The pluses: The room was super clean. The location is easy to get to the airport, bus terminal, downtown. And there is a small restaurant nearby with nice selection on the menu. The stuff is helpful and friendly. The minuses: The room is worn out. It needs a vacation or an upgrade. (But remember, it was still super clean!!!) The kitchen area is just scary. And I am not gonna add more descriptions...

I needed a hotel last minute for a half night and this was a good cheap option; it’s an alright spot for the price! If you need to stay one night - it’s fine, good location for travel links. Rooms are large, nice high ceilings. But I wouldn't stay with kids or for multiple days; there was no tv in a room and general vibe was a bit as if I entered a pub.

It was ok but do not open window as it is second floor and anyone can enter from street to your room.

OK hotel is okay OK hotel was okay. We got in to Rīga really late and the hotel is 10 min from the airport and is really cheap. Thats why we booked it. So i knew what I Got and for the money its ok. Got a family room with ballons instead of 2 separate rooms. That was nice and so was the staff.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel for two nights in November 2025 together with my dog, a Border Collie. We were received warmly and treated kindly by the staff throughout our stay. Great location, too. Would definitely book again! :)

Had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff is super nice and fluent in English. Everything was super clean. It's very close to great restaurants malls and grocery stores too. Makes it very affordable and convenient while still enjoying the luxury it has.

This hotel is OK. The room has everything you need. It is also very close to the station and the transportation location is very convenient. Overall, it is worth recommending.

We had a truly fantastic time staying here. Everything from the room surfaces to the bathroom was sparkling clean and the common kitchen was just spotless. This little hotel was awesome! We loved the location, so close to Old City attractions. It was exceptionally clean and very quiet. The rooms are very small but we were only there to sleep. I will definitely stay here again. Loved the kitchen area too.

It's very close to the tourist attractions, but the hotel is on the basement floor, so people passing by can see it. Everything else is ok, there is a shared kitchen outside, and there is a washing machine, but no dryer.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Palace Hotel. The staff at check-in were so gracious and friendly. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I loved the turn down service in the evenings. This hotel was recommended by a client. It's reasonably priced, but the bed is a bit soft. It's a 20-minute walk to the Old Town, and Albert Street is right next door. Riga isn't a big city, so staying here is very convenient!

Entrance to foyer is up about 10 STEEP steps with inadequate handrail. Be warned if you are wobbly on your feet, no one will help with your cases. Bus guests made breakfast a real nightmare. I have never experienced a breakfast like this anywhere in the world.

Peaceful hotel in a really beautiful area. We had no view from the junior suite but it was clean, quiet and spacious. The breakfast selection was good but the breakfast buffet was quite crowded each morning. The sauna facilities were nice, but sauna was missing a light for some reason. Friendly staff. The hotel is quiet and has good facilities. They offer a great breakfast. Room was clean but could use some repairs such as the caulking around the shower and the floor of the shower. The towels also need renovating. Overall we were happy with our choice.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast is included and was satisfying. Room was somewhat spartan but the bed was very comfortable. I like the neighborhood surrounding the hotel.

I recommend not to choose the rooms on the right side of the entrance starting with numbers 4 and 5. They are different, more modest than those in the hotel photos. The beds were comfortable though. In the evening only cold water flowed. A bonus is the wide breakfast buffet.

What a Gem! So glad I found this boutique hotel right in the heart of “old town” Riga. Only a handful of rooms, each unique and very nicely appointed. Elevator or stairs to get you to the rooftop bar that’s open seasonally. breakfast is amazing in the Michelin rated restaurant downstairs. The service by the front desk was terrific as well, always helpful with transportation or other advice.

At this price point, it’s an excellent choice for a short stay. I especially appreciated the receptionist Alyona who helped in a moment of difficulty. The rooms are equipped with almost everything that’s necessary and, if not, you can ask the front desk.

This was a perfect quaint little place away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but only 3 km from downtown Riga. It was a perfect location for us. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Great location and our room had ensuite shower and toilet. Quite budget place with old and very squeaky bad. Impossible even to roll over without making a lot on noise. Good for a short stay but I haven't seen other rooms.

Were there as a group of four. The room was clean and big. We only stayed two nights so it was perfect. If you plan a longer stay it may not be the best option as the bathrooms and showers are shared and the beds are a bit squeaky.
