Hostels in Bishkek

One of the hotels that is very friendly and clean. The staff are extremely welcoming. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day, hot water is always available, and a refrigerator is provided—everything feels just like being at home. There is also a laundry service, and guests can choose between bunk bed rooms or private rooms, all at quite affordable prices.

One of the hotels that is very friendly and clean In Kyrgyzstan. The staff are extremely welcoming. We can enjoy coffee and tea 24 hours a day, hot water is always available, a refrigerator is provided—everything feels just like being at home.

The hostel is good. There are enough showers and toilets. The people are helpful and friendly. Thanks to Erlan for the nice conversation

Good afternoon, travelers. A large group stayed at this hostel for the May holidays, May 8-11, 2025. Our hostess, Aliya, and her team greeted us warmly. They did everything with joy and sincerity, helping us recharge after a long journey. The beds were made, the air conditioners were working, and a delicious lunch awaited us in the kitchen. The cooks, including Aliya herself, deftly and skillfully...

Beautiful new, clean hostel in the center of town with very helpful staff. Lovely place.

Excellent location! I am very glad I have made a smart choice to stay at Kaganat Hostel during my trip at Kyrgyzstan. It is easily accessible to different spots in the city. I had a very comfortable stay in this hostel, its so clean, the room is cozy, the facilities are complete and the employees are approachable and accomodating. Great customer service! I will definitely book again. Highly recommended

Great stay! We arrived late in the evening and couldn’t find the entrance. After giving him a call, Emir came to meet us and guided us to the entrance. Everything was well organized, and we had a comfortable night’s stay. Unfortunately, we ended up missing our flight, but Emir made sure we still had a nice place to stay. He was also very flexible with the check-out time. He was understanding of our...

Definitely further out from the city centre. The hostel rooms/beds are just okay but the service is lovely, there is an AC, wifi connection can be a tad bit slower at times, the shower itself is spacious. the main advantage going for the place is the active efforts put into keeping it social and vibrant. the staff and volunteers work hard clearly. there is always something organised and going on,...

It was so good stay. I can recommend you to stay here.

good enough for a short stay, honestly pretty clean and the staff were nice

Very kind and accomodating staff especially meer1mkg and the manager. Good service, rooms are clean. Very comfortable and affordable for its price. They even help us to buy the white honey which is a rare one. Food was great and prepared early.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fabulous stay at Apple Hostel Bishkek for 3 nights and truly enjoyed every moment. We booked a private room for two (comes with our own private bathroom), which was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. All the facilities were well maintained. The kitchen was spotless, the living room was cozy and welcoming with big screen & comfortable couch, complete with board games and the...

Perfect. But lots of permanent residents here, no hostel vibe at all

Room is clean and comfortable. There is a kitchen for you to cook and a washing machine as well. Overall we love our staying time at the place. Definitely recommend to everyone. Just a note that There is no elevator which is quite painful to carry your big luggage upto the first floor where the reception is, then up to the 2nd floor to your room 😅😅

This hostel totally recommended for you guys if you looking for a sharing room or even private room, they have good kitchen and complete for the kitchen aids, their room clean, and also their toilet even the toilet is sharing but they keep it clean 👍🏻

I like everything room, bathroom living room. However, wifi not work and it ruin experience.

Very small but clean and decent hostel. I booked a private room which was tiny and no bathroom. The price was fairly high for no private bathroom or even mirror in the room. The shared bathroom is nice and overall the property is central and clean. There is a kitchen and restaurant upstairs but I didn’t use either. Stayed only in passing for an early flight.

super clean, had a really nice stay here. not really a social hostel but a great place to get a good night's sleep (especially if you're meeting your tour near the station early in the morning). the only thing that could be an issue is there's only 1 toilet and 2 showers (in the women's bathroom) so if it is full this could mean a wait!

I’m really enjoyed my time in this hostel. The staff do their best in order to fullfill my needs. Thank you so much

The hostel was really nice. It was clean, had a water purifier, towels, and even a co-working space. I had a late departure the next day, so I checked out and came back briefly, but they were very kind and said it was okay. If I ever come to Bishkek again, I'd love to stay here again.

