Sanatoriums in Issyk-Kul Region

Beautiful sanatorium with Soviet era vibes in the main building. The area is well maintained and has plenty of trees. There are good trails for running, a pool, and a medical center on site. The doctor will examine your health and can schedule medical services for you. There is a cool place with trees planted by cosmonauts (the last one is dated 2024) I really like historical places like this and that...

Old soviet ruin. But the lake was calm and beautiful. And the restaurant and its food were good.

Outdated resort with Soviet rooms, some are better but mainly needs to be repaired. Rooms are equipped with a small fridge, old style 📺, uncomfy beds. Some rooms have living rooms and kitchen. All rooms have access to balconies with lake view. The territory is green, full of 🌲 and trees, jogging paths, tennis courts and pool.

This used to be one of the best resorts in Soviet Kyrgyzstan. Now it looks quite outdated, food leaves a lot to be desired and most of the rooms need to be renovated. However, its territory is huge and relatively well kept, there is a large swimming pool, a spa center and the Altyn Korpusu has refurbished rooms. If you choose to stay here, stay in the Altyn rooms. You will also have a wonderful view...

Very beautiful and clam place!!

We’ve stayed in room for 3 person. Even though it was booked for 2 only, next day after check in they wanted to add one more person in our room which is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! How can you just add random people in someone’s room? Another complaint is about toilet smell. It was unbearable and we had to share it with another room, while booking I checked if it was shared bathroom or no, agent convinced...

great place for a vacation with family. In the evening, the view of the guesthouse is amazing. a lot of greenery, clean beach, ennobled territory. there are many medical treatments and food. the rooms are comfortable, spacious enough, the balcony offers a stunning view of the lake. awesome!

Nice place to stay and co-operative staff.

Fairly old and need of some TLC. It has a beach but pretty much the same as the public ones.

Amazing place for weekend trips😍! You can go here for picnic’s have an amIng view with yachts and sea diving paragliding 🌊 And most importantly don’t forget to do beaching here🌊☀️!!! Have a nice trip to issykul/cholpon ata

Great place for a relaxing holiday. There are nuances: Book a room in building 21 so as not to run down the street after the procedures) If you book building 9 without procedures, this is the first line from the beach. The food is good, balanced, the waiters are polite. The area is very beautiful and well maintained. Clean beach. Ideal for a relaxing holiday. I advise 👌

Loved the ground area! Well-groomed flower beds, beautiful, tall and branchy mature trees, neat asphalt paths. The air is saturated with the scents of petunias and spruce needles. Birches are a separate song .. The beach is good. Sand on the shore and at the bottom under water. The entrance to the water is gentle. The beach is small. I didn't like the quality of the water at all. Apparently, geographically...

I'm here for the second time in a year. Very clean and tidy everywhere. Always want to come back here. A large park, forest, Crimean pines, spruce, thuja, birch and even boxwood. And how many pheasants, squirrels and ducks are here!!! The beach is clean, but after lunch a lot of seaweed is nailed. The water was cold in July. And now in September it is very warm. And the weather is hot. The food...

The place is good. Park, squirrels, beach... All the buildings are old, mostly Soviet. There are a couple of thieves' cottages, but in general everything is very simple. Sanatorium treatment at the level. They feed well. But everything is kind of official. Even for this money you can find something decent

Rested in August 2022. The place is wonderful! On the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Pinery. Silence. Lots of flowers, mostly roses. Meals for 4-: the menu is set daily, there is no choice of dishes. Breakfast and lunch are classic, 2 main courses are served for dinner. Milk and fruits are not given. We lived in a double cottage. Comfort rating for 4. The room has a toilet, shower, TV, refrigerator. Laundry...

The place is very cool. There are many rooms inside, the teachers are kind and everyone else is also very kind ^-^ Concerts and discos are held almost every day;)

Not far from CHOLPON-ATA For many years, either a boarding house or a hotel has been built ... It is not entirely clear whether this is a completely modern building or an attempt to adapt some kind of Soviet long-term construction, - but in its current form sluggish construction looks absurd, but somewhat futuristic and even slightly alien...

When will it work, or is it already working?

The resort's location is in the heart of nature, and the villas and walkways are beautiful from the outside. However, the service is poor, the resort is overpriced, and it's far from amenities. There aren't any shops selling food or drinks inside or near the resort! The villa handover was delayed. I think if there were more services and improvements to the resort, it would be absolutely wonderful,...

When I saw some of the bad reviews I was skeptical about this place, but when we checked in I was pleasantly surprised to see very friendly staff, the house that was extremely clean, warm, specious, comfy beds, and very clean kitchen. But most importantly the views from the panoramic deck ware breathtaking. We had a great time and we will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Everything is fine, the houses are warm and very beautiful. The base is nearby, you can even walk. Of the minuses, it’s crazy audibility in the houses and I VERY DID NOT LIKE that in order to fry your meat on your own coals, you have to pay 3000 soms, well, a very crazy price !!

