Hotels in Oita

It's very clean considering the price. When the person next to me started watching TV without earphones, it was really noisy and annoying. I wonder what I should do next time I see them...

It's located in front of Oita Station, so it's very convenient. Plus, there's a convenience store right outside the hotel's first-floor entrance. Soft drinks are available all you can drink. There's no staff at night, so that might be a bit worrying, but... When I stayed, everyone was quiet, so I was able to sleep soundly without earplugs. Good news for (young) men! You can watch XXX videos for free...

It's good that it's close to the station, has all-you-can-drink juice, and offers unlimited manga reading. ...But the biggest drawback is that you can't lock the door to your room. There is a safe in the room, and you can lock your valuables there, but it's frustrating when you think, "Hmm, I'd like to lock the door here 😓." I can understand this if you're thinking, "I can't find any other hotels close...

It should be called a hostel rather than a hotel. Clean, good design and the location are positive points. However, the service doesn't run well: I arrived at 2.15pm, nobody is at the reception desk even though I pushed the call button (like instructions) many times, so finally I could not leave my luggage here and have to wait until check-in time (17h00)!

Free welcome drinks.toilet and bathroom is common but clean.location is good,near to the train station,convenient store and restaurants .a bit expensive during busy seasons

I was able to leave my luggage there before check-in. It was close to the station, so it was easy to leave my luggage there and head out to Kannawa.

The rooms are large and spacious, and the location is on the outskirts near Beppu Station, but it is a hotel with good value for money.

The receptionist was also very nice and it was a great stay. ✨ It was close to the station and there was a supermarket just a short walk away, so I'm glad I chose this hotel. ☺️

You can book/use both indoor and outdoor private onsen which is really nice! and the staff are nice and helpful. Also the area this Ryokan is located in the city is very convenient and nice! And is very close to the seven hells of Beppu.

Hyotan Onsen is very close by, but after 9 PM, there's hardly anyone on the streets, and it's quite dark, which felt a bit scary. Even the location is good but it difficult to go to and there is no sign of the ryokan at all. The room is very old and authentic which it almost 200 yrs. But request ice will cost 500 yen which should be free servicea.

This guesthouse is full of travel charm. You can reserve the bathtub for private use, and the meals are enough for 2 to 3 people, with sashimi, tempura, steamed dishes, and Western food—so much food you'll be spoiled for choice. The room was large, affordable, and Japanese-style. For each day I stayed, I received a voucher for a specific nearby onsen. It was really good.

The price is not too expensive because it is a holiday stay. There is a kitchen for convenient use, but the bathroom must be shared. The transportation is convenient. If there is an opportunity, I will stay again.

It was a homey Japanese guest house. The front desk left very early though and we ended up having to help lots of people check in, it felt almost like we worked there.

Owner is realy nice and changed my staying nights even if he did not had to.

Excellent value. Walking distance to all the nearby onsen, and it has a free tattoo friendly Onsen for guests. Paid ¥1600 for a tent in an air-conditioned room. You get a nice comfy futon setup and linens are starchy clean.

We had a great time at matsukiso! First we stayed in one of the indoor camping tents where we had a much better night than we thought we would have( the room has two big aircons and also a window you can open) Upon arrival we were welcomed very kindly by the owner/manager. I used this hotel for one night with a friend during a trip to Kyushu. I can honestly say that the accommodations exceeded my expectations.
