The hostel is located in a quiet area and not close but also not far from the city centre. The public transport is not that close. The reception does not speak english but was very nice and we communicated via google translate. So far so good, but the rooms and restrooms were not that clean and the shower only had cold water (there is only one shower and three toilettes). You dont get information about what to do in almaty. Wi-Fi has an instable connection and all in all the hostel feels a bit dull and shabby. Also there are no roomkeys and no locker keys. Could be worse and the price is good value, but we had much better hostel experiences.

Omg they overbook and they don't cancel your reservation. So you go there and you have find another hostel.

Nice hostel, located in a quiet area of Almaty. In fact, what can be said about hostels if people come there exclusively to spend the night. Perhaps the kind and helpful staff. I booked through booking, the reservation is free. I ordered a room for two, it is a room with 1 double bed, there is a TV. There is a separate kitchen where you can prepare meals; there were few residents during our stay.
