Ishigaki, 4-9 Misaki-cho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This was my accommodation after a marathon. The large public bath was a great bonus, and I was very satisfied.
There are 3 different buildings in this hotel, please make sure you choose the "Misaki Wing", as it is the newest building and it will face the ocean terminal side. The room is actually not that roomy, however, it is reasonably clean. Floor space is lacking for 2 adults with barely enough room to open two suitcase. However, I would recommend this hotel considering its prime location to the terminal...
The location is fantastic. We stayed on a high floor in the Misaki Building, and our corner room offered views in two directions. The ferry terminal and a major bus stop are just across the street, and there's also a main bus stop right on the side of the building. The commercial district is conveniently located nearby too. This place is perfect for anyone looking to go island hopping around Ishigaki...
The location is excellent, right across from the ferry terminal. However, the hotel is a bit dated. The public bath was quite small and not very clean. Breakfast offered a good variety and was delicious. Soundproofing was only average, and if you're driving, parking comes with an additional fee.
The only minor issue was the humidity in the room. However, the location was superb, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The facilities were decent, and the breakfast was good.
The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a three-minute walk to the bus terminal, and there are many famous local shops nearby. Plus, the street right next door turns into a lively Izakaya street in the evenings. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and attentive; they always go out of their way to help us resolve any issues (they also offer services like taxi booking and car rental).

It's a little far from the city center and the bus terminal, so if you have a lot of luggage and want to go out to eat, it's a bit of a walk. It takes about 20 minutes. There are restaurants nearby, but they're limited in number. The room was reasonably spacious and clean, so there were no problems. Smoking was allowed in the room, so the smell permeated the futon and other items, which was disappointing...
The ferry terminal is about a 10-minute walk away, which is convenient. The breakfast wasn't what I expected, but the selection was good and the miso soup was delicious. There's only one elevator, so it might get congested. It was a great value for money.
It was a little further from the downtown area than other hotels, which was inconvenient. It was my first time there, so I didn't know the location. It was quite far away. Surprisingly, I was very satisfied.
The reliable Toyoko Quality Single rooms were all taken, and there were quite a few other guests, but it was quieter than I expected, which was nice.
I had a hearty breakfast, too.
The area is close to the port. It's a bit of a walk to the ferry terminal, buses, restaurants, and convenience stores, so be careful if you're walking.
There's only one elevator in the morning, so it did get a little crowded...
An excellent hotel with excellent breakfasts and very friendly staff. Beautiful views of the sea and port. The hotel is located away from all the tourist spots, but still within walking distance. It was quiet and peaceful during the day, and it was pleasant to stroll near the hotel in the evening.

The smell and dampness of the first room bothered me a lot, so I asked and they changed my room, which I was very grateful for.
Apart from this, they were generally willing to accommodate any requests, so even though the facilities and cleanliness were just average, I was very satisfied.
I went diving over the New Year, so taking a nap in the large public bath after coming back was the best.◎

Location is very convenient, the hotel also provides enough parking space, room was clean and tidy
There's a hot spring to soak in, a washing machine and dryer, and the front desk staff are friendly. The rooms in the main building have a slightly old smell, but the air conditioning is very strong and cold. A welcome drink is provided.
The location is convenient, there is a Family Mart convenience store across the street, and there are ample parking spaces.

It was a nice experience staying here.
The breakfast was excellent.
I also found that the hotel works well on soundproofing from outside, though I heard some sounds from the hallway.
The location is close enough to the central area.
Good location and some nice touches like the evening welcome drink. The breakfast was food, but I had higher expectations regarding the variety of dishes based off the hotel’s name
A value for money hotel and the breakfast was extremely good.
the breakfast and evening alcohol are really amazing.
sushi supplied in the breakfast was even better than those we got the other day from a local restaurant LOL
room is big and tidy with a cloth washer inside. They even provide you with the laundry detergent. Super useful as we are going out for snorkeling and biking every day ...
definitely would advise for all.
Best breakfast ever! Great location and good facilities in room!

