Strand Hotel Jordan in Amman

The cleanliness of the rooms is below zero — you can’t even walk barefoot in the room because the floor is so dirty. The bathroom isn’t clean either, so taking a shower leaves you feeling less clean and refreshed. Do not come here! I’ve traveled all over the world, and this is the most outstandingly unclean hotel I’ve ever seen — and to make matters worse, the hotel staff don’t respond and simply don’t care!

Buffet style food. Most of the time it was the same type of food. Other hotels gave better options. Service was alright.

Room had no toilet paper or very little. They should give brand new ones.

Quite possibly the worst hotel experience I've had! I had the unfortunate fate to stay at this hotel for two nights with my tour group of 150 people. Notwithstanding the rooms which were of a decent quality, all 150 guests had problems with their key cards which would not open room doors. The hotel refused to "re-charge"/"re-sync" the key cards, citing that their "machine was broken" - pathetic excuse, and all 150 guests had to rely on one staff member to travel 4 different floors to open doors.

The spread on offer for both breakfast and dinner was lackluster, with little to no variety on offer. The buffet room is tiny, with staff leaving paying guests to clean up after themselves whilst they stand around chatting.

The WiFi? Didn't work at all. Room service? Nonexistent but water available at a premium fee.

I'd leave this hotel 0 stars if Google allowed me.

Not recommending. No wifi, noisy elevators, bad food. Missing things in rooms like blankets, towels etc.
