Best Hotels in Ishigaki

This hotel is no doubt the best resort in Ishigaki Island. It has a big resort style with exclusive feel. There are a few buildings so make sure you pick the right one for your needs

I chose the newest building facing the ocean. The room has nice ocean view and can also see the pool underneath. The balcony is also good as it allows you to hang clothes to dry

Car parking was convenient. Service was very good. Hotel staffs were nice.

However, I also tried the Teppanyaki dinner and it was just very average. The air conditioning was not enough at that restaurant and the food was very average quality and taste but it was very expensive

There are some restaurants nearby the hotel as well which also serve as a very good alternative for dining options

Good location, near to Ishigaki ferry terminal where vendors pick up and drop off participants for water activities, however parking spaces in the main carpark are always full and the second carpark is quite a distance away

Very clean room. Love the public bath . Breakfast is also very good.

The availability with massage shops, souvenir shop, spa and sauna, swimming pool, bar and restaurants are very comprehensive and you can just enjoyed all kinds of amenities by staying in this one single hotel

The staffs are friendly and it is to great pleasure with the tour centre inside inside the hotel which you can easily book a lot of outdoor activities without worrying all the transportation arrangements

The room is actually not that roomy, however, it is reasonably clean. Floor space is lacking for 2 adults with barely enough room to open two suitcase

Our tour guide mentioned that the breakfast here is also excellent, but we didn't have enough time during our trip to add it to our package

This was my accommodation after a marathon. The large public bath was a great bonus, and I was very satisfied.

This is rather a chaotic situation and can be easily solved if the hotel can simply allow guest to check-in earlier. I was there 30 mins early and was told I cannot check-in and need to wait

The location is excellent, right across from the ferry terminal. However, the hotel is a bit dated. The public bath was quite small and not very clean. Breakfast offered a good variety and was delicious

Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to friends! While the price point is mid-to-high range, I truly feel it offers excellent value for money

I went diving over the New Year, so taking a nap in the large public bath after coming back was the best

The smell and dampness of the first room bothered me a lot, so I asked and they changed my room, which I was very grateful for

Apart from this, they were generally willing to accommodate any requests, so even though the facilities and cleanliness were just average, I was very satisfied

Room is not that large, but well cleaned. Brrakfast is good for its price. It has large public bath, but the water is too hot for me.

The ferry terminal is about a 10-minute walk away, which is convenient. The breakfast wasn't what I expected, but the selection was good and the miso soup was delicious

It was a little further from the downtown area than other hotels, which was inconvenient. It was my first time there, so I didn't know the location. It was quite far away. Surprisingly, I was very satisfied.

Other than that, breakfast was included, and there was unlimited coffee and other drinks in the lobby at any time, which was nice. The front desk staff were also very helpful

There's only one elevator, so it might get congested. It was a great value for money

The reliable Toyoko Quality Single rooms were all taken, and there were quite a few other guests, but it was quieter than I expected, which was nice. I had a hearty breakfast, too. The area is close to the port

The beach walk and the view from the pool in the front yard were amazing! I also had a wonderful time gazing up at the starry sky while swaying in a hammock. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time

Since the barbecue was fully booked, I opted for the course meal, which was fantastic! Breakfast was also delicious, and the surrounding area was well-maintained, making it a great place to take pictures

The hotel has a sea view across the street, and I found it fascinating how the pool seemed to be connected to the ocean. Dinner included a barbecue and a formal course meal

The most satisfying hotel in Ishigaki so far. It’s an apartment style so you have got everything you need in the room like washing machine, microwave, etc. you can enjoy the sea view if you are staying at higher floor

This is my second stay in two months. The environment is nice and the location is convenient. Parking is 1,000 yen a day, though. I'll definitely stay again next time I visit.

The owner was very friendly. Although the room was a bit small, NT$2,000 was quite good for the summer vacation. It had a kitchen and a washing machine. It was a great value.

