Ishigaki, 354-1 Maesato, 907-0002 Isigaki, Prefektura Okinava, Yaponiya (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
good friendly helpful staff. im not driving and reached the place by bus, its 15 mins walk from local bus station, around 20 mins bus ride 110yen to city side , however, the road has no light its a bit scary at night. good facility, amazing golf court, good pools with slide but its a bit dirty(tons of bugs & leaves in water & pool side changing room smells like old bathroom covered with pee) .
The hotel was perfect, breakfasts were delicious and various. Staff were helpful and friendly, a lot of staff spoke English. I can’t wait to come back here in a high season to do more marine activities and enjoy beautiful ocean of Okinawa.
Facilities: All entertainment activities are well-equipped.
Hygiene: Clean and sanitary.
Service: Warm and friendly.
The hotel is in good location with spectacular views. The dining is nice and staffs are friendly. The beach aeea is not as perfect from watching other previous previews, with sea water wasn't as crystal clear and sands are rather coarse
This hotel is no doubt the best resort in Ishigaki Island. It has a big resort style with exclusive feel. There are a few buildings so make sure you pick the right one for your needs. I chose the newest building facing the ocean. It was very new and clean. The room has nice ocean view and can also see the pool underneath. The balcony is also good as it allows you to hang clothes to dry. However, I...
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy
Environment: The entire hotel is very spacious, with several buildings.
Service: If you require cleaning service, there's a 1000 JPY charge per person upon check-out.

Ishigaki, Miyara 1053, 907-0243 Isigaki, Prefektura Okinava, Yaponiya (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
One of the best hotels on Ishigaki Island, with large rooms.
I'm from the countryside, so I should have been used to it, but when I checked in, there was a huge spider in front of the entrance, a small spider in the entrance as soon as I entered the room, and a tiny gecko in the living room at the back...
I was so sorry, but I immediately called the front desk and asked if there was a staff member who could do something about the gecko...and they took me there...
I was absolutely delighted with my stay at this hotel! 👍
The hotel staff was very nice and even helped with restaurant reservations. If there were any communication issues, they could easily communicate with them using their mobile phone translator!
The room was huge, big enough for kids to play hide-and-seek! 🐱
There was also a washing machine, which was convenient for drying clothes on the balcony...
The room was so spacious that we had more than enough space, and the interior was beautiful everywhere.
The view from the balcony was amazing, and gazing out at the sea and sky in the morning was truly relaxing.
The breakfast, which came with a choice of four dishes - Japanese, Western, French toast, or acai bowl - was also excellent. Our family and I are already talking about coming back and eating...
Unexpectedly large, the room is well-equipped and the stay is very comfortable

Hoshinoya Taketomi Island is truly a hidden gem, perfect for finding peace and completely unwinding. The environment is incredibly natural and the service is excellent; anything you need is promptly brought to your room. The shabu-shabu delivered to the room for dinner was delicious, and the sukiyaki set meal at the restaurant was also good, though breakfast was just average. Overall, it left a wonderful...
Located in a quiet area in the south of Taketomi about 25 minutes walk from the village.
Large spacious Japanese cabin. Massive swimming pool with 24 hours access. Beautiful grounds.
The main issue was damp/condensation. Obvious stains on the walls and a massive dehumidifier whirring away. Took away much of the tranquility.
Although staff were friendly, they were very disorganised and haphazard e.g...
Having previously stayed at Hoshinoya Fuji and Hoshinoya Okinawa, this was our third visit to a Hoshinoya property. We had an excellent and relaxing 3-night stay which formed the culmination of a two week trip around East Asia, and after the liveliness of Seoul and Hong Kong was exactly what we needed to switch off and relax before heading back to the UK.
Hoshinoya Taketomi has a welcoming feel,...
This was a trip to celebrate my mother's birthday.
I chose this hotel because I'd always wanted to live in an Okinawan house. The space in the room was even more beautiful than I'd imagined, and I was particularly impressed by how the whole place recreated the feel of an entire village, making me feel like I was experiencing island life.
Suzy was a maze, but thanks to the unassuming signposts, we were...
It is a paradise for people. There are few people on the island. The resort has buses to various attractions on the island. The resort itself is a Japanese resort style, with good service and independent small houses that are very quiet.
Recommended!
The most comfortable hotel, service, culture, experience, food, the feeling of seclusion is very good and comfortable, the only drawback is that you can't see the sea directly. If the wind is strong on the island, the house will creak

The hotel is in good location and very accessible to city area. The staffs are friendly and it is to great pleasure with the tour centre inside inside the hotel which you can easily book a lot of outdoor activities without worrying all the transportation arrangements.