Excellent hostel and friendly staff. I've been here many times 😃

The accommodation is far from downtown Bishkek, but the clean interior, clean bed, and friendly service were impressive.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Comfortable

new hotel, opened in September. I liked the interior. on the 1st floor there is a hostel and a cafe, on the second floor there are full rooms with their own bathroom. The cafe at the hotel has good coffee and cheesecakes, but the choice is extremely meager. you can cook in the shared kitchen, all the necessary utensils are available. stable internet. the room itself is small, 10 meters + bath, but...

This is a pleasant place to stay. It is clean and in a quiet location. As the name suggests, the highlight is the lovely cats! They are super friendly and sweet. Obviously, don’t stay here if you don’t want to be around cats. Otherwise, recommended for everyone else!

The best hostel in Bishkek, many thanks to Andrey and Olga for their hospitality. It's cozy like home. The location is wonderful - there are many green parks around, there are shops, cafes, the city center is very easy to get to. Wonderful fluffy tenants 🐱 as a special bonus. Next time only here.

Perfect Hostel. Very clean and comfortable. The man at the front desk helped me with everything, I was very grateful.

This place is a good place to stay in Bishkek for travelers looking for convenience and affordability. Facilities such as a shared kitchen, and a laundry room are provided for guests. In addition, the reception staff is responsive and friendly. Overall, a stay here is a nice experience.

Very good hostel, wonderful administrator and her little assistant. Convenient, clean and comfortable. Huge thanks.

I was satisfied, thank you for the great hospitality, I'll definitely stay with you again. I recommend it to everyone; the price is well-suited to the hostel's quality.

An excellent hostel. It's not perfect, of course, but for the price they charge per night, it's quite decent. It's clean and reasonably cozy. There are two toilets and two showers. Internet is available. Across the street is a shopping center with fast food, a pharmacy, and many other shops. There are plenty of cafes and entertainment options within a 20-minute walk.

Great place, very clean hostel, friendly atmosphere. Always clean and quiet! I recommend it to everyone.

I really recommend this hotel for friends, solo travelers and family.

I bought a hotel island, 1 bed, 1 person, they tried to give me a hostel for 4 people.

Rooms are recently refurbished and very clean, just missing some final touches like towel hooks in the bathroom. The lady at the reception is super helpful and friendly. Good location.

Very kind, warm and considerate people. They even let me leave my friend's gift because he was not able to visit me when I was still there. Their service is very good. Well located too, there is a coffee shop, an ATM and supermarket near. It's easy to access the city center via bus because there is a bus stop at 3 min walk.

I had such a great stay at Tunduk Hostel in Kyrgyzstan! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were absolutely amazing throughout our entire stay. They helped us plan our whole trip, answered all of our questions with patience, and gave us fantastic advice about where to go and what to do. One of the best things about Tunduk Hostel is how well they organize everything...

We had an incredible stay at this hostel. The atmosphere was warm, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we immediately felt at home. The best part was the owner. She helped us so much in organizing our trip to Kyrgyzstan. She gave us great advice about itineraries, transportation, and hidden gems. Even during our trip, we were able to stay in touch with her and she was always kind, responsive...

I wish the towels were a little cleaner, but the price and the size of the facility were great.

Highly recommend Tunduk hostel!! The hosts are what makes this place really special - Azema is so helpful and will take the time to sit down and help you plan your trip over a map, and Baitur is a really friendly presence around the hostel. When one of our group became unexpectedly ill, Azema was really flexible and accomodating, checking in with us daily, it was really comforting to know someone else...

Although the host was not at the front desk 24 hours a day, he introduced me to the facilities at the hostel when I checked in, and later in the evening he sent me a WhatsApp message giving me directions to the minibus stop and my destination for the next day.

I had a wonderful stay at Aruu Hostel. The place is sparkling clean and has a very cozy, homey atmosphere. What made it even better was the incredibly polite and helpful staff. It truly feels like a home away from home!

A brand-new hostel finished to the highest standards. It features spacious interiors, a courtyard with tables, and a separate room for working on a computer. The beds are equipped with individual lighting, a power outlet, and a shelf. You are given a badge that opens your personal locker. Very friendly staff. Many thanks!

Stayed here for around two months and honestly had a very good experience. I stayed both in the shared male dorm and in the private double room, so I got to see different sides of the hostel. What stood out the most is how clean and comfortable everything is — kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, common areas are consistently maintained. All necessary kitchen equipment is available, and the whole place feels...