Even though we couldn’t rent a car because of passport issues, they helped us to visit all the places we wanted—snorkeling among the coral and fish in the beautiful ocean, and enjoying a lovely sunset

the breakfast and evening alcohol are really amazing. sushi supplied in the breakfast was even better than those we got the other day from a local restaurant LOL room is big and tidy with a cloth washer inside

The amenities were good, the bedding was fine, and the room was clean! Every room except the living room is spacious and has two, so it would be great for friends, two families, or two households! The best thing about this place is that the planes fly right overhead, and very close by

I'm from the countryside, so I should have been used to it, but when I checked in, there was a huge spider in front of the entrance, a small spider in the entrance as soon as I entered the room, and a tiny gecko in the living room at the back

If there were any communication issues, they could easily communicate with them using their mobile phone translator! The room was huge, big enough for kids to play hide-and-seek! 🐱 There was also a washing machine, which was convenient for drying clothes on the balcony; in good weather, they were dry the next day! 😆 All amenities were available and restocked daily

We even bought some Wagyu beef from the supermarket and fryed it—a real treat! There's also afternoon tea every day from 2 to 6 pm, featuring all-you-can-drink beer, red wine, white wine, and more! We also had BlueSeal ice cream in flavors like vanilla, red taro, lemon, and chocolate, as well as other small cookies

The room was so spacious that we had more than enough space, and the interior was beautiful everywhere. The view from the balcony was amazing, and gazing out at the sea and sky in the morning was truly relaxing

The room was modern, clean and spacious! Great staff, and a good variety of breakfast choices. It’s not in the downtown or city center but just 10min drive from the port area, and very near to some of the big shops.

Excellent location near the pier with bus terminals. A little aged hotel but still maintained to be tidy. They provide a new set of towels if you put on the sign of “Do not disturb”. Good balcony with stunning view

There is access to 3 private beaches from the hotel as well as a sun deck or at night time on a clear night where you can see the stars. All in all a wonderful stay and highly recommend

Location for trips to island is perfect. Breakfast sushi is wonderful which I like most. The scenery on the roof is very good. Only the room is small and no free car parking. Check in at 3pm and check out at 10am.

The bus terminal and Ishigaki Port Terminal are also nearby, making it convenient. There doesn't appear to be a parking lot, so those with rental cars may need to check

I've stayed here several times and really like it. The rice balls for breakfast are delicious. It's also close to the remote island terminal and the bus terminal. It's also convenient for eating and drinking

What sets this hotel truly apart though is its staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We liked it so much that we returned to the hotel after having spent a week visiting nearby islands

What an amazing find! A paradise tucked away in the Ishigaki jungle and overlooking the sea. Our villa was large, airy and immaculate with its own outdoor pool and a large indoor tub overlooking the garden

We have never actually gone into the cave - time constraints, often-rough seas on the island's northern side, and the fact that we have already visited plenty of brilliant blue waters in places like Belize, the Philippines, and the cenotes of Mexico made it easy to pass this up

On our first visit, our villa had a partially obstructed ocean view, but this time there was none to speak of. That said, we enjoyed the short walk through the jungle to a small, secluded beach in a nearby cove

Each of the five villas has a slightly different layout dictated by the land, and on our first stay we found Maani, our one-bedroom villa, narrower and more constricted than its 60m² footprint suggested

First of all, it's conveniently located just three minutes from the remote island terminal, with easy access to the downtown area—the best location ever. The hotel is also new and very clean

I stayed here on a business trip. The ferry port is within a 5-minute walk, so it was great for going to remote islands. It's in a busy downtown area, so there are many restaurants and it was bustling

Where do I begin with this amazing hotel? Absolutely loved our time here. The rooms are HUGE, same with the shower, which made it so comfortable. The water gets very hot and has strong water pressure

I traveled to Ishigaki for 9 days as a family trip. We stayed at Club Med for 4 days / Haimurobushi, etc. My kids love animals, and I chose this place after seeing good reviews. It was really the best choice
