ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort by IHG, Ishigaki1 / 26
9.1
Ishigaki, 354-1 Maesato (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I can’t wait to come back here in a high season to do more marine activities and enjoy beautiful ocean of Okinawa
The beach aeea is not as perfect from watching other previous previews, with sea water wasn't as crystal clear and sands are rather coarse
The hotel's shuttle service only operates at specific times. Overall, it was okay, but there were noticeable stains on the sofa in our room. The staff offered to change our room, but we declined due to the hassle
However, I also tried the Teppanyaki dinner and it was just very average. The air conditioning was not enough at that restaurant and the food was very average quality and taste but it was very expensive
This hotel is no doubt the best resort in Ishigaki Island. It has a big resort style with exclusive feel. There are a few buildings so make sure you pick the right one for your needs
I chose the newest building facing the ocean. The room has nice ocean view and can also see the pool underneath. The balcony is also good as it allows you to hang clothes to dry

Ishigaki, 559 Okawa (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The availability with massage shops, souvenir shop, spa and sauna, swimming pool, bar and restaurants are very comprehensive and you can just enjoyed all kinds of amenities by staying in this one single hotel
The staffs are friendly and it is to great pleasure with the tour centre inside inside the hotel which you can easily book a lot of outdoor activities without worrying all the transportation arrangements
Very satisfied with this hotel. Swimming pool, onsen, decent rooms, nice breakfast, Misaki beef yakiniku, bus stop right in front of hotel, friendly receptionists, all included.
There are some restaurants nearby the hotel as well which also serve as a very good alternative for dining options
Good location, near to Ishigaki ferry terminal where vendors pick up and drop off participants for water activities, however parking spaces in the main carpark are always full and the second carpark is quite a distance away
Hotel locates near the city centre/ terminal. They owns two parking lots which you will not find any difficulty in parking. Breakfast was delicious with variety options. Staff speaks both Japanese and English

Ishigaki, 4-9 Misaki-cho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room is actually not that roomy, however, it is reasonably clean. Floor space is lacking for 2 adults with barely enough room to open two suitcase
Our tour guide mentioned that the breakfast here is also excellent, but we didn't have enough time during our trip to add it to our package
This was my accommodation after a marathon. The large public bath was a great bonus, and I was very satisfied.
There are 3 different buildings in this hotel, please make sure you choose the "Misaki Wing", as it is the newest building and it will face the ocean terminal side
But it was not a busy season and there are so many rooms in this hotel
This is rather a chaotic situation and can be easily solved if the hotel can simply allow guest to check-in earlier. I was there 30 mins early and was told I cannot check-in and need to wait

Toyoko Inn Okinawa Ishigaki jima, Ishigaki1 / 30
8.2
Ishigaki, 3-2-12 Hamasaki-cho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
An excellent hotel with excellent breakfasts and very friendly staff. Beautiful views of the sea and port. The hotel is located away from all the tourist spots, but still within walking distance
It's a little far from the city center and the bus terminal, so if you have a lot of luggage and want to go out to eat, it's a bit of a walk. There are restaurants nearby, but they're limited in number
It was quiet and peaceful during the day, and it was pleasant to stroll near the hotel in the evening
The room was reasonably spacious and clean, so there were no problems. Smoking was allowed in the room, so the smell permeated the futon and other items, which was disappointing
Nice price and perfect facilities but a little walking distance from the town
Great accommodation for the business traveller

The hotel has a sea view across the street, and I found it fascinating how the pool seemed to be connected to the ocean. Dinner included a barbecue and a formal course meal
The waiters are very friendly, the environment is very clean, the view to the sea is unbeatable and worth the money, and the hotel has a lot of breakfast options!
The hotel has friendly staff and beautiful environment. The outdoor swimming pool offers a beautiful view of blue sky and white clouds. The room is very clean and the breakfast has a variety of choices and is delicious
The hotel is clean and comfortable, the hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the security is very strict. 👍 On the first night, we walked-in to the hotel restaurant for dinner
The beach walk and the view from the pool in the front yard were amazing! I also had a wonderful time gazing up at the starry sky while swaying in a hammock. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time
Since the barbecue was fully booked, I opted for the course meal, which was fantastic! Breakfast was also delicious, and the surrounding area was well-maintained, making it a great place to take pictures

