Where to stay in Turkistan

The hotel was gorgeous and very comfortable. The spa and pool was a bonus! I gave it a four because I had to call the desk 3 or 4 times to request basic items like extra toilet paper and extra towels because no one cleaned the room when I had requested it on day 2 of our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

I just spent one night at the Rixos Turkistan, and had a great experience. The hotel is modern. The rooms are large and clean. The hotel is connected with a small shopping centre with a supermarket. The spa and fitness centre are great. The pool in particular is huge and very much adapted for people who like swimming, with a smaller pool for children. The staff are usually very friendly and you can...

Great experience. Clean and nice hotel. Great swimming pool and spa. Very friendly staff with usually a good command of English.

Rixos is top notch, the room is clean and cozy, the price through trip is twice cheaper than through other sites. The breakfast is super, I liked everything.

I liked everything! The service was great!

You can hold meetings or seminars here, or just relax. Conveniently located. The staff is polite and helpful. The hotel itself is compact. The food is good. There's construction going on to the side of the hotel, but you can't hear it. It doesn't spoil the view much. Breakfast is included in the room rate. There's excellent karaoke, worth checking out; the interior and sound are top...

Luxurious world-class hotel with mesmerizing views. Located in about 15-minute walking distance from the holy place of Khodja Ahmed Yassawi mausoleum. What completely turned me off is the hotel accounting department and the hotel management refusing to refund money for a day that me and my family paid for in error but didn't stay. I'd understand if that was their policy (the policy states "free cancellation...

Very weird hotel. Could easily be on in Vegas, but: spacious and clean rooms, amenities, good breakfast and dinner and a stocked bar. Can't complain especially given the price.

Except service, everything is exceptional. I simply requested for coffee sachets, and didn't get it despite multiple calls.

I stayed in this hotel to live the full Turkestan experience and can only recommend it! I loved my room with harbour-view, very spacious, modern and comfortable. I made sure to enjoy my time there to the fullest. The staff is helpful and professional, the restaurant & in-room dining is on point. If I ever come to Turkestan again, I would definitely come back there and for a longer time!

Overall experience very good. The hotel complex is huge, there are so many things to do, and there is a great variety of restaurants and cafes. Everything is new and clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. What’s more, the tickets to the Flying Theatre were included in the price, and it was an amazing experience. However, I was a little disappointed because of the lack of swimming pool. In addition...

Room view from balcony was so nice location in the complex with lots of facilities we got free admission in as attraction because of staying in this hotel we asked for 1 large bed & were surprised that it was 2 single beds (we didn't ask for change because we were too tired & didn't want to move) when we booked the hotel, we read that there will be show in the lack, but we didn't see any & no one...

This is the worst Ramada I have ever seen. Dirty sheets and towels, disgusting breakfast where there is not even coffee, and the bread is specially laid out so that it dries out. I warned in advance that I have Diamond status at Wyndham, but only after indignation did they upgrade my room (which turned out to be even dirtier than the first)

The location on Google Maps is in the wrong place! I've tried submitting an update to Google Maps but it's switched back to the wrong location again. It's nearer to the airport but a lot further from the city center. Rooms were reasonably clean, but on the night that we checked in we found numerous stains on the sheets. The staff were nice enough to bring a replacement though. The counter staff were...

The hotel is located on one of the main streets of the city. A 10-minute drive from the Mausoleum and Caravanserai. A new hotel in a new city. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is everything you need: bathrobes, slippers, safes, toiletries, tea set. No bottled water. The minibar is empty. The biggest disappointment is breakfast. Very poor choice of products. All the simplest - porridge, boiled...

Big blinking TV in front of the hotel do not allow good sleep.

The restaurant is good, cozy, spacious, the ceilings are high. But the service is so-so. And the music is too loud, you can go deaf. Several times they warned to make the music quieter, but no one heard. And the restaurant is good.

I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Turkistan, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel offers a modern and comfortable atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travel. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. I especially appreciated the cleanliness...

Check-in and check-out was smooth. Delicious local and international food. Friendly staff.

