The hotel also boasts a swimming pool, spa, and other amenities, and the breakfast spread was quite extensive, though it did get a bit crowded in the mornings

The room was clean and tidy, and although the facilities were a bit old, everything worked perfectly

I was fotunate to book the renovated room, it was surely good, the AC is the only issue as it takes time to cool the room, also faced a small issue with the plugs next to the bed, they tend to disconnect after some time and you have to remove the card and reinstert it again, the breakfast area had a good buffet and nice seating area ( indoor and outdoor ) room service sometimes take time to attend...

Twenty years ago the whole Rakhat was shining, today shines only elevator.

The breakfast was pretty decent, the rice sometimes was a bit hard. The hotel has a very good location and in front there is a University with a starbucks. Also near there are coffee shops and pubs, burger king and etc

My stay at Rixos Almaty in the Deluxe Twin Room with Park View was exceptional. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the park, which added a peaceful ambiance to my stay

Beautiful building in classical style. Cozy and comfortable. I attended one of the trainings, which was held in one of the hotel halls. The cuisine is excellent and varied, very tasty dishes.

The restaurant offers a good selection of food for breakfast; for linner we visited a smaller bar, which offers simple yet delicious food

The last evening, there were kids using hallway as playground which didnt allow to relax, but overall everything else was very good

The only downside is the trip from the airport, which in rush hour may take you 2 hours or more. However, what we did was going to Almaty downtown, having dinner at a restaurant there and after that getting to the hotel

The front-desk service was excellent, fluent English and smooth communication. On my first day they even helped me sort out small change for a taxi and provided useful sightseeing tips

The valve is difficult to remove, but it can be done. The faucet in the bathtub has no pressure, allowing for a good body wash, but washing your hair is extremely difficult

Been hereany times. Relatively cheap. Breakfasts are OK. Clean, the rooms are quite small, which is compensated by the balcony with wonderful views of the mountains. Ask for the room looking on the mountains.

Breakfast is quite solid with plenty of fruits available as well as a decent selection of different types of dairy products, cold cuts, two types of raw fish, salad vegetables, sweets and usual ( mixing in a few more local delicacies would make it excellent)

Breakfast was a little crowded and understaffed (some empty breakfast options and lots of dirty plates etc), so I recommend going to breakfast earlier. However, this didn't affect my stay, and I would stay here again

Our stay at Ritz-Carlton Almaty was exceptional, in fact our fav part of the city as tourists. The best part was the warm service from the staff, in particular thanks to Yekaterina (Kate), Malika, and concierge lady

I had a very nice stay there and have a nice experience too. My laundry was hung at the balcony and who knows the strong wind blew them all off. The security man there really help me to look for all my clothes

Clean and modern hotel in a good, central location. Helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Closer to the shopping area than the main park/ historical/ cable car areas, but still a very good location. Would recommend!

The hotel comes with a lot of amenities and especially I like the gym and the sauna in the winter month. It is so close to most of the places and arbat street

The room is similar to that in China in the 1990s. The equipment is old and average. It is mainly a hotel for foreigners. There is a lady at the front desk who speaks simple Chinese. The breakfast is rich and tastes good

500 per night is not worth the price, but the front desk service is good and the hygiene is OK. It's just too old and can't be compared with domestic ones

The Doubletree Almaty is rather new hotel with outdated hotel rooms. However, the excellent breakfast choices, the best hotel gym I have ever been to and a very well spa facility made the stay very memorable

My experience to all mothers out there who are breastfeeding and looking for a good hotel in Almaty

I visited Almaty while I was in the breastfeeding phase, where I must preserve/store my breast milk to take for my baby back home. As it is well known, hotel rooms do not have freezer in them

We visited the spa located in this hotel and were absolutely delighted! It was our first visit, and everything was perfect — a calm atmosphere, cleanliness, and attentive staff

I am so thankful and great full for Mark and Assem for their help in that matter; specially Mark, not only has he helped me, but also provided me with solutions to the problem

The hotel is in a good location, room is clean abit smaller than when i stayed in holiday inn express but still able to put 2 luggages in the room. The breakfast spread is very good. Plenty of food to keep you full

Also i took picture of the aircond because someone else also mentioned, the aircond light is bright which is true. And we could not switch it off since it was not the original remote controller

It's super convenient for getting around, and it's easy to walk to many of the attractions. Definitely my top choice for a trip to Almaty

The dining area is abit small but there is still enough tables to serve at least 30 people. I think others who complaint about this probbaly came during summer or peak season