Ishigaki, 154-12 Kabira, 907-0453 Isigaki, Prefektura Okinava, Yaponiya (14 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel has a lot of water activities, which is very convenient. You can also make reservations on the day during non-golden times. The sunset on the west-facing sea view is beautiful
We stayed in the villas, which were very nice, but the only flaw was the cleanliness, which could be improved. The bed linens and first towels smelled absolutely awful, which was unpleasant
This hotel is incredible!!! The rooms are super big and the view is surreal!!!! Every time I look at the view I got blown away!!! Staff are super friendly too
There were a few stains on various older furniture. The service and staff were very good, and breakfast and dinner were excellent
The hotel is obviously quite old, and you can strongly feel its age when you check in, but it is well maintained! The scenery should account for half of the vacation, because the scenery is excellent, facing the endless sea, but it rained heavily on the first night and the weather was not very good, which wasted this great advantage! In terms of location, there are no restaurants, shopping, or even...
It rained a lot, and some paths were flooded for days, meaning rubber sandals and shorts were essential. The cottage with a whirlpool tub on the terrace was lovely and spacious

free parking good room condition nice drinking corner for arrival location good and quiet area
The smell and dampness of the first room bothered me a lot, so I asked and they changed my room, which I was very grateful for
Apart from this, they were generally willing to accommodate any requests, so even though the facilities and cleanliness were just average, I was very satisfied
◎ Also, although I wasn't able to participate in most of them, they also held seasonal events, such as New Year's Eve soki soba, bingo games, countdown events, and sacred sake at the beginning of the year
There's a hot spring to soak in, a washing machine and dryer, and the front desk staff are friendly. The rooms in the main building have a slightly old smell, but the air conditioning is very strong and cold
The location is ok, the room the hygiene is nice. The man at reception tried in every way to help arrange transportation which helped my journey more convenient. 👍🏻

The BREAKFAST HOTEL PORTO Ishigakijima, Ishigaki1 / 30
8.7
Ishigaki, Tonoshiro 67 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great breakfast! There is free sashimi, local diary products, and such a great price for value for the wide variety of food! The location is great, located jn the quieter neighbourhood, only 5-10 mins walk to the city centre and pier!
the breakfast and evening alcohol are really amazing. sushi supplied in the breakfast was even better than those we got the other day from a local restaurant LOL room is big and tidy with a cloth washer inside
It was a nice experience staying here. I also found that the hotel works well on soundproofing from outside, though I heard some sounds from the hallway. The location is close enough to the central area
Good location and some nice touches like the evening welcome drink. The breakfast was food, but I had higher expectations regarding the variety of dishes based off the hotel’s name
They even provide you with the laundry detergent. Super useful as we are going out for snorkeling and biking every day. definitely would advise for all
Best breakfast ever! Great location and good facilities in room!

I stayed with a friend. The 24-hour drink service and amenities were great. The breakfast was delicious, featuring local dishes. The location is great, so I'd definitely stay again.
It was a very comfortable stay. If the room was a little bigger and had a queen or king size bed it would have been perfect!
Just everything. I stayed there last year and am happy to use the hotel every visit as a base.
We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour organized by a major travel agency. It's conveniently located near the remote island terminal, making it a reasonably priced hotel
The complimentary breakfast buffet is great, as are the free soft drinks (including ice cream) and free in-room VOD streaming
The delicious milk and soft cream are thanks to Yaeyama Genki Dairy, a local dairy company well-known on Ishigaki Island

It's very convenient, close to the remote island terminal, bus center, and downtown. The facilities are old, but the rooms were well-cleaned and clean. The bathroom was spacious and there was no inconvenience
I stayed for two nights, and although the room wasn't cleaned, there was a towel set hanging on the door handle when I returned home, and I was given a drink voucher. However, I wonder if the walls are thin
The hotel is very close to the city, which is super convenient for those without public transportation. A higher floor would certainly offer a better view, but I still found it wonderful
Excellent location near the pier with bus terminals. A little aged hotel but still maintained to be tidy. They provide a new set of towels if you put on the sign of “Do not disturb”. Good balcony with stunning view
The floor of the bathtub is a little blackened, making it difficult to fill with hot water and get in, so it would be better if it was a little cleaner
Breakfast varied slightly over the three days. It was a very relaxing and relaxing experience. I think I've fallen in love with Ishigaki Island!

Japanese-style rooms are more comfortable and convenient than Western-style rooms. The rooms are small, but they have everything. There's also a laundry service and a happy hour. Free drinks are also available
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good lots of variety. Accommodation light and airy , very clean , Bike hire very cheap. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends
The room was clean and spacious enough to flatten a 28-inch suitcase, and it also had a small dining table, an induction cooker, and a double-layer refrigerator
It is very close to the station and the pier. It is very convenient for dining and shopping downstairs. I will choose CUCULE again next time I have the chance
The location is excellent, making it convenient for buying souvenirs, finding food, and catching boats
The staff were very attentive; when I asked at the front desk if they had any chafing ointment because I had a blister on my heel, they kindly inquired about the severity of the injury and proactively provided disinfectant for me to treat

