Toyoko Inn Nagasaki Ekimae, Nagasaki1 / 30

Nagasaki, 5-45 Gotomachi, 850-0036 Nagasaki, Prefektura Nagasaki, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Toyoko Inn always my first choice of admocation.
We stayed for 2 nights at the end of March. The main plus is the location: the hotel is literally right next to Nagasaki Station, which is convenient for transfers and generally as a base for exploring the city. There's a tram nearby, shops, everything is very compact. We were given a room on the 7th floor in the new building, typical for the Toyoko Inn chain: small, but clean and functional. It...
My first time trying Toyoko Inn, I thought I'd see it right outside Nagasaki Station, but it was actually a seven or eight-minute walk. The service is very standardized; check-in and check-out are done via machines, but there are staff members on hand to assist. Breakfast is very simple, but the room itself is pretty good, with a sufficiently large desk. The room has minimal decor, simple and neat...
The breakfast buffet, while not as extensive in variety or quantity as in more expensive hotels, was actually a plus. I didn't overeat or get overwhelmed by choices, and it was perfectly satisfying. It was also great to have free lockers in the lobby that I could use after checking out.
Nice location for shopping and sightseeing. The room at new apartments newly built or renovated is big and clean. Nice free coffee at the lobby. We have a great vacation and relax days.

Friendly staff that speaks good english. Luggage storage on the first floor that can be unlocked using ic card. Clean and extremely short distance from the train station, bus and trams.
JR Kyushu hotel Nagasaki is within walking distance to Nagasaki JR station and it is surrounded by shopping malls. We were grateful for the early check in at 1pm. The room is cozy and comfortable. The space is just nice for one large and one medium luggages. The toilet and amenities provided are great. Luggage storage was available after check out. Umbrellas was also available for rainy days.
The check-in and check-out procedures were conducted smoothly. The hotel is conveniently situated in close proximity to Nagasaki Station and the local city tram station. A convenience store and a shopping mall are located nearby, directly below the hotel. The hotel itself is located on the second floor of the shopping mall, requiring an escalator ride to access. The room was clean and spacious for...
Perfect location for a short holiday in Nagasaki! Entrance to hotel is linked to the mall and only a short walk from the Nagasaki station. Easily accessible to many places of interest via public transportation and plenty of food choices in the area.
JR Kyushu is right on the door step of the train station, a great hotel to use for visiting the sites of Nagasaki as well as the night life, room was quiet and comfortable
Nice and comfy. Looks vintage but the service was superb. Breakfast was delicious ✨

Very nice hotel in a great location. There are many restaurants and bars nearby, and the hotel has parking. The staff is very friendly.
Close to restaurants and a famous castella/ Japanese pastry shop
Nice hotel, good location. Providing on-site parking conveniently. A lot of food choices outside hotel.
The Nagasaki Shianbashi Richmond Hotel, a 3-star business hotel, underwent renovation in 2023 and boasts excellent overall quality. The hotel's strongest asset is its prime location – Shianbashi tram station is just a one-minute walk away, and JR Nagasaki Station is a quick 10-minute ride. The Hamamachi shopping district and Shinchi Chinatown are also within easy walking distance, making it incredibly...
Guests should be aware of the hotel's neighborhood and ensure it meets their preferences. Other than that, everything was quite good.
Great location. The hotel smells lovely and is very modern.

