This lovely hotel located in the old town, walking distance to most of the tourist sights. They had laundry facility at level 4 with a payment of EUR 4.50. There had lot of cafes and restaurants around them. Room size is big and clean. Stable free wifi connections.

This hotel was incredibly convenient, located just behind the Blackhead House in the Old Town, and very close to the airport bus stop. The room was clean, and all the front desk staff were so kind, making our stay very pleasant. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance!

This hotel is marketed as 4-stars however I was very disappointed to see low 3-star standard evident throughout the hotel. Poor service Will not book again.

The location is really good for us. We took a bus heading to Lithuania in the early morning. We walked to reach their. It was really easy. We did not enjoy using towels as we smelled vinegar in it.

Hotel staff was very welcoming at check in and provided a map of Old Riga and made suggestions for things to see and do. The room itself is clean and includes all necessary amenities. If you plan to do laundry, there’s a 4.50 euro charge to enter the laundry room and then you can use it as much as you want. Bring your own detergent! We stayed at Rija VEF Hotel from September 18, 2025 (around 5 PM) until September 20 (4 AM). The hotel was okay. Our room was clean, and the breakfast was fine, though we expected a bit more variety (they made sure to refill the food). Generally speaking the location of this hotel is OK. Free parking is a big plus but it will heavily now depend which side of the hotel you get your room. If it is street side then even with closed windows the noise of loud. If its towards the parking side, its quiet as a grave. The hotel is quite good. Convenient location between two parks and next to the Old Town, just a 5-minute walk away. Friendly reception staff and efficient check-in. The room was generally okay, but it could have been cleaned better; the walls were very dirty in several places. However, the bed, bathroom, and floor were clean. Breakfast could have had a wider selection, but it was tasty.

Ridzene is a bit "older" by their staff description... But it is well kept, has a super nice staff, and great breakfast (similar in choice and quality to what I recall of Rad Blu Latvia). Gym/sauna 24 hr, quiet as it is not the casino and conference center, but right across the park! Could it have been a kgb hotel, backed up to the old usa embassy??

This hotel is one of our favorites in Riga. The meal in the morning is great and the people are fantastic, but the hotel itself is getting very dated and worn down.

Good hotel, great location, good breakfast. The problem, like most hotels in Riga's Old Town - no parking! So if you're traveling by car, I suggest you do your homework in advance about where to leave your car. And it won't be cheap.

The location is great - close to tram/train/bus and walking distance to old town. Quite charming as well but not by any means particularly comfortable. The beds are very hard and the AC was not adjustable (except the fan speed but I'm still unsure if it was actually cooling or heating...). The breakfast is good, especially the cottage cheese pancakes. The room was reasonable, but I believe furniture needs to be renovated. There aren’t enough toiletries in the bathroom. We had booked their hotel apartment for 4 nights. The apartment was nice, spacious and everything was of good quality. I thought we would be serviced, but they didn’t even empty the trash bin. We stayed a night and walked to the old town. It took about 15 minutes. Our room was small, we had no room to open our cases. The bathroom was small with a shower over a bath which can be hard to get in and out for some. Breakfast was okay, at the front of the hotel.

Finally a hotel that gets it! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and as soon as you enter you feel like a guest and not a customer. I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Palace Hotel. The staff at check-in were so gracious and friendly. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I loved the turn down service in the evenings. The hotel is very close to the cheerful Christmas market. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and in Riga. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the city.

This hotel was recommended by a client. It's reasonably priced, but the bed is a bit soft. It's a 20-minute walk to the Old Town, and Albert Street is right next door. Riga isn't a big city, so staying here is very convenient!

Entrance to foyer is up about 10 STEEP steps with inadequate handrail. Be warned if you are wobbly on your feet, no one will help with your cases. Bus guests made breakfast a real nightmare. I have never experienced a breakfast like this anywhere in the world.

Peaceful hotel in a really beautiful area. We had no view from the junior suite but it was clean, quiet and spacious. The breakfast selection was good but the breakfast buffet was quite crowded each morning. The sauna facilities were nice, but sauna was missing a light for some reason. Friendly staff. I have travelled to more than one hundred countries and stayed in numerous hotels. Neiburgs is one of my favorites. It is located just behind the Riga Cathedral and is convenient to the old town sites. It has a very good restaurant attached to the hotel. Highly recommended its fish/seafood soup. The suite I booked was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Although located in a residential area, the hotel is close to "central" Riga; you can easily walk to cafes, bars, restaurants, and many cultural attractions. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at A22 and would love to stay there again the next time I visit Riga.

An elegant, modern,sleek hotel adjacent to great restaurants, fabulous historic apartments and a major tree-lined park. That JFK stayed in the same place when he was 22 years old is a nice added touch.

Located in a old house. Everything was old floors, carpets and beds. The walls were paperthin and you could hear every door slam on the same floor. Breakfast was small but ok. Great staff and service though. But all in all average at best.

What a Gem! So glad I found this boutique hotel right in the heart of “old town” Riga. Only a handful of rooms, each unique and very nicely appointed. Elevator or stairs to get you to the rooftop bar that’s open seasonally. breakfast is amazing in the Michelin rated restaurant downstairs. The service by the front desk was terrific as well, always helpful with transportation or other advice.

I've been staying at the Bergs nearly 2 weeks and the staff are great, as are the rooms. I'm in one with a loft with the bed and main washroom upstairs and a nice powder room downstairs. I am picky customer/traveller and we arrived late in the evening and bit tired so I was looking for reasons to be unhappy with everything and indeed there was one occasion. Receptionist asked for my bank card details so that hotel could be able to charge my card if we used minibar items but I just never give card details just not logical thing to do nowadays. Not my first day in this hotel, I stay in this hotel my previous trip as well that’s why I selected this hotel. The breakfast bread is good. In my own personal opinion. It has a variety of warm food like my favorite baked beans. I would recommend this hotel also because it is very near to the airport

The hotel is quiet and has good facilities. They offer a great breakfast. Room was clean but could use some repairs such as the caulking around the shower and the floor of the shower. The towels also need renovating. Overall we were happy with our choice.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast is included and was satisfying. Room was somewhat spartan but the bed was very comfortable. I like the neighborhood surrounding the hotel.

I recommend not to choose the rooms on the right side of the entrance starting with numbers 4 and 5. They are different, more modest than those in the hotel photos. The beds were comfortable though. In the evening only cold water flowed. A bonus is the wide breakfast buffet.
