My room is at the old building which I was not informed before I was assigned. I thought they should email me. I was so confused where to check in because lack of communication. Most of the staff, if non japanese, does not give clear information, I felt like they are part-time or work for fun, especially in dining area.
Great stay, room was really comfortable and saw activities for kids i guess. Feels like club med i suppose.
There's a wide variety of activities to enjoy around the property. For instance, even small children can ride the buggies, so it's an activity the whole family can enjoy together. The 'Island Pay' e-money, which can be used at shops throughout the island, offers excellent value: you get 2,000 yen in points when you charge 10,000 yen. Plus, it's incredibly convenient not having to carry your wallet...
The location is a bit off the beaten path, making it ideal for self-driving tourists. Due to its proximity to nature, you might occasionally encounter a few insects in the rooms, but the hotel is generally clean and well-maintained. It boasts a wide array of recreational facilities, along with services such as restaurants, hot springs, and massages. The pricing is reasonable, offering good value for...
i like this hotel. the food is very good quility..room is so wide😀i want to come back again..
My absolute favorite place to visit! The staff's genuine kindness is truly heartwarming. Three distinct spas, each offering its own unique charm. You can feel their sincere desire to go the extra mile for guests.

Very convenient location in Chinatown. Parking just around the corner, very decent pricing when you get the voucher from reception at checkout. Nice onsen on the roof with outdoor baisin
The hotel environment is great and the location is excellent. It was just during Chinese New Year, so it was a bit hard to find parking. The hot springs were really relaxing, though. I'll definitely come back next time.
I particularly liked the sky spa which was clean and gave me a sense of relaxation after a day of sightseeing.
The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic! It’s on a quiet pedestrian street just two minutes from Chinatown, and there are tons of great restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff is very supportive. The only downside? The elevators are slow - be prepared to wait a while.
Nice hotel with a strategic place and room so clean and near to city
We are coming with family occupied two rooms. Front office staff are very nice and arrange us on the same floor. The rooms are big enough to open two large suitcases. The double bed is so huge that can sleep three people. The only complaint is the car park arrangement, this information need to post in the website for us to aware in advance as the carpark is not on the same building and there is no...

Hotel is quite old especially the bathroom.my kids dont like their shower.extra fee for car parking.
The air conditioning is ancient! It's hard to control the water temperature in the bath! The room is too far away! The price for the buffet was different from what was listed on the website! The staff who handled foreigners were good, though!
Hotel is on the mountain with very good view of the whole harbour! Breakfast included was very good with plenty choices of food! Staff are very helpful and car park provided is reasonable! Down side of this hotel are the condition if the whole hotel was too old and out of maintenance, I been here 8 years ago while the decoration and interior are still the same old fashioned design from maybe 2 decades...
Nice Japanese style hotel Clean and good service Night view is great
There was a cockroach in the room, which made me question the thoroughness of the cleaning.
The building was old, and the room itself seemed like it hadn't been used in quite some time; for instance, the kettle was too dirty to even consider using. The air conditioning was also an older, portable unit. I did develop a slight cough starting the next day, which made me a bit worried, but thankfully, it didn't turn into anything serious, and I was able to continue with my sightseeing plans.

This place is located in Nagasaki's Chinatown, so it's at least a 30 minute walk from Nagasaki station which can be inconvenient with luggage/heavy bags. A taxi ride via a taxi outside Nagasaki station should be between 1,200-1,300 JPY one way to this hotel. The location is convenient depending on if you like walking and where you plan to explore in Nagasaki. There are self check-in kiosks in the...
Location is great. Breakfast buffet spread were amazingly delicious and good. Love the indoor onsen spa full facilities. Quiet and nice environment except the room is a little dusty and bathroom sink has a bit of Urine smell. Good stay and will consider staying here again for the amazing breakfast spread and onsen spa. Hotel is generous to supply complimentary laundry washer at no charge. Dryer is...
Great breakfast! Unfortunately the room was not very clean full of dust on surface. Also the room smelled like a smoking room though it's a non smoking one. Onsen and late night snack were really nice.
I've become a huge fan of Dormy Inn hotels! They offer incredible value for money, featuring hot springs, a generous breakfast, and even complimentary late-night ramen along with other sweet treats. Their locations are almost always prime, and this Nagasaki branch is no exception. It's less than a 300-meter walk from the airport bus stop, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. Plus...
The air conditioning is individually adjustable and gets nice and cold. The shower pressure is good, and the bathroom was very clean. The mattress was comfortable, though the pillows could have been a bit higher. The quiet environment made it very easy to fall asleep. The room itself was spotless and had no unpleasant odors. The staff were exceptionally polite and always had bright, welcoming smiles...
They have an onsen, and complimentary ramen is available in the evenings. The breakfast spread is exceptionally generous. Located right in Shinchi Chinatown, our room even offered a direct view of the entrance sign. The automated check-in and check-out process is perfect for introverts.