Nagasaki, 1-20 Edomachi, 850-0861 Nagasaki, Prefektura Nagasaki, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
* Room size is a little bit small * Breakfast food was quite delicious, but the food choices are too few * The location is so close to the tram and bus stop, so it's really helpful when traveling alone. * Many restaurants and there's a shopping mall too near the hotel. * Quite close to tourist spots
The hotel is very convenient and near to the tram station. It is a good price with a reasonable bed size.
This is a pleasant hotel located right next to Dejima, the former Dutch settlement, and less than 10 minutes away from Chinatown. A tram stop is also right opposite the hotel. My room was comfortable and clean. However, check-in is at 3pm and checkout is strictly at 10am, with a fee for an extra hour.
Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently right in front of the Ohato Station of the Nagasaki tramway system, and is a very walkable distance away from many attractions including Dejimamachi, Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown, and the Nagasaki Seaside Park. The cleanliness of the room and hallways was excellent and the front desk receptionists were kind and welcoming. The coin laundry room has 4 washing machines...
The position was excellent, trams right out front and lots tourist sites in walking distance. Lots shops nearby. The only complaint would be the size of the room. We could not pass each other between bed and cupboards and forget about opening your suit case

The hotel location was good, near Amu Plaza n Bus station.
Everything is ok, but room is too small. I need to manage 2 luggages by opening one of them at front door.
Staying near a central station is usually a drawback for me, but this place was an exception. The hotel sits right by a tram stop and is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and a big mall with high-end shops and dining. Check-in and check-out were easy since the station and the airport bus terminal are just steps away. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the guest amenities cover everything...
Good hotel with an enticing price. Up to par with other affordable, small business hotels you'd find across Japan. I appreciated the simple check-in and baggage storage options.
We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Wingport Nagasaki. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station and close to many shops and restaurants, which made getting around Nagasaki really convenient. Overall, a great place to stay and excellent value for the location!

This is the largest hotel I've stayed at in Japan, even bigger than ones costing 1300 yen. If you're coming to Japan, you absolutely must stay at this hotel in Nagasaki. The location is perfect, but there is no parking, so I parked nearby, but parking fees are high if you drive in and out. The room was small but clean.
It was a shame that there was no smartphone charging cord provided in the room. They did offer free rentals, but it was a bit of a hassle. The water pressure in the bath was fine, even at night, and the bathtub was fairly easy to get into, which was nice. It was still cold even with the air conditioning turned off in the room.
Since I was staying alone, the small room was not a problem, and in fact it was easy to use. I wanted to soak in the bathtub, so I brought bath salts, but it would have been nice if they had made it a free amenity that you could choose from. The shampoo, treatment, body shampoo, hand and face soap were not bad either. Instant coffee, powdered milk, and green tea bags were available in the room. There...

Located right next to China town and Shian bashi street so there are lots of restaurants and bars. About 5 min walk to the nearest tram stop and the airport limousine bus stop. Do not look any further. This is THE place to stay in nagasaki. Good locstion, nice people, modern hotel and excellent price
We had a great stay in this hotel. It’s close to train station and a lot of places to eat around. The hotel doesn’t provide parking space so we had to park at the public parking area near the hotel. It’s a great hotel overall.
Very convenient location across the JR station. Room was good but sometimes too overheated. Chose option without breakfast.
Wonderful stay at the hotel. Was very near Tram Station. Easy walk to the shopping mall. Room was small though like most hotels in Japan. But location made up for it.
The location is super convenient. It is across the nagasaki train station and In front of the tram stop. There are restaurants and 2 convenient stores near the hotel. The staff is also very friendly. It is also very central to travel to the different sightseeing locations. Recommended.
Smoke smell is strong, we have to keep straying air re fresheners whenever we go into the room. There is also some noise at night from outside which can be creepy given the light in the room is also not bright. But other than that, the location is super convenient to bus stop and everywhere, breakfast is agood. Decent stay for short travel.