Jusandi, Ishigaki1 / 28
8.4
Ishigaki, 470 Fukai (13 km from centre) 🧭 Map
What an amazing find! A paradise tucked away in the Ishigaki jungle and overlooking the sea. Our villa was large, airy and immaculate with its own outdoor pool and a large indoor tub overlooking the garden
Jusandi occupies a plot of land not far from the sea - only a few hundred meters from the nearest beach - but from anywhere on the property, including the villas, there is essentially no sea view
We have never actually gone into the cave - time constraints, often-rough seas on the island's northern side, and the fact that we have already visited plenty of brilliant blue waters in places like Belize, the Philippines, and the cenotes of Mexico made it easy to pass this up
One of Jusandi's most appealing visual elements is its architecture. The structures are predominantly white, evoking Mediterranean villages and lending the property a soothing, minimalist feel
This time we stayed in the 100m² two-bedroom pool villa, Yarabu, which addressed some of those spatial issues - even if much of the additional area is devoted to the second bedroom
Our main reason for returning, however, was the food, and on that front the experience sadly did not live up to the high standard we remembered from five years ago

I was talking about an airline ticket tour. It's my first time to Ishigaki Island, just drive down the dark road from the airport and get off in front of the museum. I liked how the room was designed in an American style
Staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay. Close to the town center.
Breakfast is also a buffet so I think it's good value for money.
I was told that I could have a one-time cleaning for a one-week eco-friendly stay, but they forgot to do so. Also, all rooms have balconies, but they are all facing the street, so you can see the veranda completely
Hmm. Good location. Service is also good. Everyone's response was good. The furniture in the room was worn out and unusable. I really only used it for sleeping, so it wasn't too bad.
In addition, the entertainment district is nearby, breakfast is included, and laundry is free

The staff are extremely helpful and attentive, and smiley. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were like a banquet. Has the best filet wagu streak at the hotel and lovely good quality sparkling wine
Nice view, clean room and delicious food. Owner is very nice and we played hanabi with his daughter 😆. Right hand side from the beach you may found several private beach, you can feel a high privacy there
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in order to explore the area. We had room 7 which was a corner room with a view of the beach and a bath overlooking the beach which was absolutely wonderful
From the very first moment, you can feel that they care about making tourists feel comfortable. The cuisine is interesting and worth trying. I recommend booking dinner in advance. The sea view and beach are fantastic
The private beach is wonderful. If you're lucky, you might even see sea turtles.
The room was very spacious and light, with all mod coms you need, even a Dyson hairdryer. It was very clean and well serviced with towels, water, coffee pods and toiletries

We even bought some Wagyu beef from the supermarket and fryed it—a real treat! There's also afternoon tea every day from 2 to 6 pm, featuring all-you-can-drink beer, red wine, white wine, and more! We also had BlueSeal ice cream in flavors like vanilla, red taro, lemon, and chocolate, as well as other small cookies
It was truly a treat to have afternoon tea while gazing out at the seaside. 😎 The breakfast was quite exquisite, with set meals available to order, and a buffet of salads, drinks, and bread
If there were any communication issues, they could easily communicate with them using their mobile phone translator! The room was huge, big enough for kids to play hide-and-seek! 🐱 There was also a washing machine, which was convenient for drying clothes on the balcony; in good weather, they were dry the next day! 😆 All amenities were available and restocked daily
The room was so spacious that we had more than enough space, and the interior was beautiful everywhere. The view from the balcony was amazing, and gazing out at the sea and sky in the morning was truly relaxing
I'm from the countryside, so I should have been used to it, but when I checked in, there was a huge spider in front of the entrance, a small spider in the entrance as soon as I entered the room, and a tiny gecko in the living room at the back
The amenities were good, the bedding was fine, and the room was clean! Every room except the living room is spacious and has two, so it would be great for friends, two families, or two households! The best thing about this place is that the planes fly right overhead, and very close by

It was a very good choice, especially the high-rise sea view suite, which was very large, with several sea views, a kitchen, a living room, complete facilities and cleanliness
This is where I stayed when I came to Ishigaki Island ten years ago. Lovely warm hotel at a very good value for money. Three meals a day can be solved in the hotel, the meals are great The hotel staff is very friendly
Helped me book a trip to Iriomote Island. Because of communication difficulties and price differences, they ran all the way across Ishigaki Island to get the refund sent to another hotel
This hotel is a mansion type. There isn't a big share bath. The bath inside the room is large to use.The shop at first floor has many local souvenirs.
The two-bedroom structure is particularly suitable for families with multiple people traveling together and living without disturbing each other
The space was spacious and the ocean was beautiful. I didn't use the microwave, but it seems like it would be convenient for a long stay.

They also provide a free airport pick-up and drop-off service
The smell of the air freshener was too strong, but everything else was good
I tried to go during Golden Week, but it was fully booked, so I rescheduled it to mid-May and stayed there for the first time in a while! This time I got an ocean view room, but it was on the very edge, so it was next to the laundry room and smoking area, which was a shame
My room was small yet comfortable. I found a hair in my bed when I arrived, I’m bald so I know it couldn’t have been mine. Outside of that the room was clean
Very eco friendly, the location is a short walk to all the restaurants and shops in the ishigaki port area about a 10 minute walk to the actual port if you are interested in going to remote islands
Convenient location, all the main places are less than 10 min walk (ferry terminal, bus station, shopping area). Very clean and spacious room, comfortable pajamas, free WiFi and good breakfast buffet