We had a wonderful stay at Aruu Hostel! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They allowed us to check in early, which was a huge help after our journey and made us feel truly cared for. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere. We really appreciate their hospitality and would definitely recommend Aruu Hostel to anyone visiting Bishkek. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant

It’s a pretty quiet and chill hostel. If you want to social, this might not be the best place. BUT, if you are with your friends and you need a good shower and rest for a day before socializing with other travellers again, this is the best place. Booked this place after my horse trekking and it was so enjoyable.

Decent place to stay good beds with privacy curtains and lockers. People in the common areas can be pretty loud.

The best hostel in Central Asia, the best in Kyrgyzstan, and especially in Center Bishkek. Great price for accommodation. Very friendly staff, special thank you to Anna and Aliya. Great for meeting fellow travels and making friends. Comfortable to live. Great base in-between your travels. Curtains, showers, kitchen, always working and clean. I studied at Lingua Yurt School in the same building and...

Great location; plenty of showers (hot water) and toilets; kitchen adequate though frig gets stuffed with people’s half-eaten food; coffee/tea available as advertised. Good WiFi.

Great little hostel and one of the most central in Bishkek. It's only small and prob has a few more beds than it should have, so it can seem busy but it's super clean inside (the cleaning lady never stops working) and the staff are lovely. The showers are amazing. Toilets are a bit squeezed but always super clean. Great kitchen with free tea and coffee. Small sitting area. Tip. When you entre the...

This is a great hostel within the center of Bishkek. Almost all of the tourist spots are within walking distance. There are also many bus stops around. The hostel itself if very clean. When I say clean it’s really clean. Throughout my stay I never saw it untidy. The beds are comfortable with privacy curtain. I had a good night sleep all throughout my stay. The staffs were amazing as well trying...

Having stayed in numerous hostels, this one genuinely stands out. As a remote worker, I deeply appreciated the dedicated work area, further enhanced by reliable wifi. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service was truly exceptional. The kitchen is equipped with everything one might need, and the location is fantastic, with many restaurants, banks, parks, grocery stores, and malls just a short...

I had a really pleasant experience at People Hostel. The place is clean, cozy, and has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations about the city. The location is very convenient — close to the city center, cafes, shops, and public transport. The common areas are comfortable, perfect for relaxing and meeting other travelers...

Best place to stay.. feels like home.. hosts are so friendly and supportive.. loved every bit of my stay here for a week

I had the loveliest stay here with a very accommodating staff who helped me with everything. I was able to wash my clothes here for a very reasonable price as well as buy handmade souvenirs. Even as a solo female traveler I felt very safe here. Everything was clean and I was able to use the cowering space also. Thank you!

Really nice hostel! Firstly, the staff members working here are lovely, they were a joy to talk to (and so where the other guests). The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and they got enough bathrooms for everyone. The hostel also has a nice common area and well equipped kitchen. The area its located in is not too far from the city center and is vibrant with plenty of bars and restaurants. Definitely...

The staff were very helpful, they went out of their way more than once to make sure that our stay was successful even after we had left the hostel. The location is very good, there are bars, restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance. The hostel itself is very clean, has more amenities than I have ever seen in a hostel (chill room with gaming setup and tv, space for reading, outdoor...

The hostel attendants are all handpicked. I saw a guy (I didn’t remember his name) and three girls, I also don’t remember the name of one, but the ones I remembered were Aiperi and Kasya. All the guys are friendly, customer-oriented, and courteous. They have that golden mean when you work with a client and don’t underplay or overplay. Everyone has excellent English. (I recommend that they add a salary...

I had a great experience at the hotel. The receptionist, Saliya, was very polite, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. She made the check-in process smooth and ensured everything was comfortable during my stay. Her kindness and attentiveness truly made a positive impression. Thank you, Saliya, for your excellent service!

A budget hostel with pod beds. The bed I slept in was comfortable, and toilets and shower facilities were pretty good. Wifi was decent, and the location is fairly central.

Great location, my room was more like a hotel room. Of course they have cheaper dormitories. It was oddly void of foreigners but that's because someone probably tanked their rating on hostelworld. Unreservedly so.

I stayed at Centre Hostel for 6 nights. I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. The location of the hostel is perfect. It is very close to bus stops, multiple restaurants ,and a shopping mall in which there is a large supermarket. The staff could not speak much English, but I was able to communicate with them through Google Translate. The hostel is very clean and organized. it also has a beautiful yard. One...