This place is located in Nagasaki's Chinatown, so it's at least a 30 minute walk from Nagasaki station which can be inconvenient with luggage/heavy bags. Location is great. Breakfast buffet spread were amazingly delicious and good. Love the indoor onsen spa full facilities. Quiet and nice environment except the room is a little dusty and bathroom sink has a bit of Urine smell. Good stay and will consider staying here again for the amazing breakfast spread and onsen spa. Hotel is generous to supply complimentary laundry washer at no charge. Dryer is...
Great breakfast! Unfortunately the room was not very clean full of dust on surface. Also the room smelled like a smoking room though it's a non smoking one. Onsen and late night snack were really nice.
I've become a huge fan of Dormy Inn hotels! They offer incredible value for money, featuring hot springs, a generous breakfast, and even complimentary late-night ramen along with other sweet treats. Their locations are almost always prime, and this Nagasaki branch is no exception. It's less than a 300-meter walk from the airport bus stop, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. Exactly what you expect from a hotel in Japan. The 5/5 for location is due to nice closeness to the train station - perfect! The hotel is located between 2 tram stations. It’s also not far from You Me department store. The price is good for twin bed room with non-smoking. The wall is quite soundproof so barely hear noises from nearby rooms. The bathtub is fairly big comparing to other business hotels. The staffs are quite helpful and we do appreciated.

The location was amazing and the staff were very helpful.
The impression was neither good nor bad, in a good way. If I had to give one point, it would be that the rail for the shower curtain in the bathroom is oval (curved), which gives you a little more space when showering. I wish all accommodation facilities would adopt this.
The location was great, as it was close to the lantern venue! The room was clean and I had a comfortable stay. I was grateful that the parking lot was nearby, and there were many restaurants nearby, so it was convenient. It was a very easy-to-use hotel.
It's really conveniently located, with a tram in front, Chinatown behind, and Aeon Mall next door. I was satisfied with the service and facilities, but the only real disappointment was the small bathroom.
I was very satisfied with the staff's service, the cleanliness of the room, and above all, the great location. I would like to use this hotel again on my next trip to Nagasaki.
This was my second time staying here, and just like the first, everything was perfect and I had a comfortable stay. New and clean very nice hotel. Amenities are good and bought a few shower gels and shampoos there as they smelled so good. The room and bathroom are perfectly clean. Very tasty green tea met us on the reception. The only strange thing was the bathroom with windows in both side - to the room and outside. You can close it but you have to cover all the windows every time you go tge toilet.

A wonderful hotel! The room has a great view of the city, and the room itself is simply beautiful. If you're ever in Nagasaki, I definitely recommend staying here. My only advice is to take a car/taxi/bus, but don't walk to the hotel! Yes, Google Maps will show the walk is short and only involves a couple of stairs. Excellent stay in this hotel and staff is very helpful. Room is clean and looks recently renovated. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling; outdoor onsen was not crowded. Felt relaxed during my stay here 😄 Especially grateful to Mr Inoue, who was a great help in sorting out my booking issue. Great hospitality!
The service was great, but the facilities were lacking. The food was terrible; the kaiseki dinner was a 1-star at best. As a retiree who travels to Japan monthly, this was the worst food I've ever had at a Japanese hotel. Even the onsen wasn't as fantastic as people claim. However, Unzen is a lovely town with a charming rustic feel.
The dinner was well-seasoned, well-balanced, and plentiful, so I was very satisfied. It had been a while since I'd last enjoyed the hot springs, and they were as great as the reviews said.
The hot springs are fantastic, and the hotel is truly excellent value for money. The only downside is its location on the outskirts of town. However, if you're here for relaxation, you won't need to leave often, so this is truly the best ryokan.
It was my first time at Unzen Onsen! It's a little far from Unzen Jigoku, but it was a lovely inn surrounded by greenery. The water is a milky white sulfur spring, and there is a large communal bath and an open-air bath. I was looking forward to using the private bath, but it was an extra charge, so I gave up this time. The dinner and breakfast were so good I couldn't finish it! I was very satisfied
I love the dining experience. The place is very serene and peaceful and enable me to relax

Strategic location right opposite Hondo Bus Center in the middle of Amakusa city. Cute and very clean hotel with a traditional Japanese style room. The facilities are great. The room is warm but the bathtub water is not hot enough. Breakfast is available only in the set menu.

The location was great, right in front of the sea.
The hotel is located in the first row of the sea view. The scenery in the morning and evening is superb. The service staff is very friendly and the food is also very satisfactory.
