The hotel is very well located, the rooms are clean,very well equipped and comfy. It's a bit noizy at night if you are one of the guys who like to sleep while windows are open (like myself), but you can't expect a hotel to be quite if it's located in a busy street (full of nice resturants and coffee shops). In general, it's good value for money. I recommend it for those travellers not interested in water activities. Note: they have a very nice resturant that offers great seafood dishes.

Where to start? Bathroom: shower has hardly any pressure, there’s mold and the watertaps are completely calcified. It’s simply old and not renovated recently. The mattress is thin, the springs are almost coming through. Lots of noise from the street, but the airco makes even more noise so choose your poison. There was some kind of installation in the hallway outside of my room which also made a lot of noise. There’s a Movenpick next door where we went to the pool (the pool in Captain’s is small and not recommandable). Check Movenpick or Hilton for offers if you need to stay in Aqaba

Great views of the Red Sea. Easy to walk to sites around the area. Breakfast and suppers were excellent. Easy access the beach. Very clean. Staff was great and very accommodating. We didn’t use the nail or foot spa or the car rental but they are on site.

Mr. Ala’a and Miss Dua’a from the reception disk were amazing! Very gentle, helpful. Dua’a even upgraded my room after I outlined a leakage in the restroom, and after my family came they even showed a professional handling and while it was an Eid period, Mr. Ala’a even helped to service during the breakfast.

We were a group of 19 people which was a bit “heavy” to serve on the same time. The Humus, Falafel and Labane were very good. It is Avery popular restaurant for the locals and a good place to get an Arab dishes.
