The location of the hotel is perfect, a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal, the bus stop to the airport and the centre of town.
Breakfast is delicious and the rooms are spacious.
What sets this hotel truly apart though is its staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We liked it so much that we returned to the hotel after having spent a week visiting nearby islands.

The hotel is renovated and the building itself is old, but it is very clean. The staff were all smiling and friendly. I also appreciated the complimentary rice balls at breakfast. The bus terminal and Ishigaki Port Terminal are also nearby, making it convenient. There doesn't appear to be a parking lot, so those with rental cars may need to check.

I've stayed here several times and really like it.
The rice balls for breakfast are delicious. The staff are very friendly.
It's also close to the remote island terminal and the bus terminal. It's also convenient for eating and drinking. I'm very satisfied with everything.

Location for trips to island is perfect. Breakfast sushi is wonderful which I like most. The scenery on the roof is very good. Only the room is small and no free car parking. Check in at 3pm and check out at 10am.

It's close to the remote island terminal, so it's convenient to walk there, and the staff are friendly, so I'm staying here for the second time. It's a wide twin room. The bath in the room seems to have some issues with draining (there is a sign explaining how to drain it), but since it's summer, I only used the shower and didn't feel any inconvenience. What I like most about this place is the rice balls for breakfast. They have a variety of ingredients, and they make them for you when you order. They're warm, like the rice balls your mother makes for you, and you can eat as much as you want. I had pork, stewed beef, and salted rice balls. Miso soup and drinks are self-service. The breakfast area is spacious and stylish. I stayed on a Sunday during summer vacation, and it cost just under 8,000 yen per person on Ikyu.

Good location, just across the bridge is the pier and airport bus. There is also a bus terminal behind the hotel to other destinations. There are also many restaurants nearby. There is a rooftop terrace with views of the harbour. Breakfast is Japanese rice balls, juice and coffee. A very good hotel

It’s a budget hotel and I got what I paid for. The location is good. Close to the terminal but not right at the restaurants area where drunk people make noise at night.

The staffs are nice and accommodating.

Some downsides are, there are pigeon morning calls everyday, breakfast is a little bit limited, the bathroom fixtures are old and can be noisy, the insulation is not good. Sometimes other hotel guests talk in hallway in the morning & at night, and I’m pretty sure I killed all the mosquitos everyday. But after room cleaning, there are mosquitos again so I think the cleaning staffs had the door wide open.

Nice hotel close to port and shopping area. Reasonably priced, basic and clean. Bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful.

Our plan was to do some island hopping around Ishigaki so we didn't need a resort with lots of recreational amenities since we would not be spending much time within the hotel. We spent 4 nights here and the experience was great. Nothing fancy as this seems to be a typical modern Japanese hotel upgraded from the 80's. The art gallery and overall vibe of the hotel hip and edgy. Our room was clean, comfortable and well kept. The location can't be beat as it is only a few minutes walk from the main pier. And each day we wound down with the spectacular sunset viewed from the roof.

I dont like the room without enough nature light. The window vis facing wall with some green decoration. If no riverview and i think at least a view from the street. It has a public bath. It has one outdoor and one indoor pool. If they provide body cream that would be great. Staff are nice but need to line up in the checkin counter even just ask questions.