As always, the Hampton lives up to expectations. A perfect rest with the best possible location and views. Breakfast was more than satisfactory. All the reception staff were very friendly and professional. I would have stayed more nights.

Top location, close to all the main attractions. Nice breakfast!

The hotel is comfy and staff are helpful

The location is excellent. Right next to the tomb. The room wasn't very large, but it was tidy. Breakfast was adequate. Thank you.

Perfectly located across the road from Karavansaray. Huge spacious room with huge comfortable bed. Marble tiled bathroom was spotlessly clean with powerful shower. Staff were pleasant, and the inclusive breakfast was good. Late checkout for a reasonable charge was appreciated. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

Best place to stay in Turkistan. Special thanks to girl who work in reception with Turkish spoken. 🙏

I recently stayed at the Royal Grand Hotel, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The highlight of my stay was the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious meals at very reasonable prices. The meat was exceptionally fresh, adding to the overall dining experience. Highly...

Outstanding hotel and one of the best values I have come across in Kazakhstan. Comparable to Karavansaray at half the price.

Friendly staff! Clean rooms, good breakfast, great location 300 meters from the Caravanserai.

I liked the hotel. The rooms are cozy and have everything you need. The breakfast is filling. The staff is polite. It's very important that the hotel is across the street from the caravanserai.

Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Cozy atmosphere.

Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Cosy atmosphere.

Unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired! It seems they rented a room for 37k, there is not even a compliment in the form of a bottle of water (tea and some Booking indicated that there is a bar, restaurant, etc., it is not there either! But! I want to note that it is very clean and there are all bathroom amenities... The only thing worth working on is the service!!!

A little odd as all the rooms face inward to the atrium, and the outside of the place isn't particularly grand. Still, a comfortable stopoff on the road. No evening food but the helpful receptionist is happy to order in pizza.

The travel company chose the hotel for us. Our trip to Turkestan was a joint effort between two companies. Some of them had already completed their trip by evening, but my group was faced with a choice: We could rest and have dinner on time, or we could continue without dinner. The hotel staff came to our aid. They saved dinner for our group, and we were able to enjoy it almost at midnight. The...

A nice small hotel. The room is clean, but the shower head is right under the ceiling, and the water doesn't flow evenly. Breakfast is included in your stay and is delicious. The sour cream and eggs are definitely farm-raised, not store-bought. The breakfast buffet isn't extensive, but it's still a decent breakfast.

Not a bad hotel. Buffet breakfast included. The room has 2 sets of towels, shampoos, gel, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. But one of the rooms had a broken toilet seat and a dirty blanket and there are no wardrobes, only cabinets

good hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are kind and really helpful. so you feel like a family, not a hotel. Although we had difficulty eating breakfast due to cultural differences, they later prepared a very good breakfast to please us. The last omelet I ate was very tasty. I would like to thank the helpers who work in the kitchen and especially in the reception room.

Under different circumstances this would be a much better review. But because of renovation work I had some complaints. The painting on the windows on the room I stayed in. Although the window was covered with foil I did not feel comfortable. The very intense paint smell gave me a headache. It would be better not to rent out the rooms where there is work going on. If construction work was not happening...

It is located in the city center! It is very near many tourist attractions. The room condition is nice and clean. The service is good too. The breakfast is good! I want to stay here again when I come back to travel!

One of the best places to stay in that city for adequate price! Very clean, nice territory with restaurant, helpful personnel ! Next time we will stay only here! I would say that it is clear European 4 stars hotel. Parking available, all sightseeings are close

This is a review for the restaurant. The hotel is being renovated at this moment. The restaurant has a pleasant outdoor terrace with several levels. There is an English menu available and the friendly hostess spoke English well. There are plenty of local and foreign dinner options on the menu. The food was good, but a bit cold. There is some sort of dance floor and DJ on the ground level, but only...

Good air-conditioning. Friendly staff, the restaurant which is also Edem is the place to see and be Turkestan. Breakfast is good, rooms and bathrooms are not the newest anymore.

Booked at the last minute, this hotel was a nice surprise, especially for its welcome. We stayed in a superb room, very comfortable. The reception team Sanya & Danya were adorable! They were very helpful (SIM card, logistics, etc.). The buffet is very good by local standards. Thank you, girls.

