The hotel is great, not far from the airport, and the breakfast is excellent. It offers good value for money, so I highly recommend it. While the room isn't huge, it's very clean and perfect for solo travelers.

The hotel is located near the Kagoshima Shiroyama Observatory, and the environment is quite pleasant. The room was on the smaller side, especially the shower area, which was the smallest I've encountered on this trip – I kept bumping my head and back while showering. There's a shuttle van service between the parking lot and the hotel, and breakfast was very hearty.

I booked a room with a view of Sakurajima, and it was like a painting; I could see the volcano and sunrise just by opening the curtains. The hot spring bath area was quite large overall, but the outdoor section felt a bit small. Breakfast was very crowded, with many locals staying there. The service in general was friendly and flexible, and the shuttle bus was very convenient.

An absolutely perfect hotel! There's a shuttle bus every half hour to the station and the Tenmonkan shopping area. Plus, you can buy a cute pass for a one-day tour right at the front desk, which is super convenient. The hotel is also just a short walk up to Shiroyama Observatory, offering amazing views.

After taking the airport bus to Central Station, you can find the hotel shuttle bus stop within 30 meters. The shuttles from Shiroyama and Hilton alternate. It takes about 30 minutes to get up the hill, and the full view of Sakurajima suddenly appears before your eyes. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is quite old-money. During my three-night stay, I encountered about two forum conferences, two weddings, and several team-building groups, but the service remained smooth and orderly. In terms of local standing, it's probably comparable to the Garden Hotel in Shanghai. The room I stayed in this time was excellent value for money. Although it wasn't a mountain-view room, the hotel has several observation decks, and you can even watch the sunrise and sunset over Sakurajima while soaking in the hot springs. The room amenities, tea bags, and coffee were all well-stocked, and the toilet paper, in particular, was not thin.

Extremely satisfied! The environment is great, and the breakfast is delicious. I'll definitely stay here again next time. A special shout-out to the outdoor hot spring – you can see Sakurajima from there, and I went twice a day. It wasn't crowded at all, absolutely worth it!

A truly distinguished experience. It feels like royalty once graced these halls. The reception staff exude the professionalism of the Imperial Hotel, and the hotel itself is luxurious and well-maintained. We chose it because of the shuttle bus from the bus terminal opposite JR Station, which made sightseeing very convenient. The onsen doesn't require reservations, and while photos aren't allowed inside, there's a designated viewing platform for pictures.

Areas for improvement: Housekeeping needs better training. The person who cleaned my room that day really needs to improve. The cleaning quality was equivalent to a 3-star hotel in China or below, the worst I've encountered in Japan, a shame given the excellent facilities. The housekeeping service was below a 2-star level in China. The water bottle in my room had clearly been used by the previous guest, with about two-thirds remaining, meaning it definitely hadn't been replaced. I always travel with my own sleeping bag and water, so I didn't want to bring it up with the front desk to avoid any awkwardness.

This is an excellent hotel, nestled in the mountains with a viewing platform, hot springs, and a forest. It's beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable.

The lady who checked us in spoke ********* Mandarin; she was beautiful and meticulous, escorting us to our room and explaining all the details.

The hotel's free shuttle bus service is truly fantastic, making it easy to get around Kagoshima city.

Breakfast especially blew me away! Who would have thought that besides the usual Japanese breakfast offerings, there was also pan-fried sablefish, sea bream sashimi, and sea bream chazuke (rice with tea)? As someone who loves Japanese breakfast, I was thoroughly satisfied!

The views of the bay and the volcano are absolutely stunning, 'picturesque' doesn't even begin to cover it!

My room type was a garden view twin, so I couldn't see the volcano or the sea. It was all about value for money, at around 600-700 RMB per night. The room was spacious enough (by Japanese standards), and the luggage rack could fit two medium-sized suitcases. The bathroom was also quite large.

If you want to see the volcano, you can head to the courtyard or walk five minutes to the Shiroyama Observatory. You can soak in the large hot spring bath while looking at the volcano, but we only took a quick look around the baths and didn't really try them out, so I can't comment much.

The hotel shuttle bus runs every half hour, which is pretty convenient. The city view bus stop is near the Shiroyama Observatory. Just ask the receptionist at the hotel lobby on the 4th floor how to get to the observatory; we turned left then right and it was a five-minute walk.

By the way, the city view bus route is a bit winding and there aren't many buses. It's better to take the JR to Sengan-en. The JR has a stop right at the entrance of Sengan-en, and the platform itself is the best spot to view Sakurajima.
