At check‑out, I was struggling because I had a lot of bags, and a housekeeping staff member kindly helped me carry them to the front desk.
At the final check‑out, a senior female front‑desk staff member gave my son a small gift and even helped load our luggage into the car that had come to pick us up. I was truly grateful for her kindness.
From check‑in to our stay, and all the way through check‑out, I was deeply impressed by the wonderful hospitality.
The Japanese staff at The Café were extremely flexible and helpful toward us, even with a child in tow, which I truly appreciated. In the Family Lounge on the second floor, my son was able to play while I enjoyed a relaxing moment reading the newspaper. Both the room and the lounge were spotless everywhere I looked, making our stay very comfortable.
Because I was so impressed by the wonderful hospitality and the comfort of the room, I would love to stay again on my next trip back to Japan. My Australian friends who travel to Japan always struggle to choose a hotel, and I strongly felt that I would love to recommend this hotel to them as well. Thank you very much!
The actual location is a little bit far away from the downtown but since I’m here for HYROX which happened just across the road in INDEX Osaka so it can not be more convenient for me. And thanks to the metro it won’t take long to the more city area.
The area is chill and quiet, good for a walk near the bay
At first glance, the hotel looks luxurious and gives the impression of a true 5-star property. The room was spacious, modern, comfortable, and very clean.
Receiving Uber Eats directly in the room was convenient, and despite the hotel being far from the city center, the free shuttle to Osaka Station is efficient.
That said, the experience quickly falls short of what is expected from an international 5-star hotel.
The room had a large, modern TV, yet all streaming apps were blocked, leaving only Japanese terrestrial channels. When I contacted the concierge, I was simply told it was not possible, with no explanation or alternative offered. This is unacceptable for a hotel catering to international guests.
The bathroom lighting was poorly designed and insufficient, making basic tasks such as shaving or applying makeup unnecessarily difficult.
The indoor pool was the most disappointing aspect. The area was cold, the water temperature was inadequate, and there was no food or beverage service at all. The space felt more like a basic fitness facility than a luxury leisure area, completely out of line with 5-star expectations.
While the hotel has strong visual appeal and comfortable rooms, key details and services are clearly lacking, resulting in an experience that does not justify its 5-star positioning.
The facilities are good, and there are several nice restaurants on-site, along with a Lawson (similar to 7-Eleven) in the basement level (B1). I hope there’s a gym available for us to burn some calories. It’s a great venue for weddings, featuring a large ballroom.
We love this hotel so much because the rooms privacy is big and we had a super comfortable stay!
The hotel was wonderful! The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with a beautiful view on Bridge and river from the window. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. I especially enjoyed the breakfast – a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The amenities were excellent: fastest Wi-Fi, good soundproofing, and a very comfortable bed with clean sheets. The location is perfect, just a short walk to local attractions and public transportation. I’m very happy with my stay and would definitely come back!
