The hotel is old and the rooms are old as well. It’s a budget hotel so you get what you pay for. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I consider this a good value for your money and it’s especially good if you are traveling and want any layover in Jordan.
I booked a flight with Royal Jordanian so they booked this hotel for me for the layover. At first, I was a bit hesitant, but the hotel turned out to be just fine.

The room was very clean and tidy. Reasonable prices.

Reception staff were very amazing and friendly especially Saeed and Abduallah. Big thanks to them.

I had a lovely time there. Good prices, nice people, and they have a restaurant in the hotel with excellent service.

Overall, the stay was good.
However, considering the price, we expected a bit more. The carpet and the bathroom could benefit from additional cleaning, and there was no water heater (kettle) available.

Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever been to in Amman. The service is horrible. I had an iced coffee that became warm, I requested a glass of ice to pour my coffee over. They told me it would be delivered within 30 minutes. I waited 90 minutes and it never came. They originally told me the hotel did not have ice. What kind of hotel tells its guests they don’t have ice. The room was awful. No upkeep, the toilet seat was falling off, toiletries were outside of the bathroom because there was nowhere to put any. I can deal with a run down hotel but when you add in terrible customer service, I will not go back there again. I am paying customer, the staff are not working for free but they act like they are doing you a favor when they are doing their job. 0/5 stars.

my wife stayed at Meneur Hotel Amman in May 2025, and an extremely serious and distressing incident occurred. She was sexually harassed by a member of the valet staff Named (M. AMEER) , who behaved inappropriately and attempted to give her his personal phone number. We reported the incident formally to the hotel via email on June 15, 2025, requesting an immediate investigation and a response. As of today, we have received no reply — not even an acknowledgment. This silence, especially given the seriousness of the complaint, is shocking and unacceptable for any hotel that claims to care about guest safety. I’m writing this review not to harm the hotel’s reputation unfairly, but to warn other travelers — especially women — to be cautious. We expected a safe and respectful environment, and what happened was a complete violation of that expectation. I sincerely hope the management takes accountability and acts to ensure this never happens again.
