Sanatorium Issyk-Ata in Bishkek

Just spent the day at the Ysyk- Ata... hot water pool and it was absolute bliss 🌊 Super relaxing vibes, comfy temps, and the perfect spot to unwind. The warm water was very relaxing, the place was clean, and the overall atmosphere was calm and refreshing. It was a wonderful experience and I would love to visit again.......

The hot baths was extremely hot,but the snow falling compensated.

Beautiful mountains with hot springs. Old Soviet crumbling infrastructure. Be sure to climb the mountains and look around. View is breathtaking. You can get there from Bishkek by shuttle bus number 316 leaving Vostochniy Avtovokzal. It only costs under 1$.

Great nature, surrounding gorge and waterfalls are beautiful! But the resort itself is a bit run down with old furniture. The building we stayed in, Korpus #2, had a bathroom and toilet in each room, which were recently renovated. You could have your own mineral bath there. Also had it's own kitchen with tasty dishes. The rest of the buildings use one common cafeteria. There are two big open swimming pools with hot spring water. There's also a smaller pool at the adjacent private Hotel Ulai, which we used.

Nice place, wonderful view of mountains. Mineral water is running for free, everybody is allowed to grab as much as they want, few pools filled with hot mineral water. But needs to improve the structure, service, good management and additional funds.

I've only ever been here in winter, but it is a wonderful place to come for a great winter hike, spend the day in the mountains, and then come back to the resort area and soak in the hot springs till the late evening. We try and go at least once every winter to see the frozen waterfall about 30 minutes walk up the valley. There are quite a few pools to choose from for soaking in the hot springs. It seems that each one is privately owned and they all have different price points and times of operation.
