This hostel is super close to the international bus station, which makes check-in really convenient. The rooms are very clean, and there's a communal kitchen available. If you can understand, congratulations, don't be a jerk, don't bite, say it three times. If you land on a red-eye flight, you can come and rest. You can check in at any time. I liked this hostel a lot, I even came back for a second stay after heading off to Astana and other places. It's not in a place with any landmarks, but that didn't worry me, because everything else I like to be close to is nearby. Unfriendly to Chinese people. The location is okay, but they don't check in or drop off luggage before 2 PM, which is very inconvenient. The bedding is made of synthetic fibers, very thin and pilling. The shared bathroom is small, with only one shower room.

I just spent three nights here while I was exploring Almaty city. I booked a private room, the room has no aircon but no issue at night as it’s pretty cooling. It's 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to any bus station. Near to any grocery store and I did walked twice from the hostel to the center even if it is snowing as I wanted to see the place. It will take you more or less 20 minutes walking. The owner is very kind and response to my chat, whatsapp, message anytime of the day. So this is really a nice hostel.

Evergreen Apart is really one of the best choices to stay when attending an event in Atakent Expo. Rooms are clean and everyone in the receiption are very friendly, l they know how to speak in English very well. hello. I was in the hostel for 2 months. It is very cozy and comfortable here. The managers are Saul and Kasim who are very nice. If you have any questions or problems you can contact them and they will always be there to help. The hostel is cleaned daily and there are no cockroaches or bedbugs. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom. I can give it 9 out of 10
