Nice place, rooms are good, but not clean enough. The kitchen was not tasty, none of my colleagues was satisfied with food. Half of them left the hotel the day earlier, as soon as the conference had ended. The last day already was paid with free transfer, but they preferred to order a taxi and leave.

July 2024.
Grounds
The grounds are small and well-maintained, with many flowers and trees. The lawns are mown. There's one store on the premises (with two or three more stores outside), a herbalist's salon (if you can call it that), a bar with table tennis, a barbecue area, a children's playground, a massage room, and a dining room with a terrace and an indoor area. It wasn't clear whether there was a sauna or not.
There are only two adjacent recreation areas within walking distance. There's no place to walk outside the recreation area.
Beach
The beach has sun loungers, permanent umbrellas, and gazebos. Gazebos are available for rent for an additional fee. There's also a pier. Beach activities included jet skis and SUP boards. This part of the coastline is characterized by a clay bottom, which makes the water murky. If the beach is crowded, the situation worsens. If you swim beyond the pier, the water becomes clear (see photo). The photo shows that the neighboring area has an even worse clay situation, and guests from the adjacent area come to swim at Okhotny Dvor beach.
Accommodation
We stayed in room 20 (VIP). The house is large and cozy. It has two bedrooms with large beds, a living room with a large sofa, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. Bathroom amenities include shampoo and shower gel. The room also includes robes and disposable slippers.
What we liked
- Cozy, quiet relaxation area, no noisy entertainment, lots of trees and flowers.
- Food: tasty and filling.
- The beach has decent plastic lounge chairs.
What could be improved
- Room cleaning: Upon arrival, we found a broken glass from a previously broken lampshade on the carpet. The glasses were dirty, with fingerprints and lip marks, and one glass was chipped. There were dried blood stains on the window handle. Although cleaning was done before check-in, it was clearly not thorough.
- Room: There's no trash can in the room; you have to use bags. The TV can only be reliably tuned to one local channel, which isn't particularly useful. The TV and telephone serve more as decorative elements. The bedrooms have closets, but they lack hangers. Outside, there's a wooden table with benches that are uncomfortable to sit on and infested with spiders and bugs that crawl onto you.
- Pond: The pond is clearly poorly maintained; debris floats in the water, and the water has a swampy color.
Conclusion
The Okhotny Dvor recreation area deserves a solid 4 out of 5. The cozy atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and delicious food make for a pleasant stay. However, there are several areas that require improvement, particularly in terms of cleanliness and service.
