This is a fantastic location for tourists in Kumamoto. It's very close to the castle, shopping and good eating and drinking places.
The staff were friendly and helpful and there is free coffee.
The room is the largest we had in Kyushu - with a sofa and TV watching area.
However, this might have been the worst nights sleep of our trip - the walls are thin and we could hear children running and screaming next door, also there was the sound of running water at night, which kept me awake.

The location was superb, within only 10 mins’ walk from major shopping facilities. There are also a multitude of quaint cafes and boutiques in the vicinity of the hotel, all of which deserve a visit. I really appreciate the hospitality and amiability of the staff here, who recommended a ton of good places that locals would go to. Thanks!

The hotel is located near Kumamoto Castle. Although you live on the 5th floor of the hotel, you cannot directly see Kumamoto Castle (there are other buildings blocking it in front). There are many parking lots near the hotel, and car rentals are available. There is a shopping street next to the hotel, which is very convenient.

Even though it was an old hotel, the interior was very clean and I felt good. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. The parking lot was a little far away, which was inconvenient.

It's a historic hotel, the front desk was very friendly, the baths were clean, and the rooms were very spacious.

The location is great, close to major temples, the castle, and the shopping area. Staff were quite friendly and room was clean. It was a shame that the restaurant was closed due to new year.