Very good hostel. I've been in several hostels in Bishkek and I can say for sure that this hostel is one of the best. Very clean, beds are very big and comfy, fast free wifi, working spaces, always hot water to take a shower. They've got very good staff, all of them are very polite and do their job very good. Thank You for your hospitality!

Stayed there for about a month. Overall experience was great, kitchen area is nice. There is a common room as well where you can watch TV or sit quietly and work. Rooms are clear as well.

Centre hostel is a lovely and a quiet place. Aba takes care of the hostel and is so good that he can take you around places in the city. The place has 6 and 8 bunk bed rooms with shared bathrooms. You can enjoy the stay here. In the picture are Koba and Ana parents of Aba. They are beautiful people. They took me to Issukul even.. Do advance bookings. If not you might miss a chance as you have floating...

The host is kind and generous. Very attentive to our needs. Stocking up energy through the food that was served via free breakfast is a plus factor since we have an all day tour. I can't get enough of their homemade jam, and their house blend tea. Experiencing the Kyrgz way of breakfast is a must try. The bed room and rest room are clean and well maintained. All in all, the hospitality of the host...

Kurak Home Stay in Kyrgyzstan offers an authentic and heartwarming experience for travelers seeking to immerse themselves in local culture. Nestled in a picturesque village, this homestay provides a unique opportunity to live like a local, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and traditional Kyrgyz hospitality. The accommodations at Kurak Home Stay are simple yet comfortable, reflecting the traditional...

Beautiful family. Cozy and clean home with a wonderful vibe. Well equipped washroom. Will go next time also. Shout out to Bek , great guy! Decent location.

The owner is very nice, helps with all questions and gives tips for the rest of the vacation. Are already the second time here. He even let us in the house even though he wasn't there himself. He speaks Russian and very good English. This is a good way to establish contact.

We stayed with this lovely Kyrgyz family for two nights. We really liked this accommodation. The room was clean and spacious :) the room also had air conditioning. They were really nice and helpful :) I definitely recommend this place to stay!

I opted for this establishment based on my late-flight arrival and its position slightly further away from the main hub of the city. The property has a nice exterior/interior and seemed like a nice family home. It is, however, a fully-functioning family abode, so expect children and work/school routines to be present. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. There wasn't a wardrobe, or anywhere...

Old facilities, average environment, good location, livable

A good comfortable hotel, clean most importantly, but the toilets are shared and the shower too. Noisy at night

All hotels in Bishkek are very clean! The room in this hotel is very small. When I showered, water leaked into the corridor, and then flowed from the corridor through the gap under the door into the floor of the room. Very bad! The room is unimaginably small, and the price is still high. The price is obviously higher than other hotels nearby. The Chinese service is fake. Only the boss can speak a little...

Price, state of repair, cleanliness are above average for the price

Hygiene: Clean and tidy Service: Warm and thoughtful

Overall a good hotel but it was quite hot. I tried to open the window but a lot of mosquitoes came. I would add mosquito nets to the windows, plus I would buy fans and a room, they are cheap but add comfort

Starting hostel where we were almost alone which was super cool because the house is huge. Chilling at the garden was the best. It’s close to the bus stop for reaching Ala Archa.

I don’t usually give reviews but this one really deserves a 5 star. I messaged them directly instead of booking in the site because at that time, my internet was unstable. The place is very comfortable. Only 20mins by bus to the city center. Near Ala Archa park too. Very big place enough for a big group of people. Very spacious room and spotless clean. You can see the mountain view from the outside...

Dolon Hostel was an absolute gem during my stay in Bishkek and easily one of the best value-for-money places I’ve stayed in Central Asia. The hostel is brand new, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. The dorm rooms have air conditioning, which is a huge plus during hot summer days. The bathrooms are spacious, modern, and there is plenty of room everywhere. What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere...

This was a really nice hostel! We had great clean rooms, great service, even folded laundry for 100 SOM. It was really close to Ala Archa National Park. I would definitely recommend this Hostel!

This newly opened hostel offers clean, comfy, and cozy rooms. It’s located a little outside the city, so the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. You can see the nearby mountains and enjoy the fresh breeze 🌬️ The owner is very friendly and courteous, always ready to help guests with anything they might need. Would highly recommend this place 👍🏻
