This hotel is highly recommended if you're visiting Shirahama! 👍👍👍

Facilities: Very complete. Free onsen (hot spring), swimming pool, and gym.

Cleanliness: The rooms are clean and the wet and dry areas are separated, making it very convenient.

Environment: Excellent! 👍 You can see the sea view every day, which is very pleasant.

Service: The hotel service is excellent. They offer Chinese-speaking staff and can help you make restaurant reservations.

Location: Excellent location. The three scenic spots of Shirahama are nearby, only about a 15-minute walk. There are also delicious ramen, set meals, bread, etc., right across from the hotel. Most importantly, the food is affordable and delicious! 😃😃😃

I don't usually write reviews, but I absolutely loved this hotel! Transportation is great; a bus ride from Shirahama Station to Shin-Yuzaki Station takes about 20 minutes. Although the hotel is on a small hill, it's only a two-minute walk, no effort at all. Across the street are the popular Seamore and Key Noodles restaurants, and Sakinoyu is just a short walk away. Because it's built on a hill, the sea view is absolutely stunning! I could see the beautiful Pacific Ocean from my bed every day. The room was also very spacious; for this price, the room with such a large ocean view is incredibly good value. The hotel itself has an onsen (hot spring bath) and provides complimentary yukata (light cotton robe), so I could enjoy a relaxing soak every night before bed. The room service also thoughtfully provided local specialty snacks daily. It was truly the most satisfying hotel of my Shirahama trip!

The hotel has some history, but is reasonably well-maintained. Located on a slope, it's recommended to drive there, as parking is free. The onsen (hot spring) is excellent; I didn't book breakfast and dinner, so I don't know about them. The rooms are large; I chose the Japanese-style room with two beds, a Japanese-style living room, and a terrace with panoramic views of the beach and distant views of Engetsu Island. However, there were no power outlets by the bed. There are also mattresses available for sleeping on the floor. There's central air conditioning, but now it's winter and only heating is available; thankfully, the terrace door can be opened.

The transportation is very convenient, the room has a sea view, and it's very comfortable. It's the kind of quiet place I like, and it's convenient for my road trip. I would definitely come again next time.

It's great, the hotel is good value for money, and there's a popular hotel right across the street. A taxi from Shirahama Station cost 2440 yen. By bus, get off at Shin-Yukichi Station on the S19. The nearest convenience store is a bit of a walk from there, at S18-Yukichi Station, where you can also take a highway bus to Osaka. It's located on a small hill, but you get used to it after a while. The rooms seem to all have one-sided views, so you can see the sea and Shirahama Beach. It's also very close to Senjojiki Sandanbeki, within walking distance. The room had no unpleasant odors, had a balcony, and was quite clean. The room I booked was a separate bathroom and shower room, with a large public bath and onsen (hot spring). The local specialties sold on the first floor of the hotel were quite good.

The hotel is located near the Shin-Yuzaki bus stop in Shirahama. It's accessible by walking up a slope. Because of its hillside location, ocean-view rooms offer a great view, overlooking Shirahama Beach. The walk to Shirahama Beach takes about 15 minutes, passing the Shirahama Seafood Market and a FamilyMart convenience store. The hotel has a restaurant, offering a simple but acceptable breakfast, and three set menus for dinner.

The Japanese-style rooms feature twin beds, a tatami mat, and a balcony, perfect for both living and sleeping. The bathrooms have bathtubs and are quite comfortable.

The hotel has a large public bath on the first floor, featuring an indoor hot spring area with a massage area, a hot and cold dual-use pool, and an outdoor soaking pool. There's a dedicated area on the first floor where guests can choose from complimentary yukata robes, coffee and tea bags, and disposable toiletries.

October 4th, Tanabe Beach hosted its annual fireworks festival, and I was able to see the fireworks from the hotel's guest balcony. Upon departure, the front desk helped with luggage storage and taxi hailing. I was very satisfied with my stay.

The Japanese-style room was relatively small, but it had a great view of the sea. There weren't many restaurants nearby, so you had to walk a bit to the beach. The hotel staff spoke Chinese, so communication was easy.

The adjacent hotel offers a great sunset viewing spot.

It's very close to Kawasakiyu Onsen, and the hotel's own hot springs are excellent, originating from the same source as Kawasakiyu Onsen.

The hotel balcony was beautiful, and sipping a beer while gazing at the sea was beautiful.

The hotel's location in Shirahama is excellent, midway between Shirahama and Senjo (both about a ten-minute walk away). From Senjo, it's just a ten-minute walk to Sandanbeki. From the room window, you can see the white sands of Shirahama. However, perhaps due to the lack of occupants and the slightly dated nature of the room, it had a slight odor (and the window couldn't be opened due to insects). However, the front desk staff, a compatriot named Zhuang, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. We planned to hike the Kumano Kodo Trail and visit the three major shrines. He gave us a detailed itinerary (departure time, transfer location, and destinations, all printed out and explained in detail). It was a very good arrangement. We hurriedly left after breakfast at 8:00 AM and returned after 8:00 PM. We then enjoyed a reasonably priced and affordable Japanese meal at a popular restaurant next to the Peninsula Hotel across the street.
