Rusel Hotel in Aktau

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I checked in at 6 a.m. and found my room unmade, plus the bed linens hadn't been changed. I spoke to the receptionist, who said she couldn't help because it wasn't her room. This room belonged to someone else. I found washed but unironed bedding in the closet. I took the iron to iron it, but it was completely covered in wrinkles. In the morning, my friend who booked me a room texted the owner about this, and he responded with a question mark. We still haven't figured out what it meant. The shower curtain was dirty. The sofa was sagging with cigarette burns. The hotel has been open for over 7 years, and the plaster on the bathroom floor hasn't been scrubbed off yet from construction work. The tiles are already peeling off the walls in places. The refrigerator was dirty, with oil and gingerbread residue from previous guests. Everything was stained, not only in the room but also in the elevators. Pros: the room is warm and the location is good.
