The host is very nice! He is very enthusiastic to help us solve the problem! The environment is also very good, like a resort. I will come again next time.
We didn't have breakfast, but the guest house was very nice and prepared a box of food for us instead
The boss and his wife are very polite, and the breakfast is freshly made and prepared very considerately. After a tiring day at work, it is very comfortable to come back and sit in the yard to relax
The room is clean, sanitary and comfortable, the environment is elegant and quiet, the service is warm and thoughtful, but the location is a bit remote, so you need a car or local taxi app.

The best guest house we have stayed in for aaaaaages! So warm (in spirit and temperature), good security, free airport pickup and drop off, Vladimir is HILARIOUS and his son is so friendly and speaks good English

Good location, close to the city and mountains and a river nearby. I liked everything, breakfasts in the morning and a cozy house. In the garden there is a yurt with full decoration.
The hotel is clean and cozy, like home. A taxi can't get close to the house - you have to walk 50 meters to the barrier or ask to open it remotely
For those who want to get a good night's sleep! They greet you perfectly! They help you solve problems, and feed you well beforehand. I checked into this hotel again - last year I was here for almost a week
I liked: the meeting, the good breakfast, it's very quiet. It's convenient to get to Shymbulak - no traffic jams in the morning up the mountain and back in the evening, almost no traffic jams
Feb2025: the team at the hotel are amazing, very nice and helpful. The bathroom was not very convenient as the sink is out of the toilet and shower because it is very small, but doable
The hotel is out of the city in a very calm place and on the road to the ski slops of Shymbulak

I loved everything about my stay in there. My toddler had a very enjoyable time there especially with the host and his beautiful pets. If I ever visit kazakhstan again den dobri domm is a must go to place

Quiet and chill spot. A great place to relax just outside of the city. Great host and good breakfast. Awesome views too!!
Excellent stay away from crowds. The sounds of the river was relaxing. The owner does not speak English but we managed by Google Translate. There are 3 friendly cats, and a nice garden at the top with tents for rent
Even though place was isolated and they do not offer lunch and dinner, it’s not a big deal- just install Yandex app (their version of Grab/Uber) and they deliver food and taxi to you