Omura isn't a big city, but I was there for nine days on a business trip. This hotel was clean and comfortable, with a bath. While not close to the station, there are ramen and sushi restaurants nearby. A large supermarket, Donki, is a 15-20 minute walk away.
I liked the hospitality of the staff and their willingness to assist you.
Overall it was good, except the walls were thin and I could hear the neighbors snoring.
The location is good. There is a 7-11 store opposite, which is super convenient for shopping.

Clean, well appointed hotel with a fantastic night view of the city. There is however a big cemetery below the hotel which some what mars the fantastic views. A wonderful hotel! The room has a great view of the city, and the room itself is simply beautiful. If you're ever in Nagasaki, I definitely recommend staying here. My only advice is to take a car/taxi/bus, but don't walk to the hotel! Yes, Google Maps will show the walk is short and only involves a couple of stairs. But that's not true; I've experienced it firsthand.
The night view from my room was absolutely stunning! Perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.
The view from the hotel window was superb. I was extremely comfortable and felt safe.
The hotel was recently renovated, and the room, breakfast, night view, are surprisingly good!
The view was amazing, and the bath in the room was great too.

Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
Excellent stay in this hotel and staff is very helpful. Room is clean and looks recently renovated. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling; outdoor onsen was not crowded. Felt relaxed during my stay here 😄 Especially grateful to Mr Inoue, who was a great help in sorting out my booking issue. Great hospitality!
The service was great, but the facilities were lacking. The food was terrible; the kaiseki dinner was a 1-star at best. As a retiree who travels to Japan monthly, this was the worst food I've ever had at a Japanese hotel. Even the onsen wasn't as fantastic as people claim. However, Unzen is a lovely town with a charming rustic feel.
The dinner was well-seasoned, well-balanced, and plentiful, so I was very satisfied. It had been a while since I'd last enjoyed the hot springs, and they were as great as the reviews said.
The hot springs are fantastic, and the hotel is truly excellent value for money. The only downside is its location on the outskirts of town. However, if you're here for relaxation, you won't need to leave often, so this is truly the best ryokan.
It was my first time at Unzen Onsen! It's a little far from Unzen Jigoku, but it was a lovely inn surrounded by greenery. The water is a milky white sulfur spring, and there is a large communal bath and an open-air bath. I was looking forward to using the private bath, but it was an extra charge, so I gave up this time. The dinner and breakfast were so good I couldn't finish it! I was very satisfied
I love the dining experience. The place is very serene and peaceful and enable me to relax

We booked 4 rooms for 10 people stays. So far my family enjoyed the stay here to experience the traditional Japanese ryokan with dinner and breakfast. Food are delicious as well
Staffs are very polite. Room is very big. Good service.
The management is inflexible. Because of flight delays, the hotel refuses to accommodate guests who are delayed by a day. The only option is to cancel without a refund and rebook. However, the hotel claims it's a problem with the system and cannot do this. This lack of flexibility causes losses for guests, which is very unsatisfactory. We hope the management methods can be improved.
Service was great, although I feel like the hotel is targeted at more elderly travelers. Breakfast was pretty and tasty. Onsen feels a bit unrenovated. The garden and the pond are pretty also. Would generally recommend, especially if you like to be thrown back to the 80s (but like in a good way).
This ryokan left mixed feelings. We decided to walk from the bus stop to the ryokan, and that was a mistake. Along the way, we passed dilapidated and abandoned ryokans, one of which still had a wreath from a funeral. What we saw was truly terrifying. At the ryokan itself, we were greeted warmly. They took our suitcases and took us to our room. They treated us to cold matcha and canelé. I was shocked...
Europe style room decoration. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly. Looking forward to watch firework soon.

Service was excellent even though most staff had limited English. They were very helpful with queries and bookings. Awesome selection at breakfast, and dinners were amazingly well presented and delicious. Room was very clean though dated. Location is a bit out of the way but was right by the beach.
The location was great, right in front of the sea.
The hotel is located in the first row of the sea view. The scenery in the morning and evening is superb. The service staff is very friendly and the food is also very satisfactory. There is a bathhouse about five minutes' walk away (you can take a shuttle bus). We think it is great. There are two types of sea view and mountain view. The men's and women's baths will rotate on single and double days,...
Stayed in the standard double room. The room was huge, which is really surprising for Japan hotels. Everything was clean, it’s just that the hotel is a little old which shows in the style of the decorations, but the interior of the rooms were clean. Hotel had public baths and breakfast buffet came with the room we booked. Spread of the buffet was alright. Location wise, it’s nothing exceptional...
Amakusa is at the edge of Kumamoto, and transportation is inconvenient. You can take the Amakusa bus from Kumamoto, which takes two and a half hours on the road. There will be no group tours in this place, which is good. It is quiet and the hot springs are basically like a private place. The hotel facilities are relatively new, the sea view is extremely beautiful, and the hot spring water quality is...