I stayed with a friend. The 24-hour drink service and amenities were great. The breakfast was delicious, featuring local dishes. The location is great, so I'd definitely stay again.
It was a very comfortable stay. If the room was a little bigger and had a queen or king size bed it would have been perfect!
Just everything. I stayed there last year and am happy to use the hotel every visit as a base.
We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour organized by a major travel agency. It's conveniently located near the remote island terminal, making it a reasonably priced hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet is great, as are the free soft drinks (including ice cream) and free in-room VOD streaming. The delicious milk and soft cream are thanks to Yaeyama Genki Dairy, a local dairy company well-known...

Choosing Comfort Hotel was truly a delightful surprise. It was my first time visiting Ishigaki Island in Okinawa, and I picked this hotel based on reviews and its environment. I didn't expect the hotel to be so good overall, especially the rooms – they were spacious, clean, bright, and had windows that could be opened. The bathroom was also large, and the power outlets were conveniently placed, which...
The room was modern, clean and spacious! Great staff, and a good variety of breakfast choices. It’s not in the downtown or city center but just 10min drive from the port area, and very near to some of the big shops.
They had free beach towels in the morning and welcome drinks (coffee and tea) were available pretty much for the whole day, which was nice. The carpet in our room was heavily stained. It looked and smelled filthy. Breakfast was disappointing given the room price. Staff service was okay and as expected.
The location of the hotel was pretty good as it's between the airport and the city center. Walking...
Spacious rooms, comfortable environment, and a free breakfast make this a fantastic hotel. Plus, you get great views while enjoying breakfast!
Exceeded expectations, I'll definitely be back and will choose to stay there again. The self-check-in felt like opening a blind box, and I got the best room, 508. The window faces the sea directly 🌊, and the emotional value far outweighs the room price!❣️
Facilities: Relatively new. Given that Ishigaki Island has an average annual humidity of nearly 80%, the air conditioning in public areas is kept on 24/7. It's also recommended to keep the AC on in your room and avoid opening windows, as there are quite a few mosquitoes and bugs.
Cleanliness: Very clean, the level of cleanliness you'd expect from a business hotel. Nothing to complain about.

I stayed here on a business trip.
The ferry port is within a 5-minute walk, so it was great for going to remote islands. It's in a busy downtown area, so there are many restaurants and it was bustling. There's also a road right in front of the hotel, so there's a lot of traffic, but it was quiet at night. The inside of the hotel was clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you...
Stayed for two nights! ✨
I've stayed at various hotels and guesthouses in Ishigaki City, but this one was by far the best. First of all, it's conveniently located just three minutes from the remote island terminal, with easy access to the downtown area—the best location ever.
The hotel is also new and very clean. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection, and the menu changed daily, so I enjoyed it...
- Close to the airport, walking street, and pier
- 30-min bus ride airport
- Clean, and they do housekeeping everyday
- Breakfast included
- Onsen is clean with steam room
- Friendly staff
- Will stay here again :)
An old hotel having smell of local motels in the USA. However, well cleaned and all attendants are young and very responsive.