Wow, drop dead cool place, the houses smell like wood. There are comfortable rooms inside, there is a wooden sports ground (barbells, dumbbells), good photos can be taken on the territory. In the summer part of the house was 150 dollars, for 5, ok, in winter they say it costs 500. There is access to the mountains, and a wonderful view. In general, it's great here!☝️😋🙏

Chalets are nice but only one shower for 8

Very nice place. In restaurant, some plates ok, other not so special. But very clean and service with the smile

Very nice people. Excellent and well furnished breakfast. Really very good. General look nice, rooms a little less fresh. But overall a good experience

Simple and inexpensive. Cheap and not very nice furniture. No restaurant service apart from breakfast in the cellar. No nearby restaurants. Shower holder broken. Electric power socket in shower taped over.

It is a place not far from the center of Karakol. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Globus Mart, and there is a currency exchange office near the mart. (In the case of the room I booked) I can't say that the room service was good because there was no hairdryer or toiletries, but overall, the room was very clean and the breakfast was satisfactory. The main reason I personally recommend this place is because...

The location of hotel is very good, near many places of interest and the most central street of Karakol where you have shops, ATMs... I had a room on the first floor (ground floor) which was divided into two: bedroom and larger "living room" with sofa and tv, furniture. The bathroom was quite basic and lack of products like soap and shampoo, no hair dryer as well. Breakfast times were very short, it...

The woman who owns this hotel is very kind and friendly. She was helpful and gave local recommendations. The room was larger than I expected. The hotel is conveniently located along a main road, making it easy to walk places.

The hotel has an amazing facilities and the variety of restaurants are amazing you have world wide choices. On the other hand the drawbacks that the room is narrow we had 2 single beds but they are narrow you cant move while your sleeping or you’ll fall. The other drawbacks is that i had my medicine with me which require fridge to keep cool it was working but it didnt cool the medicine and when i tried...

There needs to be someone at the front desk who can speak impeccable English. We tried to tell them that our Refrigerator didn’t work, and our tub leaked causing water to be on the floor. I slipped and fell even though I kept trying to clean it up. It needs to be Caulked/Sealed around the tub and all cracks. We have told the front desk three times and they evidently don’t care. When you pay good...

Baytur Resort & Spa is truly an amazing place to stay! I originally had a reservation at another resort, but my tour guide asked me, “Why haven’t you booked Baytur instead?”—and I’m so glad I listened. The moment I arrived, I was stunned by the breathtaking views, the warm hospitality, and the quality of the deluxe rooms. Everything here is spotless and beautifully maintained. I also had a look at...

This place is Antalya in Kyrgyzstan, everything here is organized at the highest level, many thanks to the creators of this boarding house, you are great!👍👍🔥🔥

We stayed one night while still in soft opening. The general manager Ovidio was very welcoming and apologized for some of the teething issues at the hotel but welcome the addition to the Kyrgyz hospitality industry. Food was very good.

Would like to go back during the summer season. Its a pretty impressive resort with a huge indoor swimming pool. Their Da Vinci restaurant was the only one open when we were there in February and I must say they have one hell of a chef! Great food indeed! Beach area is kind of small for such a big resort. Had a nice time.

Reasonable stay if you have tight budget. One thing that bothers me is breakfast. Hotel don’t provide early morning breakfast and the quality of food is lower than expected. I may not recommend this hotel if you can find other if any.

We really loved our stay here but the rooms did not have Wifi. So if we didn't buy sim card, we would end up cut from the entire world. It's a typical post Soviet place. There's a hotel inside the place and there is a cafe called Cafe de Gusto. Card is accepted there and they have good Shisha, shashlik and wine.

Very peaceful and clean environment. I really enjoyed a lot

Breakfast is not continental, it is Kyrgyz national breakfast. There are no food options for celiacs, vegans or vegetarian. The hotel is a bit run down, it is not a 4 star hotel, capable 3

Clean hotel rooms, good view. Excellent views!

Very good location: lake is amazing, sandy beach and blue clean water. But the hotel has very poor service and comfort.

New and clean rooms. Toilets have showers and bidet. Access to the lake sandy beach along with a bridge over the lake.

We took the 4-bed suite with the big balcony with a view of the lake and the mountains. The bathroom was missing the towel bar, and the fan was dying. The beds were hard. The room was otherwise ok. Breakfast was decent and the grounds and the beach area were very nice. If I make it back to Cholpan Ata, I'd consider staying there again.

I am on 15 days tour to kyrgyzstan and last night stayed in this hotel and the location is so beautiful , don't feel like leaving this place. Rooms are very big n clean. Excellent breakfast and the garden and beach is so amazing. I love to come n stay again at this location. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay memorable

Excellent location with fresh and shallow beach. Adorable place for vacation with kids. Hotel offers as an option three meals which is absolutely great option for moms with children. Recommended.

Pros: Well cleaned superior double room, bed comfortability was above average, bathroom was cleaned too, hotel is near to beach area, overall property was quiet, the ambience of premises was clean and well maintained with varieties of flowers. Room for improvements: B&B should have buffet breakfast system with varieties of items (sucessive four days had same tabelled breakfast). Bathroom requires...

Small, cozy, new. It's not a place for party animals, but rather those who prefer more intimate atmosphere. The shore is like a little bay area, and can get crowded during the hottest hours.
