2 star hotels in Nagasaki

This hotel probably saw it’s heydey in 1988 but it’s still comfortable and well located. The beds and bedding are super comfy with buckwheat pillows. The best part about the hotel is their onsen. It’s huge and has the hottest water I’ve yet experienced in Japan. Location is close to the foot bath and lots of izakayas. Highly recommend Obama Style Izakaya around the corner.

A bit odd checking in to a neighbouring hotel, issues with door lock batteries soon overcome, it was a fabulous base for exploring the coast, inland volcanoes, food and especially the recently reviewed Tourist Information which surely was the best I’ve ever encountered.

The hotel is right on the seaside, and the rooms are large, but the facilities are a bit old. There is a little gecko accompanying you at night If you are here specifically for travel, this hotel is not suitable. If you are just making a transition, it is a good choice.

The hotel is just right next to the bus terminal. Though it’s old, everything is clean and tidy. The front desk staff is all friendly and eager to help.

It exceeds expectations for the price. And they assigned me the best room.

The hotel is in a good location. There is easy parking, boiled eggs, free water, and free ice cream in the onsen. The hotel is not very new, but the facilities are complete.

Have public bath, really clean and people at reception are very helpful. A very good spot for any traveler!

Nestled right opposite a shopping arcade and within minutes walk from the City Tram, this capsule hotel is clean and comfortable! You can rent a humidifier from the front reception, and there is also a hot bath where you can relax after a days walk! Right behind the hotel is Chinatown, and there is a 7-11 too! Will stay here again when I come back to Nagasaki. Highly recommended as it's value for money

The hotel is located in the same building as the underground station as well as Donki. Worth it for a short stay for a solo trip.

Situated in a lively area, there are plenty of places to eat nearby. There's also a shopping centre nearby with a wide variety of stores. Public transport is also easy, with bus and tram stops nearby. The staff is friendly and speaks excellent English, and we had no problems checking in. Thank you, First Cabin! ❤️

It was great that it was in the perfect location.

Located close to Kankodori Station, it's the perfect place to stay and have a drink. There's also a bath so you can relax after a day of sightseeing.

We used this restaurant for a memorial service. Although the building was old and worn, it was clean. The meal was a kaiseki meal, and the seasoning was excellent overall, especially the crunchy freshness of the sashimi. The cooking method also had a retro-modern feel.

Love the location Saint Hill, hotel offers the good spacious room and lots of amenities. Parking is not free but have affordable rate for guests. Highly recommend

I was impressed by how thorough the room cleaning was. The facilities themselves are not new, but I believe it is thanks to the staff's daily work that the rooms are kept so clean. The service of being able to choose the shampoo was also great. I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

The hotel kindly upgraded us to a Japanese-Western style room, which was very comfortable.

I stayed here during the Nagasaki Lantern Festival. The location was great and it was perfect for sightseeing. The food was also delicious.

I made a reservation because it said breakfast was included, but the receptionist told me that there is no breakfast for stays on Sundays.

It was nice that breakfast was included and that the bus stop to the airport was nearby. However, the mirror was dirty and the room lock was a bit of a hassle as it didn't auto-lock with a key. I thought the service was good.

The location is not bad, and the price is also good. If you get a smoking room, it smells a lot. I recommend getting a non-smoking room. It is good that you can leave your key and go out.

It was my second stay and the breakfast was good.

It's an old hotel, but it's well-maintained, so the rooms are clean. You will be healed by the relaxed atmosphere of the front desk.

just nice but do not expect comfort and privacy since it is a guesthouse. suitable for solo traveler or who on budget trip.

I didn’t receive a code for get in at the first. But super friendly people in reception. Great location, maybe the air conditioning during the night was too strong..very cold even with pijama and Nordic blankets.

I like it, guest are generous and the place is very accessible, just a few steps and voila your there China town.,

The private space at your bed is really good to have, would stay here again if i came back to nagasaki

The room is clean and cosy, free breakfast provided. The only one thing might be challenging is there is no elevator but my bed is on fourth floor 😆

One of the best places to stay. Very chilled, quiet, nice and with amazing jam toasts in the morning. The issue for some may be that you should climb the third floor which may be a challenge with a big suitcase. Apart from that nothing serious. It is also close to Chinatown.

It is a very nice hostel with a great comfortable room. Only the step to enter my room is quite dangerous. It should be changed. Very nice toilet.

This hostel has some genuinely strong points, but also several issues that stop it from being a great stay. It’s very much a mix of highs and lows. The positives: The common room is comfortable, with very good sofas and fast Wi-Fi (though it occasionally drops out — a router upgrade would easily fix this). There’s a shared kitchen with a labelled fridge, and the location is excellent for exploring...

Amazing hostel! Very nice staff, and the location is just great! There is a train station just in front of the hostel.

You can spend the entire stay without meeting any staff from check-in to check-out. It's great for a place to just sleep, as it's cheap and well-equipped. There's a shower and toilet in the room, which is convenient. There's also a washing machine and dryer. The only thing that's a bit of a hassle is that you can't exchange money and you have to remove the sheets.
