and is, at best, a 3-star property. The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury

Unfortunately, good staff alone cannot make up for the limited facilities, extra charges, and inconvenient procedures. Overall, this hotel does not deliver a 5-star experience and feels misleadingly advertised

Spacious room and facilities, tip: rmb to check in sharp at 1pm and try all their free and discounted water activities, the boomerang slide is a must try if you like water parks! Free cocktail/beer from 2pm to 11pm in two different sessions, and their Japanese-French style breakfast bar is prob one of the best breakfast buffet I've seen, even butter they have 3 types for you to choose from, free flow...

It's a lovely hotel, the onsen is wonderful. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options to enjoy. The smoothies and icecream on pancakes were the highlights for me

The hotel is very kid-friendly, so you’ll see a lot of families and children around. If you prefer a very quiet and peaceful environment, this might not be the best choice

Wonderful time at Grand Mercure. Hotel are spacious, fit in four beds , breakfast are nice and from noon time serve welcome drink till dark. Beautiful sea view from the room. Enjoyable to stay in this hotel with family.

Located just beside Cape Zanpa, this place has great views. Found a dirty pillowcase when I check in, but the staff replaced it immediately after I mentioned it. The front desk team speaks English well.

We did a staycation at this hotel and had a great time. We really loved the free-flow drinks service — unlimited alcohol and soft drinks was definitely a highlight of our stay

The Vessel hotel is conveniently located near several business locations I was in Island to visit, The room was perfect and very clean. The staff were so friendly and especially helpful all the time

The hotel located in the hill, which driving or taxi is the only way heading. There is a convenience store in the hotel, proving snack and necessities.  The staff are polite with good command of english

The hotel's location isn't far from Shuri Castle, offering great views. The breakfast is excellent and meets the standards of a 4-star hotel

It seems a bit difficult to access without a rental car, and as an older hotel, it doesn't have many special facilities. It's a good hotel to stay at the night before an international flight.

The complimentary bath salts were a nice touch, and the souvenir gift was also good. The area around the hotel is quite lively from Friday to weekend evenings, and there are fireworks on Saturday nights

This hotel location is good! Very close to the main area. We could walk to restaurants and the beach easily. Love the idea that we can access and use the pool facility in another Hilton :)

We did find the opening times of the pools a bit odd and the lack of affordable food options at the resort a challenge, but with a car, there's plenty of good food options nearby

The room is very nice, the scenery is very beautiful, the swimming pool is also very clean, there are a few places to eat and it is a bit difficult to make a reservation, but the service is very good, I recommend everyone to stay here

The facilities were good, but there was a lot of unpleasant smell, probably because of the air conditioning inside.

After a few days, they were so good that my scalp was numb. The downside, probably because it's located by the sea, is that the room is a bit damp, but it's still acceptable

On the hotel's beach, during low tide, you could see little fish swimming and crabs scurrying in the glass-like water – it was adorable! For breakfast, you could choose between Japanese or Western style

Compared to a UK station it’s amazing. Compared to other Japanese stations such as Shin-Osaka it’s just very good. Great food options and as a station has great connections and friendly staff

Room: Small, but cheap and very clean. Not really enough sockets for the number of things you need to charge these days. Service: The hotel let me leave my suitcase with them both before and after check-in and check-out

They let me use their glue which I needed for something. A small thing, but appreciated. Slight minus - despite giving a Japanese address, they still asked for my residence card
