I was fotunate to book the renovated room, it was surely good, the AC is the only issue as it takes time to cool the room, also faced a small issue with the plugs next to the bed, they tend to disconnect after some time and you have to remove the card and reinstert it again, the breakfast area had a good buffet and nice seating area ( indoor and outdoor ) room service sometimes take time to attend...

It was the old Ankara Hotel, but the name changed, so I had a hard time finding the original hotel. I think it would be better to write the hotel name in parentheses, like Old Ankara Hotel.

WiFi is strong enough for remote working videocalls, works even in the garden. Club lounge on the terrace floor is kind of quiet with weird rules about alcohol, but the food is tasty

the hotel is located centrally, you can easily walk to see some things within the city also near to bus station and to panfilov area, i opt for late check out so i pay half of the room rate, and they let me check out 6pm? i paid for half rate then check out at 6pm? i talk to the receptionist that i will check out at 8pm, he said okay but they called that i cant and i will pay full amount if i didnt...

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at so far! I arrived at the hotel around 5 AM, and fortunately (thank you for the receptionist who attended me), they had a room available for early check-in (for half the price)

I like the place - nearly Abay street. Also I was surprised that there is no aid kit and pills in the hotel. When I asked staff pills for headache they answer that I only can go to a pharmacy

We were happy with the Room Cleaniness, Team cleaned on daily basis without giving any reminders. The staff here is lovely which is good thing. Overall we liked our stay and hope to return back in future

We stayed for 2 nights. On the 2nd day, the electricity was shut down twice in the afternoon and in the night time at 2.00 am until the morning. We sleep without aircon for almost 7 hours. It was our bad experience here.

I found Uzbeks much friendlier The gym room didn’t have a mat for weights so a tiny bit of noise from the weight would be frowned upon The room was quite dated as it was built over 30 years ago

Awesome stay in Almaty! Location is perfect! A lot of cafes and food around the alley. Staffs are polite and helpful as well! Late check out timing could be improved given the flights out of Almaty timings

Only quibble was that there were no toiletries in the bathroom when we arrived other than shampoo and shower gel dispensers which were riveted to the wall of the shower

It would have been so easy for them to have given me the hair conditioner and then receive a 10/10 rating but they were quite obstinate in refusing to do so

It was our first visit in Kazakhstan. We stayed one week at Garden Park Inn Hotel. Very good and comfortable hotel. About 15 min walk to Baikonur Metro station. Tea/coffee facilities - electric kettle in the room

Although the breakfast food selection is not much, it was still outstanding - the bread were fresh, the coffee selection is excellent, fresh cut fruits, and these were sufficient to fill my appetite during my stay for the breakfast! I would definitely recommend travellers and visitors to Almaty to consider staying at the Grand Tien Shan hotel, its a "GRAND" feeling you wouldn't want to miss! Enjoy

The best thing of the hotel is its location. The metro station called Abay is just a few minutes walk. Kok Tobe cable car station was also walkable. Apart from location, we did not find anything great of this hotel
