It is right next to Beppu station, the onsen is overnight though I have not try but at least they provide, no check out procedures, free breakfast, password instead of room key and free drink is super convenient. The room with Seaview and spacious with a sofa bed is out of expectation. Everything is perfect at this price.

This hotel deserves a great review! It's very affordable, and the location is fantastic – just a 5-minute walk from Beppu Station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. They offer a self-service breakfast and even have a complimentary happy hour in the evening where you can use the restaurant and enjoy drinks. Everything was perfect, except for the small room size.

While the building and rooms are recognisable a bit older it is well kept and clean. The staff is absolutely top notch and the food was very tasty and of good quality. This was the only place in Beppu I could find that had hot springs and let solo travelers book a room for my timeframe. Would come again! Also kudos for the pianist playing ghibli songs in the evening.

Nothing but good things to say about the hotel, it is one of the best stays I´ve had anywhere and a hotel with excellent value. The hotsprings were excellent with ocean and mountain views, and food was above and beyond our expectation. The hotel tatamis were comfortable and the staff were highly professional. This Japanese-style hotel offers amazing value for money, especially with its beautiful sea views. I booked the one-night, two-meal plan, and the food was incredibly generous – I even had a lot of beef leftover from dinner the second night, which was a shame! Our stay was nice and it was comfortable enough, however dust has accumulated on the curtains. The shower curtain also smelt like it didn’t dry well. We never tried the breakfast though as we always woke up too late.

If I'm solely going for a hot spring experience, I'd definitely choose this place again; the water quality is excellent. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the taste is decent. It's a bit far from the city center, but a 100 RMB taxi ride usually covers most dining spots.

The Wi-Fi was the weakest and hardest to connect to of all the places I've stayed. When I did a speed test, neither the upload nor download speeds even reached 1.0. I hope they can improve this somehow. The good thing is that even though it's located next to the train tracks, the noise wasn't too noticeable.

It takes 12 minutes to walk from Oita Station. There is a Gasto fast food restaurant and FM convenience store near the hotel. The hotel facilities are relatively old. The bathroom is slightly higher than the room, so be careful. The free breakfast bento is frozen and tastes average.

It was a very pleasant inn. The view from the entrance was great, and although I had a room facing the mountains, I could see the view from the entrance whenever I wanted. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, so it's more convenient if you're driving. location is not ideal without personal transport, have to arrange private pick up or taxi from train station. Having a private onsen in your room is awesome! But the hotel itself is in dire need of renovation. The floors in the room are scuffed. The wallpaper in the hallway is peeling. And the shower glass is caked with film. This can definitely be cleaned, but alas. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, but very long. Dinner lasts about two hours, with very long breaks between courses.

Unfortunately the room was super moldy and it was ruining the experience. We stayed there for two days. The first day, the dinner was delicious and so was the breakfast but the second day, the food was not as great and the breakfast was served as a Western style, was much less in portion compared to the first day. It was still nice to have Onsen in your room. But it comes with a price.

Nicely located hotel with free Onsen. The rooms are fairly old and mine was once a smoker friendly room, which explains the slight smell of cigarettes and the yellowish walls. It is great that the hotel is located directly in front of the main station, but be aware of outside noise. I still slept like a stone so for the price I can recommend it.

The staff were super helpful. I had lost my watch the day before and they called around the places that I had visited the day before to ask them for me. It's a little bit of an older hotel but if you're travelling solo and cheap I don't think you can complain about this price.