Hotel locates near the city centre/ terminal. They owns two parking lots which you will not find any difficulty in parking.
Room is very spacious. Offers very comfy bed.
Breakfast was delicious with variety options. Staff speaks both Japanese and English.
Very satisfied with this hotel. Swimming pool, onsen, decent rooms, nice breakfast, Misaki beef yakiniku, bus stop right in front of hotel, friendly receptionists, all included.
Good location, near to Ishigaki ferry terminal where vendors pick up and drop off participants for water activities, however parking spaces in the main carpark are always full and the second carpark is quite a distance away. The pool and suntanning deck were nice but pool was filled with kids and their parents and you can't do any lap swimming. Pool also opens late from 0930hrs so no early morning...
The room is comfy and reasonable size. But the bathroom looks a bit like lower tier hotel.
Convenient location and walkable distance to city for restaurant
Very clean room. Love the public bath . Breakfast is also very good.

This was my accommodation after a marathon. The large public bath was a great bonus, and I was very satisfied.
There are 3 different buildings in this hotel, please make sure you choose the "Misaki Wing", as it is the newest building and it will face the ocean terminal side. The room is actually not that roomy, however, it is reasonably clean. Floor space is lacking for 2 adults with barely enough room to open two suitcase. However, I would recommend this hotel considering its prime location to the terminal...
The location is fantastic. We stayed on a high floor in the Misaki Building, and our corner room offered views in two directions. The ferry terminal and a major bus stop are just across the street, and there's also a main bus stop right on the side of the building. The commercial district is conveniently located nearby too. This place is perfect for anyone looking to go island hopping around Ishigaki...
The location is excellent, right across from the ferry terminal. However, the hotel is a bit dated. The public bath was quite small and not very clean. Breakfast offered a good variety and was delicious. Soundproofing was only average, and if you're driving, parking comes with an additional fee.
The only minor issue was the humidity in the room. However, the location was superb, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The facilities were decent, and the breakfast was good.
The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a three-minute walk to the bus terminal, and there are many famous local shops nearby. Plus, the street right next door turns into a lively Izakaya street in the evenings. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and attentive; they always go out of their way to help us resolve any issues (they also offer services like taxi booking and car rental).

A wonderful location and delicious breakfast. The hotel's indoor wear and bags were so cute I wanted to take them home with me. The beach walk and the view from the pool in the front yard were amazing! I also had a wonderful time gazing up at the starry sky while swaying in a hammock. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time.
The hotel has friendly staff and beautiful environment. The outdoor swimming pool offers a beautiful view of blue sky and white clouds. The room is very clean and the breakfast has a variety of choices and is delicious. It is highly recommended!
The hotel has a sea view across the street, and I found it fascinating how the pool seemed to be connected to the ocean. Dinner included a barbecue and a formal course meal. Since the barbecue was fully booked, I opted for the course meal, which was fantastic! Breakfast was also delicious, and the surrounding area was well-maintained, making it a great place to take pictures. I wanted to see the stars...
The waiters are very friendly, the environment is very clean, the view to the sea is unbeatable and worth the money, and the hotel has a lot of breakfast options!

