The only thing I regret is that there was no air conditioning. Other than that I was satisfied.

Great for price. Driving 10 min from downtown. Service was amazing, everyone is nice. Great price and location. Breakfast was good. Hotel is older but the room was big. Bathroom had flies and the room smelled a bit but for price it was good.

Regency hotel and Grand palace hotel are in same premises ,with big spacious rooms with all facilities. Hotel is very neat and clean. Staff is very polite, helpful and friendly.

Spacious, Clean and tidy place I recommend heavily

Centrally located such that most of the key locations of Amman are easily reachable within 15 to 20 minutes. Clean rooms. The property is old but decently maintained. Guests may avail of all the facilities (pool, gym, restaurant, and so on) of the adjoining 5-star hotel.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel, clean rooms, they have bath tub, one can soak in with dead sea salt available at reasonable price around the reception area, rooms are spacious, good Wi-Fi network, the bar is good and reasonable, market is 5 mins walking distance so is bus and taxi service, ATM in close vicinity, buffet breakfast has good spread, overall the stay was nice and comfortable

For what it cost, The Strand is absolutely fine. The staff were helpful and the rooms a good size. Somewhat dated decor but clean. Food rather basic and uninsipring but fine. The location was ok for us but a taxi ride to anwhere significant in Amman. If looking for a budget, adequate hotel, this would be perfect.

Hotel is very basic, the house keeping is not great, no extra towels when we asked for one. Never filled up the tea and coffee. No veg options for breakfast and dinner. But clean and reasonable price

Good location. You can reach every interesting point in Amman. Staff is very kind and able to speak fluently a lot of european languages. Room are clean and breakfast is okayish.

Staff super helpful and locations is great.

The hotel is indeed within walking distance to the attractions, but the surrounding area feels a bit chaotic and I don’t think it’s very safe. Also, the soundproofing is extremely poor and there’s no hairdryer. I think it’s acceptable for a one-night layover before a flight, but not more than that.

We had a great stay at the Ambassador Hotel. We'd booked the West Luxury hotel but they messaged and asked if we could change to this hotel with no extra cost and we were very happy. The room was large and comfortable - 2 beds and a camp bed which I found quite uncomfortable but my son didn't mind! The buffet breakfast was great, lots of choice. One of my memorable stay in this hotel due to their excellent services. All staff were very friendly specially we got extra care and comfort from their housekeeping. All staff were very good but Ms. Shareefa was one of the best who made our stay very comfortable.

Outstanding We were going there for a wedding and our day was very comfortable and the staff was amazing. Their breakfast is a huge buffet and very testy food. We had dinner two times in the room and the barbecue was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful. The location is excellent. I recommend it Hailee.

Best hotel I have ever visited Extremely fair price, excellent service, amazing and kind employees, great room service, and I could not find a single dusty part of my hotel room. Cleaned wonderfully. If you are looking for hotels go to this one. Also great art and murals in the lobby.

Friendly staff, significant work out room and pools. Night club next door or beneath was thumping til dawn. You can decide if you want music heard through the night.

Seems like management gave up on this property. 1. you call the front desk at 0, no one picks up. 2. I had to go down to reset my room access card, they said the door battery is dead.... I said to them that not not an excuse. 3.. load music until 4 am... Like hotel night club 4. To access they had to send someone from maintenance with a master key to open my room door every time...3 days at this...

The hotel itself is outdated and needs renovations. It's not that bad for a short stay. The only thing that really bothered me is the music sounds that kep pumping till morning from the next building club (disco). It was so bad that I had to call reception around 3:30AM. The hotel has nice look and ambience but the rooms leave much to be desired. The room furniture, bathroom, shower, kitchen and living room were in bad shape or not working properly. The room was a non-smoking room but the smoke stench was unbearable and the key card did not work, so they gave me an actual key. Good business hotel Enjoyed this hotel stay as it was close enough to the airport and had good facilities and client services. However while I had a wonderful room, there was no desk which is a must for business guests. Also the breakfast room was not well-indicated and was so hard to find!

I spent the last week in Amman Jordan for both work and pleasure. The majority of my stay was spent at the Lijam Hotel. This hotel was convenient for both my work and exploration of Amman. The staff was friendly and professional from my first interaction to the moment I checked out. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. Third time staying here because the rooms are spotless and the service was good. This time around the breakfast host wasn’t so friendly Had no TV although I was charged for it. Asked for assistance and he couldn’t get it to work and said that he would call room service but they never came. Not happy about that and addressed it at checkout and they acted like it was my fault that I didn’t call them...

Randomly found this place after having booked another hotel and paying in advance. I was so thankful I did because their price, location, cleanliness, and employees are second to none! Ended up staying with them for over two weeks and everything, from start to finish, was great. Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Amman.
