Great location and historical building. Staying here was really convenient to get to the popular areas including Armenian street and the jetty’s.

It was a very room that we got and a lot of character. It was also good not having any TV in the room. No distraction. Really great location in Georgetown Heritage area.
Only downside is poor sound proofing. The sound coming from the top floor room is really loud. Also the stairs to the upper floor are very steep and unsafe for the elder having difficulty walking.

Everything is great! The host is so accommodative and very helpful . He also recommended places to go while at Penang. The amenities were all provided. The location are great. It is walkable distance to chew jetty, penang street arts and more. Would come here again if i am coming to Penang! Thank you host!

A nice choice of accommodation in Penang. The place gives you a local Penang vibe. The kitchen is well equipped, which is great for those who want to cook. Wouldn’t mind staying here again.

I stayed there with my daughters. We were particularly impressed by the staff, who were always attentive and helpful. Upon arrival, we were allowed to check in early and check out late, which was very important for us because we wanted to get a good night's sleep before our long journey. After checkout, we were allowed to store our suitcases and use the common areas after our departure.
It's a very quiet and peaceful area, within walking distance of all the attractions. The rooms are spacious, split-level, which my children really enjoyed, as we had privacy, and the rooms are clean and pleasant.
I recommend it to everyone; it's an excellent hotel with its own unique atmosphere.

I loved my stay here- it's a fantastic location right in the heart of George Town, a short walk from everything you might want to do. It a a beautiful heritage building, well decorated and preserved. I had an attic room and it was huge but very homely, it contained lots of thoughtful details. You can also hear the fountain at night, which I personally really liked as it provided pleasant white noise. Everything works well, especially the shower and AC. The staff are lovely and so helpful, you are made to feel very welcome. The communal spaces are great, as is the roof terrace, and it is great to have use of a microwave, kettle, crockery and fridge as well as the free tea and coffee. It also felt very safe there, which is important as a solo female traveller.
The only thing that wasn't for me was that I found the beds quite hard, but that is personal preference. Overall a great place to stay and fantastic value for money!

Exceedingly nice staff. Looked great online, but, looks more like, either a building site, or it’s been burgled in reality!

The hosts waited to check me in after 23h00, thankful after the long travel day. The room was as advertised, very spacious and with all the amenities required... aircon, hot water, fridge and good quality finishes and linen/ towels. Great help yourself kitchen downstairs and a cozy roof terrace available too. Will definitely stay again if I find myself in Penang again! The hosts were happy to advice and recommend restaurants and places of interest, information on transport and basics like ATM's and sim card purchases. Give the Lang Hoose a go, you won't regret it!