The hotel is quite a classic one and is located next to a small mountain. The view from upper floor (our room was on the 9th floor) give your a really nice view of the Nagasaki bay. The dinner and break fast buffet are both winners! So much variety and fresh! Very impressive!
Very nice onsen hotel, onsen with good view but specific time period for male and female to use the pool with view at 11 floor. My dinner timing slot was specified to be  at 7:30-9pm but when a go in at 7:30pm sharp most other guests are already inside. At 8:30pm food are already gone!
The buffet is famous and I was looking forward to it. However, I was disappointed with only two types of finely chopped sashimi, three types of thin nigiri, and vegetable tempura. The value for money is not good. Also, if I had known that students on a school trip would be staying there, I would have avoided it. The view from the rooftop open-air bath was amazing, so it's a shame.
The bath with a view was very nice. The facilities were old and in poor condition.
Very dated. The breakfast and dinner buffets are mediocre. Very good: We complained about the worn-out chairs in the room. They were immediately replaced with very good new ones.
The facilities in the room are a bit old, but it is very clean and the room is relatively large. There is a tatami next to the window, where you can lie down and look at the street view of Nagasaki. There is an open-air natural hot spring on the top floor of the hotel. You can soak in the hot water and watch Nagasaki, which has a great view.

Service is excellent. Breakfast and dinner are both tasty with different varieties.
Very nice onsen hotel, with both an indoor and outdoor onsen, and they provide yukata as well. Rooms are very authentic, and the hotel is located around 10 minutes walk from the town centre but right across the bus stop for buses from Nagasaki and to Shinabara
The onsen was fantastic, the location is really convenient, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming
The hotel's service is excellent, and we recommend booking the kaiseki course as well. Breakfast and hot spring baths, both indoor and outdoor, and family baths are all included in the room rate.
The hotel annex has 7 rooms and a private outdoor hot spring, which is convenient for those who do not like to soak in the hot spring in a public bath. The hotel staff can communicate in English, making it very suitable for tourists who do not speak Japanese!
The location is extremely convenient, with a bus stop right outside and the transit station and the Kaminita Pass station just a 10-minute walk away! Good Hotel within therae views
Quite a climb up, beautiful view and a very nice Japanese room.
It was a little inconvenient because it was not a card key. The facilities are a little old because they seem to be an old building, but the view is very good because it is located on the side of a mountain. Of course, the Inasayama Observatory is also close. It is not a distance to walk to the observatory~ It is relatively close. They were kind and nice~
If you plan to go to Mt. Inasa, it is definitely worth staying here. It is about 1/3 of the way to the observation deck. I got off the JR and walked up the small road. It was around 8pm. I was so scared... But I felt so refreshed the next day. In addition, the room was so big and there was a big bath. It was just over 200 RMB. I can only say it was worth it! It's close to Nagasaki Station, and the Nagasaki bus stop is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient. The exterior looks old, but the inside is brand new, clean, and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, and I had a very pleasant stay.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very polite, and check-in and check-out were smooth. The location was good, and the surrounding area was quiet, so I was able to rest comfortably. Overall, it was good value for money, and I would like to stay again.
The lock is an old-fashioned type, but it doesn't bother me. It seemed like there were students staying on the floor above, so there was quite a lot of vibration. It was fine during bedtime, but it was annoying all the time.
I got lost on the way there, but I managed to get there. I parked in the underground parking lot and when I checked in, the staff greeted me with a smile. The breakfast was delicious and filling. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance to visit Nagasaki city.
Although it is an old building, the bathroom and toilet have been renovated and are clean. There are many beautifully bound popular manga in the lobby on the first floor, making it a great place to kill time. The staff were also kind and I would like to use it again.

I was quite disappointed with this booking made via Trip.com. I specifically booked a Deluxe Japanese Western style room with an outdoor hot bath, as the outdoor hot bath was a key reason for choosing this room. Overall, it was fantastic! The only slight disappointment was that the soup served with dinner was lukewarm. On the bright side, I was really happy that both bathhouses had a shampoo bar! ( *´꒳`*)
I booked a corner room to enjoy the Nagasaki city view, and it was absolutely stunning—honestly the highlight of my stay. The staff were very friendly, and there were team members who specifically assisted international guests and spoke excellent English. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy a panoramic view of Nagasaki, and soak in an onsen, this is definitely the hotel to stay at.
It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb. It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus...

The hotel was lovely with spacious guest rooms with lots of luxurious details. Fantastic hotel with a formal, old-time feel.
From the approach to the entrance, lobby, dining room, and library, everything is a photo spot.