I stayed for five days on a business trip. Since this was the hotel I stayed at during my first trip to Turkestan, I can't compare it to others because I don't know them. But the hotel is very clean. The rooms are new. The girls at reception were very attentive. A girl named Saida was especially friendly and helpful. Thank you all. If I have another trip, I will choose this place.

My daughter Margot and I were in Turkestan on vacation and chose this hotel, and we didn't regret it. It was excellent, the receptionists were friendly, helpful, and pleasant to talk to. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and had working air conditioning, which is important for this region.

We stayed with a large group of children, and everyone was accommodated comfortably! The rooms are clean and beautiful, with a refrigerator, TV, and kettle. The breakfast is excellent for both children and adults, with plenty to choose from! 👍!!! Thank you again for your hospitality and patience! 😅!!!

“The hotel is new, everything is clean in the room, comfortable mattresses, the staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and satisfying. "

The best thing about this hotel is the size of the room. The building and rooms are brand new, and it feels like nobody has stayed there before. You literally get a one bedroom flat. There is a spacious sitting area with a small fridge and sofa. The bedroom is small but serves the purpose as the sitting area has plenty of room for your personal stuff. The bathroom is also huge with a very big bathtub...

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, yet close to the main attractions. The breakfast was decent; in addition to the standard cheese, sausage, and eggs, there was oatmeal. The rooms are spacious. Refrigerators are missing.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, the rooms are very large and clean. The air conditioning works, the huge TV too. The only problem is that we asked to extend our stay for two more nights, the evening hostess said yes, but the next day the day hostess told us that it was ultimately not possible! But they were very friendly, letting us store our bags while we found another hotel and even recommending...

Good level of service but they need to improve their room and buffet services.

8.5/10 or 4/5 is fair. The price is exceptional. I stayed 5 nights and booked the attic room which contained a double bed, AC, desk, chair and ensuite which was well kept and there was always hot water available. The place was clean. My rating is solely based on the price, however, as every good review must account for, though personally, I wouldn't stay again. Firstly, if there is a fire on the ground...

Great place, super value and most importantly, friendly vibe. Loved my stay here.

Very friendly and helpful guesthouse. Altai, Alnura and Danil were always available to answer questions, and they let us keep our bags at the guesthouse and have a shower whilst we waited for the train the next day. Good value too.

Very cool hotel. All liked it. Recommend.

Spent 4 nights. Fantastic room. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. Would definitely stay again

The hotel is very clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room is cozy, clean. The breakfasts are excellent. In general, I liked everything. I decided for myself that I would always stay at this hotel. And I advise you all. Great hotel. Next month I will come to you again.

Nice hotel, very polite staff. Booked by phone and explained everything. The breakfasts were delicious, only you had to pay extra for the child. Soft carpet throughout the hotel makes you feel very comfortable

Exceptional hotel! Staff was friendly! Breakfast was good (fresh fruits, biscuits, coffee, omelet are served). Well recommended.

Very comfortable. Nice atmosphere. Very tasty.

Great hostel, actually the best hostel in Kazachstan for us. Very friendly people, nice cold pool for those warm days. They offer cold beers in frozen glasses (what else you want) and tasty shaslik for good prices. Thank you again!

A very cozy and comfortable guest house. The owners are very nice and friendly people. There is also a good cafe with very tasty dumplings and “manti”. I highly recommend trying the food here, it’s handmade by the lady of the house.

A quiet and secured place to stay which is just a few minutes walk away from Karavan Saray.

They have amazing food 😍 Place is very clean and the family is very friendly 💙

reception girl in the morning was very hospitality and smily , i like this hostel clean and location very nice

I recently stayed at this hostel and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the common areas were great for meeting fellow travelers. The location was also perfect, close to public transportation and within walking distance of many attractions. I would...

Fine location, with modern interior spacious kitchen, common area, easy access to airport just km away from airport bus stop bus no.20

The hostel provided enough space for cooking and resting. Spacious bedroom. Whole area is clean.

Great place, good service, easy accomodations