Great location, room was clean, some amenities in the lobby that you can take to your room. Some equipment is a bit dated, but everything is functional.
The hotel is very close to the city, which is super convenient for those without public transportation. It also faces the ocean. A higher floor would certainly offer a better view, but I still found it wonderful. Breakfast varied slightly over the three days. It was a very relaxing and relaxing experience. I think I've fallen in love with Ishigaki Island!
Excellent location near the pier with bus terminals. A little aged hotel but still maintained to be tidy. They provide a new set of towels if you put on the sign of “Do not disturb”. Good balcony with stunning view. Helpful staff.
This is my third time using this hotel.
I always use this hotel when I come to Ishigaki because the sunset looks beautiful.
This time, there was a luxury cruise ship as well, so I was able to look outside until the evening without getting bored.
The floor of the bathtub is a little blackened, making it difficult to fill with hot water and get in, so it would be better if it was a little cleaner.
However...
As mentioned before, this hotel has a prime location. There are numerous ways to make your stay pleasant in the city (see photos).
You can't rent bikes for free, but you can rent them directly from the hotel using an app and for a fee.
The lobby is also special and good.
Have fun
It was very easy to access from Ishigaki Remote Island Terminal, and I chose an ocean view room, so I had a very good stay.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful . Breakfast very good lots of variety . Accommodation light and airy , very clean , Bike hire very cheap . Beach towels provided.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends
Good location , close to jetty if you are in for diving.
The location is excellent, making it convenient for buying souvenirs, finding food, and catching boats. The staff were very attentive; when I asked at the front desk if they had any chafing ointment because I had a blister on my heel, they kindly inquired about the severity of the injury and proactively provided disinfectant for me to treat. Love! This is a cute budget hotel that’s thought of everything you might want for a happy stay. The room was clean. There was a washing machine, but unfortunately there was no dryer.
Room is spacious and the staff were friendly. We stayed for five nights, there are some restaurants close by, and a Family Mart and bus stops about a 10 minute walk away. Location wise, the hotel (if you don’t have a car), is pretty far from the port and main market, about a 25 minute walk. Overall though a great option and priced well.
If you've rented a car, this is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are large, have a balcony, and even a washing machine.
Great for families;because there are some laundry and drying equipment
If free laundry detergent can be provided; cutlery, preferably
This is my second stay in two months. The environment is nice and the location is convenient.
Parking is 1,000 yen a day, though.
I'll definitely stay again next time I visit.
The owner was very friendly. Although the room was a bit small, NT$2,000 was quite good for the summer vacation. It had a kitchen and a washing machine. It was a great value.

What a pleasant group of people running this small gem!
They are friendly and proactive. They offer what you want before you ask for it.
The establishment was clean and the food was amazing. We can’t wait to stay there again! Thank you!
Such a cute hotel with the most amazing location in Ibaruma. Not only is hotel great but the food is seriously SO good. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. They also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Will definitely return.
It’s the second time I come in this place and I felt like home.. all the people working there are so kind and sweet and they really take care of me and my family.
The chef has melt my heart when he showed all his joy to see me again there ❤️ I will come back in ishigaki and it will always be in Nata Beach 🙏🏻❤️

I was able to relax very well. The beach was also close by, which was great.
The dinner that was served as an extra was also delicious.

Good location, very close to shopping district. Breakfast was ok. However, the bed sheet was so disgusting. Some insects in the room as well. Reception staff can’t speak in English at all (Japanese only) I won’t stay in this hotel again.
I didn't eat there. There is no bathtub, only a shower, but that's not a problem. It's conveniently located near the downtown area.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay. Close to the town center.
Breakfast is also a buffet so I think it's good value for money.
I was told that I could have a one-time cleaning for a one-week eco-friendly stay, but they forgot to do so. There was nothing in return.
Also, all rooms have balconies, but they are all facing the street, so you can see the veranda completely. I never went out.
In addition, the entertainment district is nearby, breakfast is included, and laundry is free. I had no other complaints.
Hmm. Good location.
Service is also good. Everyone's response was good.

Staff were so nice. When I asked the recommendation for the restaurant which has live music, they gave me nice suggestions. Nice clean room!
I rented the Japanese room. It was really comfortable and we'll equipped (chair, desk beside futon). AC obviously available. Other commodities are available in the building and it's easy to park if you rent a car as I did.
Simple inn with a bit dated rooms (especially unit bath is very old), but very clean. Very friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but a good base for activities on Ishigaki, if you don't want to stay in the city. There is a very good restaurant/izakaya in the hotel and some other options in walking distance.
a nice and relaxed hostel. good for back packers
Calm and comfortable!
We stayed 5 nights at Jouya and we loved it! Everything was clean and calm we could really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of ISHIGAKI. There are also several diving centers around the hotel and during the night we could see stars on night sky on the rooftop. Definitely recommend for people that want an authentic island experience.

There is really nothing but only great things to say about Seven Colors. From the great service, comfortable room to a direct access to a private beach…. We had such wonderful time. Special thanks to all the staff members! Everybody is super hospitable. We love it so much that we are already planning to come back to Seven Colors next year.