The room was really spacious. We stayed in the villas, which were very nice, but the only flaw was the cleanliness, which could be improved. The bed linens and first towels smelled absolutely awful, which was unpleasant. There were a few stains on various older furniture.
The service and staff were very good, and breakfast and dinner were excellent.
It's located on a beautiful beach with jellyfish protection netting. The food is delicious, and we even had the opportunity to grill at our table once.
Public transport buses run very infrequently, so excursions and airport transfers need to be well-planned. IC cards (e.g., Suica) don't work on the buses here. It rained a lot, and some paths were flooded for days, meaning rubber sandals and shorts...
Stunning view! A little old building but with all amenities and services needed for a relaxing holiday!
Good breakfast.
I chose this accommodation to see the sunset.
Since it's on the 7th floor, the ocean views are clear and far away, and the room is quite spacious compared to other Japanese hotels, so I had no problems staying there for three days.
The only downside is the abundance of bugs, but the ocean view and sunset make it all worthwhile. The sunset from the ocean in front of the hotel is the best👍
Staff are nice
Everything is good
I stayed for two days and one night. I emailed the hotel three times regarding activities, meals, and access, and the information I received was so good that I decided to book.
From the time I arrived before check-in to the time my bags were stored and collected upon my return, I was treated very pleasantly.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in order to explore the area. We had room 7 which was a corner room with a view of the beach and a bath overlooking the beach which was absolutely wonderful. The private beach is amazing. I couldn't see the stars again, but I'd like to come back.
The private beach is wonderful. If you're lucky, you might even see sea turtles.
There is really nothing but only great things to say about Seven Colors. From the great service, comfortable room to a direct access to a private beach…. We had such wonderful time. Special thanks to all the staff members! Everybody is super hospitable. We love it so much that we are already planning to come back to Seven Colors next year.
Very friendly service. From the very first moment, you can feel that they care about making tourists feel comfortable. The cuisine is interesting and worth trying. I recommend booking dinner in advance. The sea view and beach are fantastic. There are several beaches nearby that were deserted. It's literally like a fairy tale.
We had a wonderful time at the hotel, the beaches are some of the best in the world, all to yourselves. The food was always enjoyable with each meal being freshly prepared on site. We visited Jusandi for the first time in five years - we would not have returned to Jusandi if not for the chance to experience Chef Hirose's cooking one last time before his departure from Jusandi (he is reaching mandatory retirement age, and will be leaving the property in March 2026.) Some memories are best left untouched, but after having dinner there four nights in a row on our previous stay,...
We loved the privacy. That is what you’re paying for here. You are completely away from the world in this little tropical dream. The pool was amazing. We also liked snorkeling at blue cave and didn’t mind that it seems to be used for tour guides. I felt better being in the ocean with a few people around. Then back to the solitude of our house. Of course there are spiders and other critters given that...
What an amazing find! A paradise tucked away in the Ishigaki jungle and overlooking the sea. Our villa was large, airy and immaculate with its own outdoor pool and a large indoor tub overlooking the garden. The villas are cleverly designed so you are not overlooked. Jusandi is 5 star in every aspect. The attentive service, the stunning accommodations, the lush landscape, everything is top notch. We decided to visit Ishigaki for our honeymoon, and the highlights included the infinity private pool, the incredibly sweet and attentive staff, and the chef’s nightly dinners. Not only the room with pool but also the staff were very friendly and it was a wonderful stay. The Italian dinner was made with local ingredients and was very satisfying in terms of taste and volume.
Also, if I get tired of the city, I would like to go to stay.

We had some trouble at the hotel and had to move to Seven by Seven at short notice. They quickly arranged it for us, and the result was... I'm so grateful. I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff for their courteous and warm service. Although we only had to leave our luggage there temporarily, they were still very kind and I was able to head to my next destination with peace of mind.
The rooms are very large, the equipment is relatively old, but are clean and tidy location, close to the airport but not close to the city center, only suitable for self-drive, almost no one stays and very few employees
During the stay along with I should only have 2-3 rooms occupied, but the day asked if the hotel could check in an hour early was also refused.
Overall Not recommended, service average
The location of the hotel was too ambiguous.
The hotel was too far from the beach and the places to visit nearby, so it was difficult to enjoy the ocean.
However, the breakfast was really a hotel worth recommending.
Good service attitude. The facilities are a bit old, but clean and tidy.
The hotel felt like it needed renovation. Maybe it's been a while. Not a big deal. However, it was nice for the price and the staff were incredibly nice!
I stayed for 2 nights for the first time. Since it was a corner room, it was quiet and spacious, and I was impressed by the sea view from the terrace. When I entered the room after check-in, it felt a bit damp, as other people wrote, but the air conditioning worked well and I was able to spend time comfortably. It was a waste that the hair dryer was normal for some reason, even though the amenities...

This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel with great value for money. The hospitality, room size, cleanliness, and breakfast all earn it 5 stars. I'll never stay at a resort hotel again lol. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Ishigaki ^ ^
Nice small hotel. The room is very spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. There is everything you need. The staff is very nice. The location itself is in a deserted place, it makes sense to stay only for a day or two. I had a very comfortable stay. It was quiet and clean, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. It was also nice that the bathroom was separate from the toilet and spacious. The welcome drink of awamori was also great. In addition, the library in the basement has a good selection of comics, and I thought that it would be okay even if I had to stay in my room due to a typhoon because I had a collection...
It is a beautiful hotel. The view from the veranda on the 2nd floor is wonderful with a good view. A 200m walk from Fusaki Beach Resort, you can also use the beach. Other facilities are available for a fee.
